After paying for a queen deluxe suite we were shown to a very small room with one queen bed. When I complained they moved us to a better room with a king bed. They said there would not be a price change. That night we were asked to pay 500mx more as we returned from a great day. I said no. The next day we were asked again for the 500 pesos. The staff was young and were professional, but I was unsettling. We ere the only people in the hotel. Please explain to me why you advertised the room upgrade and did not stand by your word.

The place is cute and spotless - staff is very sweet and helpful and the food is good

First night we were given a tiny room — but after speaking with helpful staff at the front desk (gracias Marycruz) we were given the Canela room which was perfect.

The hotel is beautiful, the room's furniture was great, the jacuzzi perfect, the room size amaizing, their pizzas were pretty good and their people are very friendly

The only issue is they claim they have parking sports in front of the hotel reserved for guests (I called in and asked before I booked my stay) and they only have like 4 spots, so there is no free parking as they claim., if they were honest about parking spots I wouldn't reserve with them

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Hotel was beautiful and clean. All staff was friendly, attentive and the food was great. It’s a short 15min car ride to the City center but has restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommend staying here.

This was an amazing place to stay. It was a tad bit pricey compared to other rooms around Guanajuato but was worth every penny especially when looking for a room with a Spa Bath. The room with the Spa Bath is called Lavanda which the room contained a King Size bed that was very comfortable with comfortable pillows. It had a nice narrow balcony that stretched more than 10ft long just wish there was some type of lawn chair to lay and sunbathe. The restroom had the Spa Bath, Walk-in shower and a private section for the toilet. Staff was amazing and accommodating Speaking Spanish will be a plus don't know if staff spoke English to be honest. AC unit also a sliding door with a screen door cover which is nice to keep open at night especially when it rains. A very quiet area of the city which was awesome to the point that you could literally notice when the city sleep it really does meaning no cars would be heard passing by nor people voices until 5-6am when everyone is getting ready for work which I really appreciate. There a beautiful park in front of the hotel. The food is delicious and affordable breakfast was included for free with our reservation which was an awesome perk. I will definitely book here next time when visiting Guanajuato I felt very welcomed and cattered to. Thank You Casa Florencia

I was charged 40 pesos (2 USD) for 2 extra bottles of water: when staying in such a high service level hotel ones expect complementary extras when of such low price. Additionally, at 11:30 AM I asked extra time for check-out (fixed at 12:00 AM,) just to have time to finish my breakfast, since the service was quite relaxed. I was asked to leave the room no later than 12:15 (15' extension). Again one expects more flexibility when paying for high level services.

Actually.... I didn't like the air-freshener odor. It was lovely but quite strong.

The hotel is in front of a very nice park, also near a dam, it’s a beautiful hotel, rooms are cozy and comfortable, breakfast is delicious and staff is friendly and helpful, service in general is great.

The staff went above and beyond and they made the stay that much more beautiful for us.
