This place was well located in the centre of busy Ubud, just down from the Palace.... but somehow was also really peaceful and quiet. It was only a short walk to the popular Campuhan Ridge walk in one direction and the new market area in the other. Good value for money, spacious and clean bungalows, simple but tasty breakfast, fridge in the room, had a ceiling fan but no air conditioner, hot and cold filtered water always available, and a large pool that I seemed to have all to myself each day.

The staff were friendly but few in number, so sometimes hard to find. The mattress was firm and the springs could be felt underneath me, especially as I'm a side sleeper. The wifi kept dropping out, it seemed to work ok in the breaky area, but not in my room. The location was great and very central so you can walk to all the main tourist spots, but the entrance is on a very narrow road with market stalls along both sides. It's not possible for car access which makes transporting luggage difficult. Bike acces is perfect, but if you have a suitcase, you need to walk it in, which can be hard going in the heat of the day, or late at night in the dark.

AMAZING value for money! GREAT location!! The pool was always clean and always had the area to myself as it was rarely used. Hot and chilled water dispenser, patio and garden area all private for myself. Use of their kitchen means I could prepare meals myself. Bath. Fridge. Good toilet washer facility. Room tidied daily.Great value for money. Would come again.

Not enough hot water for a bath, could do with a deeper clean in areas as my feet were often made dirty when walking on the floor and the bedding (pillows) need to be updates as are very old.

This property is tucked away so is really peaceful but has so much within walking distance. The staff are so lovely and make an excellent breakfast in the morning. They went above and beyond to help me when my airport taxi was late. There was space for me to work remotely which was great.

The only issue I had was that the wifi wasn’t very strong in my bungalow but it was fine in other areas so not a big deal.

Arjana Bungalows is a magical place to stay. The property is old Balinese-style architecture with mossy stone pathways, beautiful tropical gardens, and an amazing large pool with a massage fountain. I had my own bungalow with a private verandah and balcony. There were butterflies, squirrels, lizards, dragonflies, and birds in the garden, The room and bathroom were airy and spacious and the fridge was freezing cold! The bed has a mosquito net which comes in handy. On the veranda there is a water bottle dispenser so you can fill up your water bottles with cool water and make a cup of tea or coffee with hot water. They provide real Bali Kopi - yum! Breakfast is included in the price - you can have omelette/scrambled eggs, toast, and fresh fruit salad - the cook brings it to your room and it is delicious! The family owners and their staff are very warm-hearted, friendly, and hospitable. I Loved everything!

Loved the swimming pool, friendly staff, and the location - close to all the shops and main road, but far enough off the road for peace and quiet. Breakfast was good - pancakes, egg omelette and toast, and fruit tray, free coffee or tea. Staff was very accommodating. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Ubud.

Superb value for money. Spacious room with great outside space, good privacy. Great location, peaceful, on the verge of the rice fields but only a short walk from the crazy tourist busy main high street. And the best breakfast

Great location: on walking distance of Ubud but in a very quiet area. Sleeping with jungle sounds was awesome. Room was very big and clean (cleaned every day). There was a nice pool, good breakfast. The staff was so friendly and extremely helpfull, thanks a lot!

It’s near the trailhead for Kajeng Rice trail, a 10 minute walk from the palace area and Monkey Forest road (aka madness). Super quiet with great, inexpensive warungs and restaurants nearby.

The shower wasn’t high enough for our token talk person, but they survived.

Amazing place hidden away from busy streets of Ubud but still walking distance from all the happening. Little green sanctuary with big swimming pool is oasis after day of shopping on the streets. Lovely family and stuff always ready to help and ensure the comfort. They also very kindly cooked and looked after us on Nyepi day, making sure the tourists don't starve 😃😃😃
