If you are looking for robertson crusoe come Survivor vibe this is the place for you! Lots of instagramable photo ops. The beach is a but steep ( maybe due to recent weather ) and the water not as clear as other beaches we visited. Also take reef shoes as theres quite a lot of loose coral. The staff were fantastic and the food was very nice but they did struggle a bit with allergies. I’m gluten free and they suggested dishes that ended up not being gluten free - so just double check. The yoga Shala is one of the most beautiful I’ve seen and the classes I did were great. Overall is a great experience for a couple of nights.

The bed is incredibly small for 2 people especially in the heat. The bathrooms were a long way from our room - so hopefully in the future they might put a bathroom at the other end. You do have to pay for everything including kayaks, paddleboards , snorkels etc The yoga was great but also a bit pricey.

This is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed! The sweetest employees, amazing food, the pod we stayed in was fantastic! No wifi and internet on that side of the island, which was soooo nice with a digital detox in beautiful surroundings! They offered at lot of nice wellness activities. We tried yoga, learned Thai massage and got Filippinese massage which all were really good.

The location is absolutely stunning. Very private and relaxing. Architecturally the hives are amazing and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The views from the bed straight-out to the beach and ocean were very special. The food was truly outstanding and the best we are in the Philippines. A short 10min walk on to the other side of the island there is excellent snorkeling and a WWII shipwreck literally just off the beach. The staff were very friendly and attentive. And the music played was great and provided the perfect ambience. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

A few things I think could be added to make this place even better would be to have a brush in each room so that we can sweep out any sand throughout the stay. Debris would fall from the roof and on to the bed constantly, so the bed would begin to feel grainy throughout the night. Possibly some sort of hanging canopy would be good. A second outside seat so we both could sit on the veranda. A seat inside the room, so we didn't always have to sit on the bed to put on things like suncream and insect repellant. A table to put our bags on, so they aren't on the floor. I feel the shuttle not being included in the price is a bit of a sting. I think charging more per night, including dinner and the shuttle people would feel they were getting more value for money.

The staff was so friendly, the food was delicious and the setting was gorgeous. It felt like being in a fantasy idea of what a beach camp could be like. The main building was beautiful with three stories and a lookout at the top that provided ample communal space to relax and enjoy the location. There was also a big variety in rooms depending on the amount of comfort someone is looking for, from tents to a beautiful cabin with porches, and its own bathroom!

Just remember that it is cash only completely for your stay and that there is no cell service even in comunal areas. You can walk 5-10 min to the other side of the island for cell service if needed but there is none in camp!

Great relaxed vibe, tasty fresh food, amazing remote location, beautifully decorated with unique and thoughtful details. Unlike anywhere else we've stayed in the world!

The service was a little slow (although didn't matter much as you quickly get into the island way of life) - Kate was great but some of the other staff got our orders wrong or would forget to bring cutlery over, etc. The tents are very hot but to be expected given you are effectively camping on a beach in Philippines.

We had the best 5 days at Dryft. It was our favorite part of our Philippine trip! We were very pleasantly surprised by how clean and well kept everything was. Considering it’s a camp site, it’s extremely well prepared and thought out for everyone’s comfort, and with an eco friendly approach too which is wonderful to see. The general vibe was so relaxing and there was plenty to do in terms of holiday and relaxation activities. The food was absolutely outstanding (also the best we had in the Philippines). The service was excellent and the staff were always warm and welcoming. Mr Ralph was especially helpful and eager to assist us, always with a big smile! The team made us feel right at home and we were sad to leave. We feel very fortunate to have experienced this haven in the middle of quiet paradise. The perfect place to peacefully recharge, be in touch with nature, and live simply.

That we couldn’t stay longer

Omg! Where to start ?! The location is an isolated and beautiful Island beach! Relaxing and you have some activities to do if you came with friends and family. The FOOD was delicious!! My compliment to Chef. Joshua and his crew for serving flavorful food, despite the menu being limited it was worth every bite. And many thanks to our Gorgeous Hostess Andrea and her staff for taking care of us and providing an exceptional service. Many thanks to the Dryft Darocotan team for being AWESOME!

You will be disconnected aka NO WiFi; and not have a good signal, but on some parts of the island you will get some good connection! So get a good service provider or just be disconnected! It's okay both ways. Do wear swimming outfits, as the boat taking you to the island might need to be boarded by you walking in water as the waves might be high for them to park at the docks.

This is a beautiful location and island. The resort is lovely, a great place to go to switch off, and enjoy the beach and sea. The bathroom and accommodation are fun and different, as are the main buildings. The food is lovely, although the adult men in our group found the portions quite small.

Everything you might want to do (apart from sunbathing on the beach) is at additional cost - be that using snorkelling gear/paddle boards/yoga etc. Would be nice to get that and the food/drinks included. As the costs mount up! Note the transfers are weather and time of day dependent and at additional cost. Just be aware of what might happen if your transfer can't take place due to a delayed flight or the weather - we ended up having to book an emergency night of accommodation by the airport at our cost as our flight was delayed due to poor weather and the boat transfer window was missed. And then had to wait several hours the next day to get a gap in the weather so we could get to the island so we 'missed' 36 hours of our time in the resort.

Had a fantastic stay at Dryft Camp. This place is just WAW. It felt so good to spend some days in this remote place and do a digital detox. The staff is going above and beyond for you. I really loved the yoga and other sport classes with Deborah. The yoga Shala is just a dream! The food and drinks were nice. The room and shared bathrooms were clean.

We stayed in a tent and the room had quite some mold, which is pity considering the price you pay. However as stated above, the staff made everything to solve this issue and quickly. Big shootout to Kate and the team!!! As stated in their description, there is no wifi or signal, which was totally fine for us since we really wanted to do a digital detox but might be a problem for other people. You need to make a 5-10walk to the other side of the island to find some signal.

Moet magical place ever. If you are searching for something unique, peacefully, romantic tropical dream. This is the place. We almost missed the last boat to the ‘Dryft island’ because of our delayed speed ferry. They did everything they can to have us on the last boat and it worked out because of their dedication. Really happy because when we arrived we already knew we didn’t want to miss our first night here and the day after we booked two extra nights immediately. Staff and food is wonderful and literally your favorite digital detox phone area! We will come back.

Nothing, only the sand flies, but only I got bit nobody else. And this is something out of their control. Just bring enough repellant.
