Everything, this is the first time when I was extremely happy about everything in a hotel. The size of the rooms, how new and clean the rooms are. Beds and pillows are comfortable, cleaning is done to the highest standard, rooms are quiet. Location is excellent, walking distance to all Manhattan "must-sees", also the tube is very nearby to get to Brooklyn, Downton fast. Could not reccomend it higher enough.

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfy! which is very rare for hotels

I did not like the fact that they charged me a resort fee of 88$ for 2 nights at the end...This is something that should be disclosed BEFORE the stay when you book them (most hotels do so on their websites) or at least during the checkin process, but no of course they did not do any of that and instead charged me at the checkout. I wouldn't have chosen this hotel if I knew there would be an additional 88$ up charge. I will keep that in mind in the future but will not be staying here again.

The hotel staff was so amazing and accommodating. The hotel had a wonderful smell throughout and the rooms were good. The location was pretty central to a lot of the areas we wanted to explore. The hotel also held our suitcase after we checked out so we could walk around the city for the morning.

The shower head leaked and flooded my makeup bag, hair dryer and towels. There was also a dripping sound all night that came from the pipe in the mirror behind the bathroom. The beds could also be a little plusher but that's personal preference. Also parking was pretty expensive even with the sticker.

1- at check in: reception wasn’t welcoming. 2- at check out : a- wasn’t allowed for late check out (even if I pay extra) b- was told at the phone that I can only leave my luggage at hotel till 12 pm. (My flight was 7 pm), but the other receptionist allowed me to leave my luggage till 3 pm.

The hotel's pre-authorisation process went very wrong for us. We had paid in full for our accommodation many, many months previous to our arrival and yet mistakenly on our arrival, in addition to the usual hotel pre-authorisation on my card, unbeknown to us, a hold had also been put on the same full amount for our accommodation, which in effect resulted in my visa card being declined when we checked into our next hotel in Washington. Fortunately my wife had her visa card to get us by. We contacted Innside by Melia New York Nomad staff who were very apologetic but we were inconvenienced for more than a week until the funds were made available again on my visa card.

Great location and the hotel has a good vibe with friendly staff on the whole. This is the second time I have visited and the first time was a much better experience than this time.

Customer service in the restaurants was lacking. Waited 30 minutes for a yogurt and croissant and the waiter was as very rude. We were also forgotten about when we went for dinner one night and sat waiting for over 15 minutes before we could even place a drink order. It’s a very noisy hotel due to its central location so expect to be woken on several occasions through the night from noise outside.

Room located on the 1st floor only, no view Room very loud, could hear when other guest were coming home late at night or were leaving very early (doors banging etc.) Bed size ok, bed mattresses very soft (too soft) Bathroom size a bit small, though ok for the length of our stay, but very limited possibilities to hang towels which was quite annoying

The staff was terrific, the rooms were simple but more homely, and the location to anything you need in NY topped it off. Jason and Reception were excellent; they gave excellent advice on where to go shopping and ensured that I was taking care of it. There were free drinks in the room. It was a pleasant experience they also have a Resturant with indoor and outdoor dining. Another critical point is a had sufficient people on the desk, and they had a good way of being Ted tentative but Quick with responding to travellers to get the queue down

Location was good, it was quiet in the room. Elevators were efficient. Rooms had a good amount of floor space, given that we were midtown.

Bathroom needs more hooks and counter space. the beds were ok but I could feel every movement. The resort fee is a scam - a daily fee that gets you a couple of bottles of water, juice and a couple of coffee pods. I’d rather save the $45 and buy my coffee on the street. Also, the gym was ok but some of the equipment was broken. Finally, we had reservations for two rooms, but the hotel was only able to locate one. We waited about an hour for the staff to sort it out, which they were able to do, thankfully.

The location and interior design make this one of the best choices for a midtown New York Hotel. The desk staff were extremely helpful. When I asked for a room on a higher floor, Julio managed this, and having given me the wrong key when I got to the room I suddenly saw him bringing me the right key. Exceptional service.

More sockets in the room. More staff to clean the rooms. Can be slow given the small number of cleaners
