My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mr Cas Hotels - Special Category during our vacation in June 2023. Overall, our experience at the hotel was delightful, with its prime location, friendly staff, and comfortable rooms, though it was slightly marred by the noise from nearby clubs. One of the standout features of Mr Cas Hotels was its excellent location. Situated in the heart of the city, we found ourselves just a stone's throw away from various attractions, famous food joints, and shopping areas. This proved to be incredibly convenient and added to the overall enjoyment of our trip. The hotel staff truly deserves appreciation for their warm hospitality. From the moment we arrived, they greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome. Furthermore, they pleasantly surprised us by upgrading our rooms to a higher category, which was a delightful gesture. This small act of kindness elevated our stay and left a positive impression on us. We were also impressed by the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the rooms. They were well-maintained, neat, and tastefully decorated, providing a comfortable and inviting ambiance. After a long day of sightseeing and shopping, returning to the cozy rooms was a treat in itself. Additionally, the proximity to various famous food options and shopping districts was a big plus. We had the opportunity to savor local delicacies and indulge in some retail therapy without having to travel far. This added convenience made our stay even more enjoyable. Despite the minor inconvenience at night, Mr Cas Hotels - Special Category provided us with a memorable experience. The excellent location, friendly staff, and well-kept rooms contributed to a comfortable and enjoyable stay. If the issue of noise is addressed in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to rate this hotel with a full 10 stars. I highly recommend Mr Cas Hotels to fellow travelers looking for a pleasant and convenient stay in the heart of the city.

However, one significant downside we encountered was the disturbance at night caused by nearby clubs. The hotel's otherwise tranquil atmosphere was disrupted by loud music and noise, which affected our sleep quality. It would be advisable for the management to invest in soundproofing the rooms, especially those facing the clubs, to ensure a more peaceful and undisturbed stay for guests.

The breakfast buffet was lovely and the cocktails in the evening were great. The restaurant staff were great and remembered our orders from one day to the next. It was a very comfortable room and great nights sleep.

The walls are very thin as it's an old building so it's impossible to not hear the noise from the street or from other guests.

Very charming and tastefully done Hotel full of history along with modern touches in a very central part of Istanbul. Staff was very accommodating and helpful with everything including moving rooms. And the top floor breakfast draft Restaurant is quite cool with Turkish breakfast each morning. .

Not the easiest place to sleep. All the premium front street facing rooms have music blasting on the 24 hour walking street. The rooms on the back of the house are awakened by loudspeaker at a school five days a week. The hotel provides earplugs but they just aren’t enough for the pumping base from the neighbouring clubs.

Loved everything. First, the staff. So kind, patient and helpful. Special shout out to Selim, who ran the reception so efficiently and gave us the best recommendations. Then Mustafa who ran the bar and the breakfast, always smiling, always helpful and doing a great job. And Mesut who also helped us, with a smile. The hotel is brilliantly maintained, looks like a Wes Anderson film set and the rooms are top notch. Super comfortable beds, great linen, thoughtful amenities, and very clean. We had the room facing Istiklal, and read reviews about how it could be noisy because of the nightclub in front. But honestly we enjoyed it, and after walking the whole day, nothing could disturb us. We had the best holiday, and a large part of it was because we chose Mr Cas to stay at. So much history and so pretty, just added to our love for Istanbul.

This is a great hotel and a very central location, the decor was fab & complimentary to the old building it is in (v Instagramable 😁) . The room (deluxe double (switched to twin)) was v spacious. Staff were great, so helpful and friendly! Cute bar upstairs with great drinks! Hotel is located on a pedestrianised street so not always accessible by cars during day. On my departure day the hotel reception staff (without me asking) liaised directly with my transfer driver to arrange pick up location and brought my bags and I to the location, it was v kind and appreciated. I also arrived to the hotel and an ungodly hour in the morning and the guys at reception kept me topped up with coffee and tea until I coukd get access to my room.

