Everything was great. It was clean. The staff was helpful. The rooftop sauna was a great perk. No daily maid service which wasn’t important to us but might be to others.

The location was too far from most sights for us to walk so we had to use public transportation. It wasn’t a big deal but might be important to some travelers. It was a 15 minute walk to the ferry to Tallinn which is why we booked it.

We booked this apartment to attend a conference at the Cable factory during the summer of 2024. It was an ideal location. There were a few supermarkets and restaurants nearby. There is also some outdoor park area near the water, great for outdoor exercising. There were also trams nearby for easy access to the center of Helsinki. The apartment has a high standard, comfortable bed, practical kitchenette and great views. The hotel offers a gym, sauna and cafe.

The hotel provided us 2 pillows that were quite thin. When we asked for extra pillows, they charged us 5 euros extra per pillow. The sauna was lovely, but it was only open for 2 hours each day, and only allowed men only or women only on separate days. They should offer at least a few hours with mixed genders so friends and couples can enjoy it together. And finally, the bathroom has an automatic motion sensor light. It was uncomfortable having a glaring light turn on for nighttime bathroom visits.

The hotel is situated in a very nice, peaceful district that is modern, near to the water and not far away from the center. The tram station is a few steps from the hotel and then it’s about 10 mins by tram to the heart of Helsinki (=central railway station). There is also a metro station relatively nearby. The kitchen in the studio is sufficient, it has everything you need for preparing meal. The bathroom is well lit, there is a liquid soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, LOTS of towels (what a joy to be in a hotel where they finally give you enough of towels 🩷). The rooftop sauna is awesome, clean and you can take a rest on a wonderful balcony next to the sauna with a breathtaking view over the city. For 5€ they can sell you slippers at the reception, if you’d like to borrow a bathrobe, prepare 15€(!!). The breakfast is decent, but I actually preferred to prepare it on my own in my room. There is Lidl supermarket near the hotel so you can buy something for breakfast there. The bed is comfortable, I especially appreciated the bright lights adjusted to the bed. So every night before the sleep you can have a nice time while reading a book. The staff is helpful, friendly. The rooms are soundproof, there is a window you can open and get some air in. To sum it up, I had a nice stay.

I found two pieces of hair in the room. But well, that can happen. Much worse was the cleanliness of the matress that’s under the thin upper mattress you sleep on. There was a huge amount of dust, old food and dirt (and God knows what else) on the side which was close to the wall. Luckily the bed is wide enough so I slept as far away from that area as possible, but I was shocked (and, frankly, a bit disgusted) to see such a mattress in such a type of hotel.

This place is gorgeous, so well designed, super clean, with everything you need there for a short or long term stay. First time in Europe I’ve had a shower with doors to contain all the water. Kitchen utensils all present. Upstairs bed super comfy. Note you do have to go up and down very steep stairs to the bed. Downstairs sofa bed is far enough away from the loft that it feels like two separate rooms. Gym adequately stocked in the basement (no windows). Oh, and the bath towels and duvet were top notch! Evening separate gender sauna is included.

The location is +\- . It is a few stops by public transport to get to the main sights so a little less convenient. In exchange, that made it super peaceful. Sauna is divine and great to have separate gender hours. Only complaint is that sauna is only available for an hour in the evening, one hour for men and 1 hour for women. Would be nice to have salt/pepper/oil/coffee/tea in the room. There is a little cafe downstairs if you want to go down and buy a coffee though.

Apartment well equipped, clean. Staff very helpful. Laundry option quite handy. Great coffees purchasable at the reception. Calm location. Grocery stores in walking distance. Would visit again. Without booking breakfast :)

I recently stayed at UNITY Helsinki and had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. Their warmth and attentiveness made me feel right at home. The location is another major highlight. It's conveniently situated near public transport, making it easy to explore the city. Whether I wanted to visit local attractions or dine out, everything was just a short ride away. The rooms were impressively clean and well-equipped, providing all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. I appreciated the attention to detail in both cleanliness and functionality. Overall, I highly recommend UNITY Helsinki for anyone looking for a welcoming atmosphere, great location, and comfortable accommodations. I can’t wait to return!

Good location about 10 minutes by tram from the city centre. (The 9 or 9B from the central railway station to the stop Välimerenkatu/Medelhavsgatan. Both the Finnish and Swedish names are displayed on the tram). The hotel is 100m from the tram stop. They run every 5-10 minutes. There are supermarkets and restaurants near by. There is always someone on reception, with excellent English. The rooms are soundproof with everything you need.

Everything was great. I hadn't realised that the (very comfortable bed) was on a mezzanine floor, up some quite steep steps. This wasn't a problem for us but might be something to consider if you have a problem with stairs.

The bed was cozy, and the bathroom was spacious with modern fixtures. Ideally located, the hotel is just a short stroll from both a tram and bus stop, making city navigation effortless. The attentive staff was quick to respond to any requests, ensuring a seamless stay. Overall, a great blend of comfort, design, and excellent accessibility to public transportation, making for a truly enjoyable experience.

The only dark spot in an otherwise pleasant stay was the condition of the sofa; it felt less than inviting, and I would suggest considering a replacement or at least a cover for it.

Handy location, reasonable price and modern

Aircon did not work in one of our two rooms. The beds are small and the pillows are hopelessly soft. The kitchen is practically useless. They make you use an app to pay for the washing machines. The app, from Miele, is complicated, unstable and overly intrusive. You have to buy credits in advance which they promise to reimburse if unused. I am still waiting... I booked in March. I requested two rooms on the same floor. Yet in August they could do no better than offer me one room on the first floor and the other on the seventh! If you suffer from claustrophobia, this place is to be avoided! This place is ideal for young singles making extended visits to Helsinki for work. They should not be selling it to families on vacation.

I checked in with the app. The app said it will notify me when my room is ready, i was in Helsinki with the ship from Stockholm about 10am already and had to store my luggage in railway station. I went to the accommodation anyways and already at 1140 they said the room is ready, i was very happy and thankful, only a note maybe that the room readiness could also show up in the app so that people can plan their check in. It's already a great service that i was allowed in my room 3 to 4 hours in advance, but it also meant that i had to transport back and forth for the luggage, not a complaint really may be just a process optimisation :)
