Staff: very helpful. Location : right in front of Northfield s tube station. Near parks , great for runners. Nice restaurants nearby. Great pub up the road (the Plough) quiet room, though it was in the basement floor, you couldn't hear the trains or anything outside! Great for light sleepers . Ask for room 4 . Room had a microwave and a fridge. Good value for money.

Room was really cold , but the staff provided an extra duvet. It also needs refurbishing. Carpet is in bad shape, and walls need a coat of paint. Breakfast: should have more options. Nevertheless, it is still cheaper than most nearby cafés, since it's a buffet, even though it's continental.

The family room that was given to us was very spacious and big. Actually it was one of the biggest rooms we have ever seen and stayed in London. The hotel is right across from the Northfields station, which is on Piccadily line (blue line). Hence, a very convenient location. Staff was always helpful and kind.

The hotel is small, but very close to the station (right across the street). As we stayed in the family room, we didn't hear any noise from the tracks. I guess it could be an issue if the room potentially looked at the tracks. The family room we stayed in as in -1 floor. The only windows were ceiling windows as this room is literally in the basement. We didn't mind at all as the room was big and plently light came from the aforementioned ceiling windows.

Location extremely convenient, being opposite Northfields station. After reading other reviews we asked for a quiet room and were given one that didn't overlook the tube train tracks. Our room was on the opposite side of the building to the trains, and we couldn't hear them at all. We were overlooking a side road so the traffic from the main road wasn't intrusive either. As a bonus we had a balcony accessed by a French door. The room was on the south-facing side of the building and even with the curtains closed, the room did get hot but there was a/c to cool it down when we came back at night. Although we don't like using a/c because it is just one more thing towards climate change. The staff were very responsive by message before we arrived, when we were asking for a quiet room etc, and also very helpful when we were staying there. There was 24/7 reception desk that was reassuring.

The French door didn't have a roller blind but a fabric blind attached by Velcro at the top. Easy to pull down to allow daylight in, but you need to be tall or stand on a chair to put it back up. A curtain that could be drawn to one side would be better here. We were on the top floor and there was a constant noise from equipment somewhere on the building. Also other guests who were inconsiderate, talking loudly in corridors and letting doors bang when people might be sleeping. But that's not the fault of the hotel. Both problems solved with ear plugs. Never go away without them!

The hotel is well located, being about halfway between Heathrow airport and the West End. We stayed here for two nights when we arrived in England then went elsewhere for several weeks then returned for a longer stay. We also stayed here last year. It is very close to the train station and has very helpful pleasant staff members. If/when we're next in London we'll certainly consider staying here again.

The first room we had was on the quiet side of the building but the bathroom was very small. We stayed in a larger room for our second stay. It was on the train line side of the building but after the first couple of nights we stopped using earplugs. The carpets in the hallways are a bit shabby but staff were always cleaning them.

Staff was extraordinarily friendly and very helpful in accommodating my dietary needs (celiac’s disease). The hotel is ideally located between Heathrow and the city of London, so it’s a short ride with the underground in both directions. The station is opposite of the hotel. The facilities are absolutely in order for the price of the room, the room was clean, spacious and the beds were comfortable.

Not really related to the hotel itself, but the proximity to the underground means that the tracks go past the backside of the hotel and you can hear the trains running if the room faces them. Light sleepers should ask for a room on the other side of the hotel since the trains start running between 4 and 5am.

It's a great location for exploring London, but also if you want to take a break from the crowds of the big city for a while. The Picadilly line subway station is literally across the street, and this is the line that leads to many of the main tourist attractions. In addition, there are several cafes and restaurants close to the hotel (Sikulo, Mo's, Poison Ivy Cofee and Element Cofee) - we had breakfast and a few dinners there

small technical faults in the room...such as: broken roller blind, unscrewed toilet seat or faulty kettle (the first kettle was broken and the second one caused a power outage)

Location opposite Northfields tube station is excellent however you will be aware of the trains if your room is trackside as the building is right next to the tracks. We had a good size fridge which is handy as there are plenty of places nearby to pick up groceries and use of a microwave was handy. The staff on reception are fabulous. Very helpful, informative, always friendly and well presented.

We didn’t love the bathroom layout. The toilet is a few inches from the wall and there is a heated towel rail on that same wall. If you have reduced mobility or aren’t particularly slender, you may find getting in and out the shower difficult as the opening is quite narrow. We noticed that it was easy to feel the mattress through the bottom sheet. We thought a mattress protector ( or a thicker one) would have made a huge difference and would make the bed more comfortable.

The staff are hospitable and accommodating. It a suitable little hotel that is conveniently suited to Heathrow and the metro. I like it for a London. It’s clean and fresh inside. Please note this hotel is about a 8.5/8.6/8.7 rating but Booking.com gives my rating a 8.

The hotel was doing construction work that started at 8h00 so I awoke to terrible banging on my head. This is very inconsiderate when guests are sleeping. I phoned the front desk and asked them to stop it for a while so I could sleep and they did. The staff and cleanliness make this a great little place to stay in London.

I have to say I was not expecting the fabulous accommodations when I reserved this hotel. I was simply staying out of convenience to my son's home and traveling on my own. I liked that it is directly across the street from Northfields tube, on the Piccadilly Line; easy access to everywhere. However, when I got to my room, I was greatly surprised. It was huge, redone, 3 beds, a lovely desk; plenty of room for me for hair care and vanity. It had a kitchenette, and was next door to the breakfast room. The breakfast was beyond the normal cold buffet that is standard for this grade hotel. Cheeses, hams, cereals, yogurts, coffees, teas etc....Really lovely. The bed was more comfortable than I've had in higher standard hotels. The walk in shower was wonderful; hot, roomy, great pressure... and a heated towel bar. I've taken the time to write this lengthy review because I feel more often people focus on the negative comments rather than the positive.The staff were lovely and helpful and friendly. As I visit my family often...I will definitely be returning to this surprising establishment. :}

The staff was absolutely amazing. A special thank you for all your help and recommendations! Room and bathroom were huge and very comfortable compared to other hotels i've stayed in London. We had a room facing the back lot so it was quiet. Location was great - tube station right in front of the hotel, on the Piccadilly line. Sainsbury and a coffee shop 2 minutes away.

The window blind could not be lifted and cleaning was not done throughout our stay (5 nights) with the exception of emptying the bins.
