Have had the breakfast on a previous stay and rate it as very good. For me - it is all about the staff at this hotel. It is my second stay and I am going back shortly - they help make things easier (storing luggage, making sure I know where I am headed, arranging taxis & tours, etc.) The fridge and microwave in each room I have seen makes longer stays a bit easier, have seen one with a full kitchen: no food smells!!!!

The facilities can seem a wee bit dated though the rooms are quite spacious, and the four I have seen all have lovely, large bathrooms. Not right in the center of urban and cultural activities, however I enjoy this uncomplicated environment with good dining and shopping options nearby.

The atrium balcony is the best architectural feature of the hotel. The earth-toned interior accentuated by amber light and green plants is very beautiful. The swimming pool area is grand vintage like an Esther Williams movie set. The room is quiet, clean, well-appointed. It has a mini kitchen, shower stall and bath, comfortable beds, wifi and cable TV. The staff of the hotel are professional and polite, very accommodating of our questions and requests. The experience is pleasant from inquiry to check-in, while enjoying the amenities, up to check-out. We hope to visit again.

The dreaded basement 4 & 5 parking requires skill. The jacuzzi temperature might be improved with the heat turned up.

Staff were nice and welcoming as you would come and go. A handful were super friendly, making you feel as if you were simply at home.

Rooms were smaller and not as advertised on booking.com. When we needed help with my wife's wallet being stolen, the hotel was not accommodating at all, so it made it very difficult for us to make a claim with our insurance. For the price you pay to stay with breakfast included, it is not worth it 😕 as the food was not the best and often cold and the restaurant food was overpriced and tasted as if the chef just heated it up in the microwave. In the swimming area, the spa was not working, and the water was cold. They advertised having a health and wellness center, which they didn't. In fact, it was a 10min walk away from the hotel. Will not be returning to this hotel.

Exceptional customer service provided by Ms. Mikee (front desk officer), Mr.JonRey (bell associate), Ms.Kristal and Ms.Zynd. Their customer-centered approach has truly made a difference during our stay. They go above and beyond to ensure that we are comfortable and made an effort to prepare a birthday banner, letter, balloons and a complimentary sliced cake for the birthday celebrator. I highly commend the said staff for their kindness and dedication in providing excellent care.

Minor details in room amenities e.g. floor stains in the living room area, inavailability of rice cooker.

The location was excellent, and the beds were very comfy and nice. The bath was also a nice way to relax after a long day of walking around, and the staff were very helpful and accomodating.

Some of the room’s amenities were a little bit outdated for the price I paid. The speaker was not compatible with any of our devices, the televisions were all old models (we thought they had smart TVs at least), and the bath’s faucet didn’t quite line up with the tub, so water got everywhere and we had to use the shower hose to fill up the tub. It’s not quite perfect, but since we’re out all day anyway, we didn’t mind it so much.

Our family was welcomed by none other than their famous porter Jonrey, who was very contentious and hospitable in every way and every time we encountered him, he would give us location advise and was truly a genuinely friendly person. The maintenance staff was also available straight away when we requested them to fix the roller blinds and curtains. The reception host Dimples was very helpful and was able to give us a late check out as our flight was scheduled late in the evening and she even sent us to the lunge to wait for our ride to the airport. We received complimentary drinks in the lounge and the staff was very hospitable to our guests who was there to say goodbye to us. We really enjoyed our first stay in Manila at Discovery Suites, the kids enjoyed the pool amenities as well. We also used Discovery for our final stay in Manila as it felt like coming home for a short while. Seeing familiar kind faces made it feel very comfortable.

At our first stay we were really impressed at how great the lobby and the foyers smelt, they had a very nice aroma to welcome the guest and it was very nice every time you walked into the hotel and walk around the rooms. The ambiance and smell of the hotel makes a lot of difference in making your stay feel comfortable, familiar and enjoyable. However during our last few days stay, the sweet aroma smell was no longer there. The smells were diffused and different and it seemed the air fresheners were not working and it smelt like as if you were outside of the hotel. The long stay guest laundry would probably need to be a larger size to match the large dryer as the people using this amenities would have larger loads to wash from their travels.

100/10 Experience!! We celebrated our 11th year couple anniversary here for a Staycation since we wanted to try out the fine dining experience. It exceeded my expectations! I booked a room here through booking.com and even messaged them that I will be celebrating my anniversary here and if its possible for them to pull off a simple surprise for my partner. They went the extra mile in printing a photo of us! Kudos to Ms. Krystal Gomas of making sure my request were taken care of! So sweet! ❤️ I absolutely love the polite, professional, and courteous staff! ALL of them! From the Front Office Team, Housekeeping, to the Engineering Team (Had a small issue with the tub but they reacted quick!). Even the lady from the exit parking smiled and thanked us! All of the staff are well trained! The room that I got was facing the Podium area and It was an amazing experience. The parking is also free!

I have 2 critisism: I hope they upgrade to smart TVs since they only have Cable channels (a bit old school). The parking area is a challenge. Tight driving spaces, good thing I drive a hatchback. Prepare to drive in hardcore mode difficulty lol.

I have stayed at this Hotel for almost 2 weeks and team was consistently genuinely helpful, kind and professional. If I had any questions or enquiries this was actioned instantly. Gym facility is amazing and very well maintained, I did not have a chance to use pool so unfortunately, I am not able to comment on it, however it looked well maintained as well. My room 1908 was very quiet even though it was facing the main street (Podium Mall Side). Room service is delicious. Amazing staff, well maintained hotel, superb location hence next time I am in Manila I will 100% try to stay with them.

I stayed at the Discovery Suites Manila and overall, it was a great experience. The room itself was really spacious and the bed was comfortable. However, I did have some issues with the pillows being too thick and causing some pain in my neck the following day. Additionally, the bathroom was quite large which was a nice surprise. The location of the hotel is great as it is very close to shopping malls which made it convenient for me to browse and shop. The breakfast was good but unfortunately, the exhaust fan could use some improvement as the smell of the food lingered on my clothes throughout the day. Despite these minor issues, I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Manila.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Location is very nice. Room was clean and spacious. We also got a welcome gift from the hotel manager who to our room to personally welcome us to the hotel. That’s was very sweet.

They didn’t have rice cooker and enough pots to use for cooking in the room. We got the room that comes with a kitchen. Other than that, everything is was great.
