The location was perfect.

The constant fire alarm was really annoying. Having a good sleep when you’re exploring a city all day is pretty crucial.

Room 2405 location was perfect, love the floor to ceiling windows and view. Bed was very comfortable and clean. I wish there was a mini fridge, storage is minimal but appreciated the modern look. I really loved the $30 daily credit to use at downstairs coffee shop the staff is great and treats in case are delicious. Location of hotel is great with a lot of good dining options nearby. In their website hotel states there is no daily housekeeping unless requested but that is not the case we had daily house cleaning without asking which I appreciate, afterall when on vacation and paying for a hotel I like having my room cleaned.

a mini fridge would be really nice to have in room, but otherwise we enjoyed our stay very much

Easy to get everywhere we needed to. Friendly informative team Great bar/café Amazing views

$30 added to my bill every day and described as $30 complimentary spend at the cafe. I felt obliged to use the cafe to spend it. This should have been an option not a requirement and was not advertised prior to my arrival. The neighbourhood was not great if you turned right out of the hotel. Lot of scaffolding hiding folk who were a bit intimidating/drinking/high/collapsed. Absolutely brilliant location if you turned left straight onto 6th ave.

I ended up having a room with two queen beds at the 33rd floor. Views were amazing. It was nice to have a rooftop bar available. Beds were very comfortable.

Price and booking experience were not that transparent, there was a 30 dollars extra per day (credit to be used for breakfast) that was not clear whether was paid with the original booking or not, and they were trying to charge my card as a guarantee for these extra costs but without telling it in advance. This was a bit messy.

This hotel was the best hotel my wife and I have ever stayed at! We messaged the hotel ahead of time to let them know we wanted a room with a view because it was our anniversary trip to NYC. They exceeded that by giving us a skyline view on the 28th floor and even laid out roses, candle lights, had romantic music playing on the tv, and had towel swans in the shape of a heart. The fleur room at the top has 360 views of the city with great music and themes. It’s a 20 minute walk from Times Square so you are close but far enough from all the commotion. The cafe at the ground level was really good each morning as well. The staff is absolutely amazing and will make you feel exceptionally welcome. Also, there is a 7/11 just down the block to get everything you need. If you’re visiting NYC then Moxy Chelsea is the place to stay!

Moxy hotels are always well located and the rooms are always groovy with some thoughtful touches.

Moxy rooms are always compact no matter which city you stay in (eg no room to leave suitcases open). They tend to put grooviness over function in the rooms so sometimes feel a little misjudged in their design decisions, eg putting a huge old style telephone on a tiny nightstand so there's not much room for anything else. The biggest issue with Moxy rooms is the lack of privacy when using the bathroom - your partner can hear everything through the thin glass sliding door

The ground floor cafe was convenient and the free coffee also welcome in the mornings. Although small the rooms were perfectly kitted out. The level 2 lounge space had a nice vibe and great for a night cap.

It was a shame that the lounge bar was closed on Sundays and Mondays but really glad the ground floor cafe doubled up as a bar in the evening. Also a shame that the roof top bar is a separately owned club, it would have been good as a hotel guest to be able to enjoy a drink there without having to queue on the street with walk-ups.

We were lucky to have a room with a view of the Empire State building. It was really fascinating. There were some miscommunication about the destination fee and how we should spend it, so the were really nice to not charge that amount to us. The design of the room was very cute and nice.

The rooftop is not easily accessible, it closes early in my opinion . The destination fee is a little bit confusing, they say you have 24 hours but actually it is not like that, you need to spend it on the day, it is not transferable to the next day which is not logical because if you check in very early or late, the cafe or bar is closed so you can not spend it and it wont be transfered to the other day.

The location is excellent, it was particularly convenient for what we needed it for, but in general it's a great base to explore the city. I liked having a city view from the room. It gets very lively in the evenings, which we sadly didn't partake in. But seems like it would be a great place for an evening drink! And amazingly you can't hear any of it from the rooms.

The rooms are tiny, with no closet space. Although that is to be expected in a city like New York. The sealant was hanging off our shower cubicle, and water ran into the toilet after showering. They also didn't seem to vacuum or sweep the floor during house keeping, which ended up being pretty dirty. It's been particularly bad for us coming from the UK due to the £ being so bad, but it's very expensive for what it is. And then you get a "resort fee" added on. So it ends up being pretty overpriced! The staff in the coffee shop downstairs are pretty unfriendly.

Hello. I have been choosing a hotel for a long time, I liked the design - photos of the hotel and rooms. In reality, everything is very good, the hotel is not big but very cozy and comfortable, good located. I really liked the cosmetics in the shower (in the rooms) of good quality.

A bar with a gorgeous view on the 35th floor, but they didn’t let us in with the child, even for a couple of minutes, just to take a photo, such rules, until the age of 21 they are not allowed into the panoramic bar. This is a little unfair, because on the second floor at 7 pm we could go in and drink juice with our son, but on the 35th floor we can’t.
