Breakfast was awesome and the location was exactly what we wanted for the night on our way to Outerbanks NC

We arrived just before dinner, possibly suggest some restaurants if we were looking for somewhere to go. We went to a chain restaurant because we thought that was safe but didn't turn out very good.

Beds and pillows were comfortable, room was clean loved the shampoo and body wash system and the breakfast was exceptional. We are usually Marriot frequent stayers but i have to this hotel was Marriot comparable with a better breakfast. Will be back again definitely.

I can’t think of anything our stay was perfect

Its location! I can walk to KFC, Ruby Tuesdays, Dominoes, or Walmart shopping center. Mcdonald's & Hardee's is close by as well.

There was nothing about the hotel that i didn't like We have stayed here other times before. Maybe the kids in the room above us could have waited until a little later in the morning before they had recess.

The pillows were great. The bed was comfortable but there was a ridge in the middle not good for cuddling.

The TV stations were terrible. The selections were very limited. The air conditioner did not seem to work well the temp was wrong. The chair in the room had black stains. The window did not open.

I always use Holiday Inn Express hotels for my travel needs. Rooms are always first class, beds are always clean and comfortable and amenities are always top quality

We were traveling with 3 small children and were hoping to let them unleash some energy in the pool, but it was closed & I'm sure it was due to the COVID virus. That's understandable, but hopefully soon this can be resolved. Pools are heavily sanitized, and safety could certainly be assured by extra cleanliness in and around the pool area. We were also disappointed by there being no seating in the breakfast area. Once again caused by COVID, but it might be time to reassess these measures. Again, with 3 small children, eating in our room was very inconvenient, and caused extra trash and mess for the cleaning staff.

coffee is good. breakfast is awesome. chobani yoghurt, egg and omelet, toast and bagel, pastry and fruit. better than all other hotels that are at same price level. worth the money.

I thought the staff was knowledgeable and friendly, the room was in a quiet location, the instructions for the tv were great and the breakfast was wonderful! Food and coffee were hot!

No suggestions for improvement.

The breakfast was good including a variety of choices. The staff was friendly and helpful while serving us due to the COVID-19 restrictions. The area was immaculate. On another note, the bed was comfortable.

Extending the breakfast hours would be helpful for visitors not able to get there by 10:00 am. We were not able to get the television to work properly and there were no directions to troubleshoot.

no eggs w/out something in them. I was hopeful when i saw the refrigerator that there would be hard boiled but there were none
