Nice location. Warm welcome. Friendly bar. Restaurant food was good for dinner, as was the breakfast. The housekeepers were delightful. The rooms were a good size and the bathrooms modern, clean and with a big shower area. No bath. Short driving distance to town, shops and restaurants.

Although the menu was good and diverse, even if you ask if something is spicy and they say no, invariably the chef cannot resist to add hot spice to most dishes. Even when we asked for a traditional eggs benedict, the sauce was so spicy my husband had to return it. To be honest, several of the local restaurants did the same thing. Difficult when your stomach can't tolerate hot spices. The mattress was soft, which is not our preference. If you sat on the edge of the bed you would slide off.

Loved the location and scenery. Hotel was very nice and staff was very friendly. Beautiful place and very pleasant stay over all!!

PARKING! There is no “on site” parking unless you utilize the valet for an extra charge. The only “on site” parking is an overflow lot about 3 city blocks away from the hotel. Not a great distance, until you are trying to load and unload all of your belongings along with 3 children and all of their belongings. Not an easy thing to do, conveniently. Happy that there is free parking, but it is very inconvenient. Especially when my father in law, who also was traveling with us, has limited mobility/is handicapped. That’s my one complaint of our stay. Everything else was a 10!

Size of room, cleanliness of room, comfortable beds, restaurant, our shuttle driver (can’t remember this hotel employee’s name but he was on original staff who opened hotel restaurant) was awesome and deserves a big shout out. Overall a good stay and overall a very pleasant staff, but didn’t meet our expectations.

Shower leaked, room safe didn’t work, amount of time it took front desk to get me additional towels to mop up floor where shower leaked (and lack of concern from front desk attendant). View from room, guest parking is ridiculously far away from room, fire pit outside didn’t work. Price we paid was not a good value for what we received.

Housekeeping was not good. Room was lovely first day. Second day no housekeeping.Go e 7 hours and room wasn’t made up. Then asked for towels . Did receive them lovely girl Amanda went to the laundry to get them. We folded them, no big deal ,Asked for them to bring us other towels, toilet paper, garbage bags. Came back in the evening to find 1bath towel, 1 bath mat,1 face cloth there were two of us. I did speak to management. Very nice Mr. Sullivan. This is a higher end resort. This should not happen.

A beautiful hotel! We were expecting it to be nice, but it was more swank than anticipated and, for the price (granted, it was in February) it was a great deal. I called them last minute to see if we could bring our dog and they put us in a pet room - would have never known it was a pet room as it was very clean and beautiful - and on the first floor with a screened porch that let out onto a grassy area allowing us to easily walk our dog. It was very peaceful, down the road from the town area of Beaufort. Water and boats pulled up to the property (picture included). Will definitely stay here again!

They don't begin serving breakfast until 8am. Perhaps this is because its off season. We went to find an appropriate snack for breakfast in the snack room but there were really only candy bars.

The breakfast was very good, service was excellent and good value, especially for the children that were with us. The major criticism is with parking. The self parking option is poor as it is in an unsecured, unpaved location which is a lengthy walk along a busy road some portion of which has no sidewalk. The valet parking staff is great but I prefer not to have others drive my vehicle.

See the comments above regarding the parking situation. It is a nice property which would have been even nicer if closer to downtown. Also, the swimming pool view room overlooked the massive marina warehouse-style building next door which was not very attractive.

The room, if not the entire facility, was clean and luxurious. I felt welcomed from the first phone call through to my final morning checkout. All staff members were smiling, helpful, and personable. Dinner at the bar was fantastic, especially from Lisa’s attentive care. Beaufort Hotel really nailed the “little details” on top of being a simply fancy hotel.

I wasn’t thrilled with the parking options- valet wasn’t convenient for my need to come and go multiple times in a day, and the guest lot was a short walk across and down the road, in a sandy and gravelly lot. It wasn’t a big deal, and wouldn’t be bad under different circumstances, but having a closer on-site lot would have been the best possible option.

Breakfast was great. Room was nice size.

View from my room, having balcony was good, but just saw the road and old factory. room was nice but missing a stool or another shelf in the shower. A place to put personal shampoo or cleaner. I didn't care of Tommy Bahas stuff. Drink machine would not take any of the 10 , 1 dollar bills , went to front desk, drinks were 4 dollar for 1 20oz? only 2 in machine? Not sure i cared for valet, parking lot was right beside the hotel, could walk to my vehicle faster than waiting for them. I know sometimes there was alot of check in and outs at the same time. would save on congestion.

Very friendly staff that checked in on you by text. Televising screen had a welcoming message for me on screen. Room was very large with a very large bathroom and walk in shower. Room had robes and slippers for use. Daily maid service with easy to scan card to tip individuals. Just an overall beautiful hotel and location. Will definitely be coming back. The 34 degree restaurant at hotel had delicious food and a great view to have my meal on veranda.

Valet parking $15/ day so did not use but had to park about the distance of 2 1/2 blocks away and walk back to hotel. I did move car to front entrance of hotel to load and unload car and then moved it back to parking lot.

The hotel is beautiful. The staff was always smiling and very helpful. Housekeeping was AMAZING! They came in every day to clean up, get us fresh towels and make our bed. Thats an experience we haven't had since before COVID-19. The walk in shower was fantastic, the view was great we saw horses from our balcony.

The valet parking took a minute to adjust to but they were always fast to get your vehicle.
