Big, colorful and welcoming "old style" hostel, with dormitories and some double rooms, in good position. Beds are comfortable.

In the dormitories the lockers/drawers are very small, not even enough for a laptop. Wifi is slow, and usable only in the kitchen.

we had a great stay. we love the free breakfast and you can have lots of options. near the restaurants and 5 min walk to the beach! very nice staff (hello ate gema and Marsia). overall, our stay was good.

wifi - well sometimes it’s just bot working in the kitchen area. but it’s okay since we have back ups like po ket wifi bathroom- broken door locks and handles and there’s a small hole in the door that you can be seen inside the shower area.

Owners really put a lot of thought into creating this hostel for guests. You can tell by the design that they tried to encompass all this things a good hostel should have. Loved the free breakfast and honest info from the staff.

Like most tourist places affected by Covid, this place needs some maintenance work done. Nevertheless for what you pay for is still a good value, especially since this is a hostel and you come here for cheap accommodation and to meet people.

You get what you paid for and the location of the hostel is convenient to the sites where tourists usually flock hence, safety is widely observed. It's just a 7-min walking distance to the Kota Sandbar which is a lovely spot to watch over the sunset. The breakfast was really good! and the staff were helpful and approachable

Honestly, the bathroom needs to be improved. Sometimes there would be water interruptions. The faucet at the shared bathroom was broken so the water keeps filling up the bucket till it's overflowing so might need to repair to avoid wasting water.

I stayed here for a week and didnt have any issues. It was helpful that their wifi has strong connection and i am able to work peacefully. Also, there were no background noises at night so my work was not interrupted. Kudos to all the nice staff of Casa Isabel! They were very approachable, friendly and attentive. I will definitely stay here again when i come back!

I had a very nice stay. For the price I didn't expect much and everything was perfect. It was clean and the beds comfortable.

The hostel is very homey, and close to Kota Beach, Market, MJ Square and everyrhing. They have free coffee too and I never had any problem with the wifi since I work there. If u like to travel and work at the same time this place is a good spot for signal. I've met good friends there too and the staff are very nice. Also, I extend my stay. I stayed there for 7 nights.

No water pressure, the door to the bathroom in my dorm was broken so we had to us the bathroom down the hall (not really a problem, but would have been even better with ensuited bathroom

i love the homey feel the owners give and the front garden is very nice to relax in. facilities are fine for what you pay for and the shared room is airy and big.
