Cosines, stylish decor , biscuits homemade were a lovely touch. Staff were always friendly and obliging. room was mostly quiet all of the time, but did hear a floor polisher working downstairs in the early hours of one morning…… something difficult to avoid, as it has to be done sometime ! Room was always super clean . I think the sheets were pure cotton, which makes for a great nights, comfortable sleep. Something that should be mandatory, but nowadays is not always the case ! A great place to stay !

Nothing I can think off . Actually, I just remembered….. we both found the shower taps difficult to organise initially to get a really warm shower. Maybe some brief instructions on how they work best …..?

The rooms are gorgeous, comfortable, and feel high quality. We loved how they were designed. The location was also very easy to get around to and from.

I didn't realize the hotel was located above a pub and was essentially a few rooms + a pub. It felt like the hotel played a secondary role to the restaurant and that hotel guests were a random flow of patrons amidst restaurant/bar patrons. There was an issue with heating in our room, which the hotel remedied immediately by moving us, but since there were so few rooms it was almost the case that we would not be able to move. It was a bit stressful, but no fault of the staff.

Our stay at The Princess Royal Notting Hill was absolutely fantastic. Very conveniently located in the heart of Notting Hill in a very quiet neighbourhood, boutiques, tearooms, tube and buses within an easy reach. All our expectations were met : a different concept of soulful pub with cosy and stylish rooms. Beautifully designed common areas, an intimate conservatory, a beautiful garden, a very confortable room with quality bed , pillows and linen. An impeccable bathroom and a lot of well thought of details : Alessi kettle, Ghd straightener (which made my wife happy), 100 acres beauty products and more. The room was perfectly soundproofing, we stayed 4 nights and not a single noise from the pub or the feasting rooms was heard. Every evening we enjoyed the pub's festive yet chic atmosphere and food was so delicious (a Mediterranean influenced menu) that we barely felt like going out somewhere else. We were definitely pampered by the staff, which currently is a quite rare thing. Our warmest thanks to James, Enrico, Manuel, Steve, Paul (sorry if we forgot a few names) as well as to the youngest team, who all made our journey an unforgettable one. We'll be back. The team’s hospitality and accommodation was the highlight of the many places we have stayed throughout our honeymoon trip in Europe, which we wish to acknowledge. The location is perfect, with plenty of restaurants around and convenient public transportation. The room is so cozy and spacious, the shower was great, the staff was friendly and the property is incredibly charming! Bonus: french press coffee in the room.

Not a big deal, but it would be good to have a full body mirror.

The rooms are beautiful and clean with nice amenities. Very charming and quiet. The pub downstairs is very nice, great food and drinks and very cozy vibes. The staff went above and beyond in their kindness and helpfulness we felt completely at home!

A country pub in the beautiful city of London. The bar area, beautiful we enjoyed a beer & glass of wine in front of the gorgeous open fire whilst our bags were taken upstairs for us, we then had an incredible meal with excellent service & a night cap after our evening adventure out. Rooms are comfy, spacious & filled with luxuries.

Gorgeous cosy room in the loveliest pub in the cutest neighbourhood. Very quiet and very comfortable, staff were all exceptionally friendly!

Not much not to like! A mini fridge to keep milk for tea in the room is the only change I’d make, though the staff were happy to give us milk to take up when needed!

we had big heavy bags, and there was a flight of stairs which was difficult for us. there isn’t a designated bellhop so it felt awkward to ask the waiters to help with the bags.
