Perfect! Good sized room, spacious bathroom with sunken Japanese-style bath plus separate shower. Gym is decent compared to other Taipei hotels - dumbbells 2kg, 4kg, 6kg, 8kg, 10kg, 12kg. Machines: 2 treadmills, 1 stepper, 1 elliptical, 1 bike. 2 stability balls and 2 yoga mats. Lots of water and towels. Great location with plenty of food and shopping down the road. Recommend Smith & Hsu, HerBar if you want something healthy. Shin Kong Mitsukoshi not far, with Din Tai Fung. Staff are super polite. Welcome fruit and Wang Wang biscuits on arrival in room. Cute Wang Wang logo on towels.

Breakfast has a variety of breakfast items and brunch items, a little bit of something for everybody. Staff was always pleasant and greeted everyone. Hotel room was comfortable and bonus was the tub for soaking. Umbrella in each room for those rainy days. Location of the hotel was within walking distance of two different train lines. Furthermore, the television and audio equipment require contemporary upgrades, as they appear to be antiquated. The hotel's location is indeed strategically situated, surrounded by a pleasant neighborhood. Yet, it's worth noting that if your primary mode of transportation relies on the MRT, you might need to allocate around 10 minutes for a walking journey. One of the hotel's standout features is their remarkable kindness in serving their guests. A notable example occurred on our departure day. Although we had already checked out, a lady (whose name unfortunately escapes me) exhibited an extraordinary eagerness to assist. She went above and beyond to help us secure a taxi, and even though we ultimately opted for Uber, she remained at the hotel's entrance, aiding in the transfer of our luggage to the awaiting vehicle. Experiencing such heartfelt and considerate service left me with an immensely positive impression.

A nice boutique hotel in the business district of Taipei (10-minute walk to the Zhongshan MRT). The room was quite comfortable and spacious, although the facilities clearly needed some renovation. Very good bathroom with a sort of onsen (a japanese-style bath) inside. Tasty western-style breakfasts with good choice. Very attentive and careful staff at the reception, they also allowed us early check-in.

The room is overpriced for a regular visitor, perhaps it's more for some business visitors.

The fact that the three of us could bunk in comfortably and the room is big! Although furnitures are getting oldish, all in all, it is still a very cosy warm hotel to stay in! Location is not really fantastic, but not too bad given the excellent customer service by the staffs! In all, we enjoyed our stay at San Want and will consider staying again when we visit Taipei! Oh ya, not forgetting the countless wangwang snacks that the Hotel places for free for the Guests to munch on - that’s a nice gesture!

Lots of art pieces on display in hotel. Hotel is directly opposite Linsen park makes morning walk very pleasant. Concierge is very attentive. Room large window draws in plenty of light was fantastic. I like that the luggage stand is deep in the room and not the first thing you see as you enter.

I find the fititngs in room a little dated but bathroom was excellent. Foyer to room dark, could do with stronger light bulb.

A small business hotel with cozy and welcoming ambiance and excellent location. The room though not very big equips with all the luxury amenities such as thick slippers and soft yukata for after a nice bath. The bed was also very comfortable. My stay included the breakfast and I truly enjoyed it. The breakfast staff were polite and attentive. Overall I had a great time at the San Want Hotel.

Everything. The room was very spacious and extremely clean. The bathroom was splendid with japanese style bidet and a sunken bathtub which resembles the Japanese onsen. Soaking in bath after a day's out in summer heat was really relaxing. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful with enquiries. The breakfast spread was excellent and food was tasty. The hotel is about 7 to 8 min walk from Songjiang Nanjing station which is intersection of green and yellow MRT lines. It was so easy to go anywhere. It is also a short walk to Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Mall (Taipei Nanxi) and Eslite store. Lots of shopping. All these for a very reasonable price. I will definitely stay here again when I go to Taipei in the future.

The sleep room and bathroom were perfect. There was a plate of fresh fruit and two bottles of water waiting for us upon arrival. Check in and out was easy. We were able to leave our bags at the front desk after checkout until our flight departure. The location was an easy and direct 10-minute walk to the train station and a 5-minute taxi ride to the airport main train station. The breakfast was delicious with a wide selection of fruit, pastries & breads, and breakfast foods from both eastern and western cultures. I would highly recommend staying here for first-time visitors and tourists.
