Lovely clean, spacious accommodation

The pool shut to early, I asked the leisure people and they told me 6pm as did it say on the door. I went for a hot tub in the morning and it wasn’t working so came back for 5pm for one and it was shut

Great 2 bedroom house with loads of space

The size of our flat was great, kichen was well equipped, the staff was very nice. Also the location and setting is very pretty. We had a new years meal in the restaurant which we really enjoyed.

The flat was not clean, with spider webs, hair in the bathroom and we had a infestation of fruit flys in the living room. I was told this was not the first time they had this issue in that flat (owl). The lights were full with dead flys too. I complained and the send the cleaner very quick but they did not clean properly, used a spray with the flys and when we went back to the flat we had dead flys every where.

Accomodation exceeded our expectations. Two bathrooms, dishwasher, washing machine etc all included which we didn't realise would be included. Staff were all incredibly helpful, friendly, quick to respond when we messaged them.

Found the security deposit a little stressful - but it was refunded promptly with no issues.

The location was great. Peacocks everywhere and house was big enough to accommodate 6 people.

Staff need to be polite. Also, towels were not sufficient, and we were asked to clean towels in washing machines before using them. Strange... who goes on holidays and asked by resort to clean towels 😂

The staff at Woodford Bridge are so helpful and friendly and were able to check us in when we arrived late (just before 10 PM). We were also upgraded to a lodge instead of the apartment we booked which was absolutely incredible and perfect for our 6-day stay. The food at the on-site restaurant is also one of the best meals we've had in a really long time (I had the duck ragu which was phenomenal and my partner had the venison steak which was also incredible). The land that Woodford Bridge Country Club is located on is utterly beautiful and while it is very remote, it's not too far from nearby villages and supermarkets (Waitrose is just a 15-minute drive away). The swimming pool and leisure facilities are great and the little on-site deli shop has delicious produce such as freshly baked sourdough bread, eggs, bacon, sausages, steak and more. There are also dozens of peacocks everywhere who come and visit the accommodation every day which was so lovely!

There wasn't much I would change about Woodford Bridge at all! The location is a little remote if you prefer to be closer to bigger towns, but it really didn't bother us too much at all.

This is a gem of a country club resort . Staff are in regular contact , texting daily to make sure everything is okay as well as promoting get together activities for those who wish to join in .There is a nice and well heated swimming pool on the resort . There is scope for improvement of the changing facilities whilst we’ve observed the pool area has steadily improved . Our holiday bungalow was spotless , very comfortable with everything you could wish for and so easy to relax in ; there is a walk in shower as well as a bath , lots of storage including a walk in wardrobe and the kitchen not only has full cooking facilities it has a dishwasher and washing machine . Despite the poor weather we had a relaxing holiday .

Improvement needed of facilities such as changing room and steam room . Ideally advise guests about the charging for a pool towel before their holidays so they can bring their own .

The location is nice and quiet, and the staff are friendly. I have visited about 5 times now and like it. The property is well kitted out with everything you need and you can always ask if you think something is missing that you require. The site also offers free WiFi. Peacocks are roaming freely in the grounds which is unique and the kids love them. A couple of nights a week, there's kids' entertainment, bingo, etc. (Maybe if the prizes were bigger than a bag of sweets, more people would turn up).

There is never a day when all the facilities in the Pool area are all working together, the Sauna is out of order more than it is working, and the Jacuzzi always seems to be having a chemical rebalance (do it at night, not when you are open), and there was a bad smell in the changing rooms, and the steam room as tiles missing which makes it look run down and unkept,

The country club was a collection of quaint cottage like/ lodge / houses. It’s all very pretty, arranged on a V-valley side, joined together by pretty, landscaped gardens and home to several mature peacocks. The property was warm, cosy, clean and modern; with every home item imaginable, a fully fitted kitchen, complete with washing machine (loved that after a wet day at the beach), extra blankets and pillows.

Parking a long car was difficult; there was parking available at the house but to get off the site, one had to reverse approx 500m to a suitable turning point. There was alternative parking some distance away, but this isn’t particularly accessible for people with mobility issues. Small cars should be fine, but large cars, cars with limited visibility or new drivers may struggle here.
