We had a last minute check in on a Saturday and the booking & check in process was seamless! We were welcomed in our room with great care & friendliness and we had an amazing night's rest. The following morning our phones had died just after ordering an uber into town to where our car was (impromptu trip) and the hostess offered to drive us into town herself! The uber arrived 2 minutes later, but her attentiveness and generosity was amazing. Loved staying here - it was so tranquil and relaxing.

Would have loved something in the room to drink! Maybe bottled water, a small milk and coffee sachets.

Excellent hospitality! I arrived early due to my international flight arrival time and their team were extremely welcoming and accommodating. The room has everything you need to enjoy a comfortable stay as well as keeping you warm during the cold winter months. The WiFi is fast, the bed is comfortable and the breakfast is delicious - everything you need for a business traveller like myself.

The bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept on - the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful - I was given a glass of sherry in the evening and the breakfast was perfect and I highly recommend this guesthouse!

This was the last stop on our trip through South Africa marked by exceptional hospitality in general. Our stay at the Boord Guesthouse was one of many highlights and an absolute delight. The staff was incredibly considerate. We got up in the mornings to a delicious breakfast and came back from day trips in the evenings to a tidied room and ready beds. The whole guest house is very charming with a lot of attention paid to details like complimentary goodies, fresh flowers, crisp white bedding etc… The tastefully decorated interior and especially quiet little garden with pool offer nice spaces to retreat and relax. Big thanks to both the host and staff! We hope to be back and can definitely recommend.

room was clean, nice and comfortable. Nice shower. staff very professional and kind. breakfast was very good. The Guest house located in a safe area and we could park easily outside, just in front of the guest house. Nice to have a park with playgound few minutes walking distance.

From the photos I would expected the guest house to be more in the countryside, not with neightbours next to it...anyway it was not an issue at all.

The property was well decorated, and the rooms were spacious and wonderful to stay in! It was very clean, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and caring!

A little bit of maintenance is required on the windows, one glass pane fell out due to dried up putty

Greeting by Rashied was excellent and professional. bedroom was clean and lovely. so was bathroom. lots of nice towels and spoils. turndown was surprising - but a lovely touch thank you the breakfast choice was excellent and the hot meal well prepared and tasty. Rashied went over and beyond in getting me an uber.

the keys! yoh those keys. I really battled with them. there are too many similar ones on the bunch. perhaps upgrade to card access. They were heavy to carry around in my bag.

They gave us hot water bottles each night. They helped us carry our luggage when we checked in and out.Chocolates were placed on our beds when they made it. (cute gestures). Wi-Fi worked despite of loadshedding.

Aircon did not work. Heater also did not sufficiently warm the room. Had to buy our own wood to heat the room by means of the fireplace.

The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. Location is nice and quiet, but a bit far apart from downtown. The service is excellent! Good breakfast

The bathroom is not the best, but it’s a minor detail.
