We liked that it was located within the heart of the city, which is alive with people each evening. The hotel was fine, the staff fine, the room as described. The public car parking nearby we had multiple options, so always found a vacancy. We didn't pay for breakfast so cannot comment on this. Needed more than 2 nights to see all that Fukuoka has to offer! We drove to the island of Katsuma which was a nice drive!

We had a large item to discard but they could not help us, so had to discard it elsewhere, which was our nice car rental company! Bins are hard to find as it is but a large item is impossible! Understanding this would have helped us at the hotel.

Very central location, 5min walking distance from Canal City. Normal sized room with very comfortable bed. WiFi worked well. Good amenities offered. We were able to leave our bags in the hotel before check-in and after check-out. Very friendly staff. The optional breakfast was definitely worth the price! Would stay here again.

The hotel is new and clean. Location is great. Several restaurants nearby and close to tenjin-minami station. About 10min-walk to tenjin. Good choice if have a shopping plan. Also easy trip to dazaihu.

Only accessible to Fukuoka airport’s domestic terminal by airport line from tenjin station or needs a transfer. Recommend taking taxi to the international terminal.

The location was great - Canal city is just around the corner, and there are plenty of restaurants and grocery stores in the vicinity. The rooms were a bit spacious than the typical Japanese hotel room, and it was very clean. We appreciated free access to the (small, but functional) fitness centre on the 2nd floor. It only had three machines, but was by reservation only, so you could freely use them for an hour.

An additional city tax is charged in Fukuoka that was not stated in the original booking price, which we needed to pay upfront when we checked in. This is fine, but it would have been better to be warned about this before arriving/upon booking. The charge is 200JPY per person per night, so while it isn’t much, it can certainly add up!

Property is close to the main road that connects Canal City to the Tenjin/Daimyo area. Lots of places to shop and eat, to include the underground mall towards Tenjin. The room was a good size for me and my significant other. The room was good temperature and we were able to control the temperature to make it colder. Room had blackout curtains which was also really nice! Bathroom was a good size and items such as razors, toothbrushes, hair brushes, etc. we’re available by the front desk and free water was offered in the hallway on the way to the elevators. Staff is very quick with check in and friendly, ado knows English!

The staff were easy to talk to and spoke English with proficiency. The room was spacious and had somewhat of a view! Checkout was as simple as dropping off the keycards. I hardly needed to slow down on the way out.

You can tell I had a good stay by the trivialities in the negative section: I could not fit under the shower without having to bend down to wash my hair. The bedsheet wasn't quite long enough and came loose at the corner of the bed. There was a chip on my coffee cup!

Room was bigger than the average Japanese hotel room. Daily housekeeping was very much appreciated and we had an overall good experience.

In July/August (when we were travelling) the 10ish minute walk from the train station was very very hot - that was the only flaw.

We stayed for one night first and went to Kumamoto and stayed two more nights when we came back. Great location, it’s is within walking distance to the Tenjin Shopping District but still has its quietness. Plenty of small restaurants close by. The room is definitely spacious according to Japanese standards. Staff all speak good English.

Wish they have their own parking options.

I stayed for a week and it was fabulous. I thought the room was a good size and it was very very quiet. I found the staff to be helpful and nice. These things meant I had a fabulous week. The hotel was in a great location and I had no trouble getting about and onto the subway, train or bus.

Hotel is nicely located in a lively area and pretty close to the metro station connected to the city train station. Breakfast included both continental and japanese options.

The ventilation grills in the room looked pretty dusty. Bathroom door is acoustically transparent, not very nice for the privacy, but that's pretty common to the hotels in Japan I've stayed in.
