It's convenient to get to Ueno station and I like the style of the place. All of the usual extras are there (towel, hair dryer, shower toiletries, ear plugs etc.) and the beds were very comfy.

The lounge area is small and the kitchen facilities are very basic - you can reheat a meal, get hot and cold water, but that's about it. There is only a small locker above each bed, not even big enough for a handbag. The floor gets a bit crowded with luggage and you have to make a judgement call whether your items are safe to be left whilst you go outside (mine were).

The location was great, very close to Ueno Station. The bed was comfortable, the other guests were respectfully quiet. Having access to laundry was very helpful, as well (keep in mind that you will need a few ¥100 coins). Everything was also very clean!

I wish that the hotel had some large lockers to store luggage or even a backpack (the only secure storage was the small lock box in the capsule room; the front desk could also take larger items if needed, but I would have preferred a locker). Also, the room with all of the capsule beds was a bit too warm.

I stayed here for 12 nights and had an overall pleasant experience. It’s a well-maintained capsule hotel, and everyone in the female dorm was very respectful, which made the stay even better. The bathrooms were cleaned daily, had hot water in the showers, and there were plenty of free amenities, the hair dryer was used a lot by us women. The capsules were comfortable with a good temperature, a good mattress, and blinds for privacy. However, the pillow could be a bit softer. A good amount of plugs to charge devices and a cute little safe for small valuables. Downstairs there are two vending machines with hot and cold drinks available to purchase anytime. They have a water heater and a microwave to cook food. There are also multiple refrigerators to store food with a good labelling system with your name and check-out date so food doesn't get left there to go bad after someone leaves. The common area is nice and chill when there aren't many people in there, and it's great that they have lots of plugs so you can bring your laptop down there and work. The free rental umbrellas were also super helpful when it rained! The hotel is in a prime location with only a 5-minute walk from Ueno Station!

My only issue was the lack of storage space. I think the hotel needs to have lockers to safely store your belongings, there isn't much room to put luggage which meant I had to sleep with my bags, which wasn't ideal but something I got used to. Also, there’s only one hook with a hanger in the capsule, so if you hang up a shirt, there’s nowhere to put your wet towel.

I liked the bed I slept on. The hot showers I could take at night. The electronic toilets. The vending machines to buy snacks and drinks. And the kind receptionists that were able to speak English to help me.

When some guests had their phone alarm on for a long time and later came to turn it off.

very modern capsules with working fans and plenty of outlets. 2 electrical plugs and 2 USB plugs comfortable mattress and blankets. Staff all spoke English and are super friendly. Lobby is very nice and has a refrigerator to store all your drinks and food. Even has a Foosball table for entertainment with friends and family. Convenient location, very close to the Ueno park, zoo, and museums. About a 10 minute walk to the Ueno station. Plenty of food locations nearby. The restrooms were very clean with 2 toilets and 2 showers on my floor. Shampoo and conditioner were good and didn't leave you all dried out. I will definitely be staying here again on my future trip.

The pillow was a little hard, I had to use 2 sweaters bundled up.

Stayed here for 3 nights towards the end of my trip in Tokyo and it exceeded all expectations for the low price I paid. Ueno is a 5 min walk (use Iriya exit NOT panda bridge as google suggests). I had a lower bunk in the female dorm and it was really comfortable, although there's not much space for luggage. The bathroom inside the dorm was great, never had to wait for a shower. The staff are also really nice and helpful. If you are using the washing machines, there is an automated coin laundry 10 min walk away that has huge dryers which are cheaper and more effective.

For the price, there's really nothing to complain about. It's very close to JR Ueno Station.

For some reason, there are a lot of water droplets on the walls in the morning. If you stay in the room at the very end and hang your coat on the wall, it will get completely soaked. The shoe cabinet smells terrible and doesn't have enough space, so everyone ends up leaving their shoes outside.

The capsule hotel is smaller than most others which means it feels very chilled. The best part about it is the quietness of the location. It's down a little lane so there's no traffic or street noise or lighting which can affect your stay at places in Tokyo. The neighbourhood is very local and just amazing and calm - so different to Shinjuku etc. The bathrooms are very comfortable and the place is clean. Also the best hostel to get to Senso-Ji temple.

Because it is small there are minimal staff most of the time (just one when its not cleaning times) but it doesn't pose much of a problem, they are really helpful where they can be.. If it a 10 minute walk from the closest main station, but the beautiful walk through the local quiet neighbourhood very much makes up for it and is a great change from the rest of Tokyo (Shinjuku etc). Not a place for socialising however. For a solo traveller you won't really meet anyone here, because there is not really any social space. Great for my first days in Tokyo where I just wanted to sightsee the city.

The place was quiet and clean. The staff were amazing. The sleeping area is soundproof. You can't hear others around you. The bathrooms are clean, and they have enough stalls so no waiting to use the showers. Oh and the beds are really nice and comfortable, I had the best sleep there. And the pillows are just amazing.

Nothing best stay. If you are a solo traveller. I recommend this place. It's safe, and the location is easy to move around from.

The hotel is a great place to start your trip to Tokyo if you're coming from Narita airport, you can get there directly with the skyliner. Ueno station is fairly well connected to all areas. Has a small smoking alcove and you can enter the hotel through there even after they close the main entrance.

If you're not tall or great at climbing, book a lower bed. Getting up there can prove tricky. Also, there are no lockers, you can only leave your bagas at the reception.
