We loved the traditional Spanish look of the hotel and our room. There is parking and a restaurant opposite about a 100m distance. The gentleman on reception was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and well appointed. The hotel is literally off the main road and is a great stopover for the ferry.

We paid a visit to the restaurant which once again had a very rustic traditional feel. The staff didn't make you that welcome and we weren't overly impressed with the food we chose. It is though very popular with the Spanish and did start to get busy. We probably wouldn't stay here again, it was pleasant enough but we prefer another hotel as a stopover but unfortunately it was fully booked.

We have used this hotel for one night stop overs, but decided to have three nights here to visit the area. We treated ourselves to a suite and were very impressed. The reception staff were helpful and friendly suggesting places to visit. The hotel is well positioned for stop off when travelling to or from Santander or Bilbao to the south of Spain and for visiting places of interest, with a nice restaurant just across the car park

Nothing to dislike

The complex was very well situated, with a restaurant just across from the hotel and a petrol station there too. A continental breakfast is available in the hotel before the restaurant opens at 8.30.

Bread was served to us without asking and they tried to charge us €3.50 even though we didn't eat it. The restaurant wouldn't allow us to take our small dog in, even though we had told the hotel in advance that we had a small dog and paid extra for her.

The room is spacious and comfortable and the bathroom facilities are excellent. The hotel is just off the motorway so very convenient for a stop off on the way to Bilbao

The nearby restaurant had its menu in the hotel. It advertised a very good value three course set menu including a drink. When we got to the restaurant this was. It available and we were disappointed with the choice and price. This is our second visit to this hotel and last year the restaurant was much better.

Friendly greeting and an excellent location, so convenient for a stopover during a long drive from the south or vice versa. This was the second time we have stayed there within a month. The first time I forgot I had left a book in the room (my oversight). On our next trip I was presented immediately with the book which had been bagged and put on one side with my name on the bag in case we called or returned, what a great gesture. Also there are two restaurants, a winery and a petrol station within walking distance and parking adjacent to the room.

Everything was good

The location is excellent about 2 minutes drive off the Autovia. The room and staff were excellent. Breakfast was good value for money.

Across the car park is a restuarant which is ideally located, however we found the menu limited and the food not to the standard we expected. The waitress was very good and berween her English and our Spanish we managed quite well. Our only issue was the food quality.

I was about to book a hostal but saw this place and it had parking included, which is great when you’re on a motorcycle, my room looked out onto where my bike was parked under cover. The room was clean and well appointed, the chap on reception was very helpful.There is a bar and restaurant just across the car park which is superb. If for any reason I’m in the area again I will be staying there.

Spacious room & a very comfy bed on the second floor but there is a lift. Easy to find with plenty of parking space. Extremely friendly, helpful staff, spotlessly clean throughout. Restaurant opposite the hotel does not impact the peace & quiet of the area however if you want to eat there it is not cheap, though it is friendly.

There is nothing not to like.

Very convenient, close to the motorway. Good bar and restaurant directly opposite, plus fuel station and 2nd restaurant. Good parking. Pet friendly. Excellent reception team. For those who need it , electric charging points for cars.

Last time we stayed here bed and pillows were uncomfortable, however on this occasion they appear to have improved.

Close to main road, as we are heading up country was a quick and easy stop off the highway. Helpful friendly staff.

Bed was too hard but that is a personal choice. Our door was a bit old and difficult to close. Ate in the restaurant and had the menu of the day good value at €20 for 3 courses and a drink. However felt it was not good quality food, everything was served with chips and they were just hard scraps of potatoes. Maybe if we had the Al a carts it would have been better.
