The location was fantastic. When we first got there and got checked in, we realized there were lots of people there. When we got to our room, our A/C didn't work. By this time, a different girl was at the desk. I wish I'd gotten her name. She was fantastic. Anyway, she let us know she'd find us a different room bc she didn't have maintenance (or any help) that busy Friday. I offered to come downstairs bc we knew she was alone and couldn't easily come to us. (She seemed surprised we'd offer.) Anyhow, we went down and she was helping multiple people so it took a while to help us. She thanked us for waiting and being nice about everything and then she upgraded us to a balcony room overlooking the bay! It was incredibly beautiful. The room was perfect. The next morning at checkout, we made sure to give her praise. We also were able to park in the far lot for the week for a cruise we took. The location was kind of hidden so we felt great about it. Everything was great and our car was in the same spot 8 days later. If we're ever in the area or cruise from Mobile again, I'd stay in a heartbeat.

Breakfast wasn't great, but that wasn't a deal-breaker.

Location was convenient for the reason we were there. Staff was friendly, polite, and helpful.

We were there 2 nights. We had breakfast in the 8-9 am time frame both days while the dining area was full and busy. The "hot" breakfast was cold both days. The first day, we had a power outage due to a storm. Power came back on sometime between 7-7:30 am. We thought that might have something to do with breakfast being cold the first day. Apparently, not since it was cold the next day, too. The hallway on our floor smelled like a wet dog. Not sure what was causing the odor. We have stayed in a lot of Hampton hotels. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable at this one. Not what we expected based on the others we stayed at.

We could see an alligator in the water when we went to our car in the parking lot. How cool is that? Sadly, we were there to be close to a hospital, but the hotel is near several towns with interesting things to do. This is a dog friendly hotel, and we loved meeting the dogs and their people. The staff was so helpful and kind, even giving us a little care package and card when they learned that we had a death in our family.

Not a problem for us, but non-animal people might notice a smell.

I love the breakfast ver much the lady who cook the breakfast was soo sweet she knew we were from out of town an came over made my family very welcome felt like family I told her she makes the best grits Tge guy who work the front desk was very nice I call him to inform him we were traveling from new orleans and were running late he assure us we can check in an out rom will be available He was soo friendly It made my day after a few rough hours on the road with my husband and kids I have family in monroe But every time we visit we will be staying here Bonus my kids enjoy the pool give the breakfast lady a raise she was the best

The room was cool when we arrived, and they let us check in a little early. The staff was always great.

The swimming pool didn't have loungers and only had two tables with awnings. Loungers are essential at a pool. Our room was missing a chair. Your only seating was on the bed or in the desk chair. The reading lamp was there but no chair.

The remaining staff were friendly and accommodating. This hotel was in such a central location to what we needed, it was truly the best option for our stay.

The breakfast lady was less than enthused to refill stuff upon being told certain things were out. The beds were also a little too hard and firm that I ended up getting a sore back.

liked everything, but wish your establishment would bring back the afternoon refreshments, sometimes live music, people cooking you used to do. This was a determining factor in where we decided to stay. This made your establishment have an edge over other hotels in the area.

The room was clean and neat. They had everything necessary for a good nights stay. The only problem we had was the heater. It would blast cold air for 10-15 mins and then get warm. I called the front desk and they moved us to another room. The breakfast was nice and had lots of variety. The coffee- available all day was the best.

The heating system could have been better.

Loved the full size soaps and lotions with pumps that are attached to the walls. How convenient! Also I love having liquid hand soap which is so rare in a mid-lower class hotel. (We splurged a little staying here) breakfast was great. No complaints about the rooms. Location was fun! Saw an alligator in the water outside, and walked the board walk. Lots of interesting wildlife.