The only minor thing I would say (and this is due to the nature of the building) is that you can hear conversations and footsteps in hallway. If you are a light sleeper maybe consider earplugs.

The location is directly on the famous İstiklal Avenue in Istanbul (see picture). There is no way your taxi can bring you in front of the door as it is a pedestrian street. If you don't mind to walk 50-100m it should be OK. I would advise to book the room on the rear side as the street can get a bit loud. There are plenty of restaurants and bars in the alley in front of the hotel and a lot of shops on the avenue. The breakfast is served and not a buffet, if your stay is included then the fresh orange juice is an additional expense and you have to choose one breakfast. For the breakfast you can choose for example a Turkish breakfast, French breakfast (with 2 croissants), Omelette or scrambled eggs. The breakfast is served in the lounge on the last floor and you can also see the view from the roof terrace (see picture). At the south end of the avenue, you have the possibility to get to the funicular station and arrive not far from the bridge going to the gran Bazaar. The famous Galata tower can be reached in a few minutes on foot. The staff is very polite and helpful.

It can get a bit noisy in the evening, but if you want to be in the center it is a very good location. There is little place for your clothes, but you are in Istanbul to buy more clothes? Right? ;-) The lounge/bar (see picture) is only open from Thursday on for the week-end until 23:00. Otherwise from Sunday to Wednesday until 17:00.

The hotel is beautiful, with a fantastic location and close walking distance to Istiklal Street and a hub of restaurants / bars. The architecture and design of the hotel / rooms is stunning, and you're immediately transported to a different decade. We had initially selected a courtyard room (which we found too small / stuffy), and upon communicating our dissatisfaction, we were offered an upgrade (at a small additional cost). This made our stay far more enjoyable!

While the hotel is beautiful, we were not satisfied with the amenities. Coffee (in your room) comes at an additional cost of 2 Euros per pod, which I have never experienced at a hotel. For the price of the entire stay, I did not feel that it was great value for money (given the other hotels in the area).

The location was pretty good for me because all my conference events were quite nearby. It is located on a lively shopping street, but no noise came to my room and I slept well. The bed was huge and the room was very clean. Breakfast was good and healthy. The Hotel looks like a small boutique hotel, it is very unique compared to so-called chain hotels. Some people like "standard" places but I as a traveler prefer to see something different that has some spirit in it. ( In addition to supporting local entrepreneurs) The hotel is well suited for those who can walk as there are quite many stairs in the building, even though there is a small elevator. The staff was very nice, including the reception, restaurant, and cleaning. They also helped me to get transport from the airport in the middle of the night, which was very kind as I had never traveled to Turkiye before.

There could be more lights in the room, but I didn't actually spend too much time in it so it didn't matter. The sign on the street could also be bigger.

The hotel feels like the perfect balance between home and hotel. It feels cosy and classic whilst also having very modern and clean facilities. The staff were lovely and accommodating and were always there to lend a helping hand, even providing information on hidden gems in the city.

Depending on what side of the street your room is facing, I imagine it could be noisy. Luckily ours was facing the quiet side. Word of warning, the toilet did not have a door, which was a little tricky to navigate with my fiancé at first but they do have a communal living area you can step into to give eachother privacy!

The staff are exceptional, really kind, helpful and friendly. I had injured my ankle the day before and they made an effort to go to a pharmacy for me and call me from there with the pharmacist to make sure I had what I needed. You don't get kindness like that often. The hotel room was very quiet considering it is located on a very busy street. We had booked an internal room which doesn't receive much natural light but honestly it was great because we were out exploring Istanbul and it allowed us to sleep in a little. Breakfast on the rooftop was lovely as we planned our day and it turns into a bar on the weekends and having a nightcap up there with the lights of the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque in the distance was quite special.

Honestly I can't think of anything, location is brilliant, staff were exceptional, room was clean, bed was comfortable, shower pressure was good and the products in the bathroom smelled heavenly.
