Fantastic shower and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Clean. Fab high, wood-beamed ceiling. Ideal location (tip: when you see Burger King you're almost at the hotel - it's half a minute away). Friendly proprietor. Good value for money and a great location to explore lovely, (mostly) car-free Pontevedra. Another tip: If you're walking to the centre from the train/bus station, there's a largely pedestrianised street to the left of and parallel to the (traffic-heavy) main road that goes to the centre.

Explosive noise doors make when closing (courtyard-facing room was nice and quiet, though).

A great little hotel right on the Camino. Lots of character, spotlessly clean, lovely bathroom with great shower. A warm welcome and a large bottle of water (very welcome after a long walk). We slept well as the room was well ventilated and a fan was already switched on there. Our room had little natural light as it looked into an internal space but on the other hand it was very quiet. Our bags had arrived through the Correos service and had kindly been placed in our room. Breakfast in the adjoining cafe was very pleasant.

Heaps of historical character in the deluxe room we booked. Loved the underfloor heating, especially in the bathroom, the first time we'd experienced this after some cold nights spent in accommodation along the Camino. The room was well equipped with lounge seating and a fridge. There was no overspray from the shower onto the bathroom floor with a well sealed shower recess. Our host explained the key and security card facility carefully to us and was very caring despite our limited understanding of Spanish. Cafe downstairs opened early to cater for Pilgrims.

Hotel Boa Vila was so cute -- the woman at the front desk was so welcoming, and let us keep our bags at the front desk since we arrived early, and she even brought them to our room when the reservation was ready. The room was a comfortable size, had very comfortable beds, had a private bathroom, and was in the heart of Ponte Vedra (and along the route for the Portuguese Way).

There was nothing I didn't like -- Pontevedra is a hidden gem in Spain, with wonderful food, more wonderful Spanish people, beautiful beaches, and great shopping!

We loved it here! We had a beautiful room with modern appointments and old stone walls. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom chic. Don't let the crowded, somewhat dingy entry put you off. We can only comment on the room we occupied, but it was lovely and characterful. The location was perfect. The hotel is smack in the middle of the old town, steps from everything you'll want to see. There are dozens of restaurants nearby. Despite this, our room was quiet at night and we slept really well.

We stayed here on our Camino. The rooms are outstanding. Very beautiful. We were greeted by a sweet woman who seemed in charge of the property. She gave us a huge bottle of cold water; very refreshing after a long day of walking in the sun. The room had two cooling fans. We had a double bed and a pullout sofa, but there was no bedding for the sofa. As we are only friends, we didn’t wish to share a bed. When I went to ask the host for bedding, she came up and insisted on bringing a nice mattress to put on the sofa so I would be comfortable. She went above and beyond to see to our comfort. I highly recommend this place to all weary travelers.

Location is in the historic center, right on the Camino. Very convenient. Room was small but comfortable.

There was a small cafe on site but the only time it was open when we needed it was when we checked out. We got coffee and for some reason the proprietor did not make us pay (which was nice). We had a problem later though when we received notice that we had left without paying the hotel bill. No one asked for payment either when we arrived or left and they should have had our credit card through Booking.com. We straightened it out and I emailed my credit card number to them. They apologized and said it had been a mistake on their part.

The location was prime, close to everything and on the pilgrim trail. The room we had was huge with a sleeping area and a sitting area. It had been pouring rain for the whole walk from Redondela and the room even had a couple fans to help dry our soaked clothes. There was a huge variety of restaurants within steps of the hotel! It is an old building but it was in lovely!

Our desk clerks were so welcoming and helpful!!!! The location is near the church on a quiet, narrow street. The apt had a refrigerator, laundry, bike storage, and our room had a seating area so lots of room. We also had a fan, while it blew hard, it was nice to have. The room is terms of decor but it has lots of storage/horizontal space which is often difficult to find in rentals. We would highly recommend this place! The best feature was a 12pm check out!!!!!!!!

Our room shared an atrium/lightwell and when windows were open we could really hear our neighbors.

The front desk staff were super nice and accommodating to our requests (taxi, extra water, help with washer and dryer). The location cannot be beat. It’s right on the old section and walking distance to the Pontevedra church and restaurants. It’s also right on the Camino Portuguese trail so you can see when pilgrims start walking in the morning.

The walls are a little thin and we could hear our next door occupants when they checked in but we were so tired from the Camino we slept very soundly at night.
