I liked everything about the hotel. Rooms were modern and clean and beds were lovely. Food was beautiful and the reasonably priced. We sat by the fire both nights and had our dinner,dessert,cocktails and teas and coffees so we spent a fortune but we really enjoyed ourselves. It was a big deal that there was a baby pool and that was one of the main reasons we booked here. We will definitely be back ! It's close enough to tropical world like 10-15mins away and we done the wild ireland to that's about 30 mins away.

I was told on the phone that I would have 2 pay the full amount for both nights fir my little girls breakfast who is turning 4 next week! Most hotels do free breakfast under a certain age. I thought this was unexceptional as she ate a round of toast and a glass of milk the first day and the second day she just ate a sausage and a few spoonfuls of beans of my plate. It made me feel very uncomfortable having to explain that my child is 3 and does not eat alot which everyone knows what kids are like at that age. Kids should dine for free for at least the breakfast under 5.

The bedroom was spacious and cosy, and our requirements were met for where I asked for the bedroom to be situated. Pool was great 😃

A little thing that did annoy me was the cleaner/ housekeeping knocked on the bedroom door twice on the morning of check out. At about 10:30am & again at 11.30am. our checkout time wasn't until 12, so I felt I was being rushed a little to leave the room so it could be cleaned. And with a baby with us it's not easy getting up, ready and out early.

We had to leave at half 7 so couldn’t get hot food for breakfast but we’re still looking full price, when we only getting toast and cereal, which is available from 7-7.30. This needs reviewed and price decreased for not getting hot breakfast.

Beds very comfortable and the hotel was very clean and comfortable .

Modern bar staff can’t seem to multitask. An acknowledgement though that they see you and will be taking my order in a minute would be good. The blind stare perfected by all of the bar staff . Would hate to see it if the bar was busy . One of the receptionist was the same . First encounter we put down to her being at the end of a long shift maybe but she was as grumpy the following morning

The room was huge, the spa was great, the domestics were helpful and excellent.

I crunched my car against a container when the car park was full, room doors were slamming all one night.

Wedding venue was lovely . Excellent dinner service .

The staff were wonderful and the hotel looked beautiful, decorated for Christmas. We travelled as a large group and everyone at the hotel went out of their way to make the gathering a very happy one for all the family

The bathroom in our double room was extremely small. And while we booked a variety of rooms, for couples, family rooms, and individuals, all the rooms although priced at different rates, were exactly the same. In many senses this wasn't appropriate, as the needs of a couple/ family/ individual occupant are quite different when on vacation. It was disappointing that the sloped entrance to the leisure facilities was constantly wet during our stay, with signs up to mark this. I had enquired prior to our stay about disabled access to the pool for my mum, and she had been looking forward to use of this, but she couldn't navigate the entrance to the facilities, because they were soaked/ slippy and on a slope. The restaurant was lovely, but quite cold, which was a bit of a shame too.

Breakfast I thought was a bit overpriced,our stay was for two nights and we dined both nights in the bar,food was very good.The girl who attended our table (mary) was absolutely brilliant (take note HR department)

On checking out I acknowledged how pleasant our stay was and the receptionist told me there was a balance owed on my bill?so I had already made sure myself on my bank account on line that monies was taken for my stay,so I ask for a receipt which just gave amount due and but not telling me what it was for?I questioned the balance with the receptionist and she ask me to wait 5 minutes to sort it out.it past 5 minutes (15 minutes)I was travelling a distance so I told receptionist I was heading on my journey and ring me if she needed too.i got no call,I contacted the hotel myself and was told it was a mistake on their part and they would refund the money.

Check in smooth and efficient and receptionist very helpful and upgraded our room. Plenty of space to eat at breakfast and there was an ATM available.

Furniture and decor was starting to look a little shabby - the arms on the chairs in the reception area were worn, there were some holes in the corridor walls at the bottom and the bathroom door handle felt loose. For a large hotel breakfast could have had more choice. Point for the hotel - appreciate that floors needed mopping but dangerous to do at the same time as guests are trying to go to breakfast and check out - would not late morning before new guests arrive been better?

Lovely spacious airy clean room. Large, extremely comfortable bed. Large clean bathroom with excellent walk-in shower. Very pleasant not to have door bumping against toilet when you’re getting in and out. All well lit. Friendly and helpful staff on checking in. Comfortable outdoor seating area (with heater if required). Communal toilets near bar and restaurant very clean and stylishly furnished. Really enjoyed the live music from 9.30 to midnight. Excellent, well-equipped gym and pool. Had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend!
