The hotel is centrally located in town, so we didn't have to travel far to get to dining or shopping. The cleaning staff did an excellent job, and my 9-year-old loved the pool. The room also had a mini fridge and microwave, which was a money-saver.

Everyone in our party (2 adults, 1 child) felt the beds were uncomfortable. The mattresses sit on a flat, black metal "frame" and it just made getting comfy extremely difficult. Other than that, we had no complaints.

Very comfortable room and well lit. Nice king size bed. Very nice room furnishings. Good location. Very convenient to local attractions and shopping. You could actually walk to most things if you wanted to. We only drove to the nature reserve , the marina and Wallops Island, other than that everything else was within walking distance. Staff was cordial and friendly. Room was very clean overall even under bed and furniture. There are plenty of places to rent bikes, scooters and golf carts if you don't want to take your car. We walked as much as possible to avoid loosing our parking space at the hotel.

Room had some minor maintenance issues. Peeling paint on some wood trim around bathroom door, spots on bathroom wall and carpet although vacuumed well was in need of a good steam cleaning. Parking lot is gravel and there is not really enough parking for everyone when the hotel is full. Ceiling in need of repair at the sink areas off the main bedroom.

The area was fun to walk around and drive through. Locals are very friendly, with food from Capt Zacks and Mr Baldys with Ms Billie as our waitress, she's the best ! Wonderful time and seeing the ponies grazing! My wish to see from a little girl! We'll be back !!! The bestest part was spending it with our wonderful friends and all of us enjoying the history behind Chincoteague island 🧡.

I hated to leave to go back to Delaware , we loved everything about it!!

Rooms clean but dated. Door didn’t seal when closed. Light came from top and side. Lock did work. Microwave and small refrigerator in bathroom. Comfortable beds. Coffee maker had terrible coffee 😱 Kids loved the pool. Captain Zakes restaurant across the street and Island Creamery around corner. The recommended Saltwater pony and dolphin water tour of Assateague was wonderful.

Didn’t like that the room door wasn’t fitted.

Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, provided amenities, bathroom, furniture, flooring are in a good condition, good value, good internet.

need some touches- replace badly stained shower curtain, fix shower facet direction, cold water on the red color and vice versa, blankets are worn out, need cleaning inside freezer there is a spill, can consider replacing the fridge, has a rust outside.

This property was clean and comfortable! The girls cleaned daily and when I say cleaned I mean cleaned! Swept floors, made beds cleaned tubs and toilets restocked soaps coffee cups you name it they did it all! We wish we had known about the outdoor gazebo on day one because it is perfect with a fridge ice machine stove and grills for guests to use! Perfect to make your own meals and save $ we will be back!

Chincoteague Inn saved us! We ended up checking in a day early because the hotel at the previous stop on our road trip was unsafe to stay in, and they were around in the evening and had a vacancy and were able to check us in. The hotel is in a great location, plenty of parking and walkable to a lot of local amenities. It's about a 10 minute drive to the harbor or Assateague Island. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious.

The sink was in the regular room and not in the bathroom, which makes it loud if it's needed in the middle of the night.

Best parts of staying here for us is the 'blue gazebo' in back -it's always ready to bring in a batch of steamed crabs to eat, and supplies for cleaning up the mess afterwards!

Sink had the same problems it had last year (we always stay in the same room)-stopper is broken, knob for turning water off and on is almost unusable. Staying for a week, this becomes really tiresome. Toilet overflowed the first morning.

It was clean, comfortable and in a great location. We could walk to shops and restaurants. We also rode our bikes to the refuge. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was nice. Overall a wonderful value.

Bed was firmer than I prefer and bathroom is tight- but the sink is separate- which is a plus.

the towels were super small. couldn't wrap around my own body. perfect for a toddler. also either put more than one trash can in a room or get bigger trash cans. we put our trash into grocery bags around the trash can. felt bad leaving it that way for the housekeepers but it was better than leaving it all over the place.
