Very nice staff & team. Called Taxis always if you asked although wouldn't help out driving you anywhere, the Taxis in Regensburg the cheapest I've found anywhere in the world honestly, so it only costs 10 euros to have a Taxis drive you. Place Louis Stadl Hotel is gorgeous but a little misleading as the cozy rooms with sofas and lounging chairs is unavailable to guests after 8:00pm. So isolated didn't like this.

Wished the sofa/lounging rooms were open after 8:00pm the booking.com and website is misleading as I chose the place because I thought it would have a good social atmosphere after hours, but they isolate you so the area is pretty worthless. Next time I'll choose a place where you have sections to socialize.

We loved the location of this property on the edge of the old town but only about 10 minutes (walking) from the train station. Absolutely lovely room graced with mid-century modern furniture and a very comfortable bed, plus a bathroom large enough to dance in! The little kitchen was well equipped and very useful since we didn’t try the offered breakfast, but the breakfast space looked comfortable and inviting.

Don’t let Google send you to the wrong hotel. Make sure you get directions for Hotel Luis Stadl NOT Hotel Luis. But should you be led astray (as we were) the staff at Hotel Luis will happily point you in the right direction and it’s only a few more minutes walking (across the river) to get there. Just FYI, Hotel Luis ALSO looks really pleasant!

Breakfast was the standard German offering, breads, meats/cheese, yoghurt, cold cereals. Each morning the buffet was fresh and plentiful. They were making custom coffee for guests as requested. The location was slightly outside the old town, however, only a few minutes walk. It was residential and away from the business of the city.

As Americans we found the beds all over Germany to be firm and the pillows flat. However, this was our experience throughout Germany, it was not unique to Luis Stadl. It's just the German way, twin beds pushed together, no top sheet or blanket, only a fitted sheet and a very warm individual quilt. This was our experience in December.

I like staying here because it is VERY quiet and that is the most important factor for me regarding a hotel stay. It is also very clean, comfortable and still conveniently located (very nice neighborhood). After checkout I was able to work for a while in the lobby and was able to enjoy a complimentary Cappuccino.

I only gave 9/10 stars, because the minibar was too loud and I couldn't use it to chill my Cola, which I drink in the morning. I also don't like being bound to a breakfast time, which I'm not clear on why they ask anyhow. It didn't seem to me to have a relevance, but apparently to them it does.

We had a nice but short stay here and were impressed by its artsy and vintage vibe. The unique decor and ambiance created a charming atmosphere that made our time there truly enjoyable. One of the highlights was the café located right within the hotel, which not only added to the convenience but also looked incredibly appealing. Additionally, the hotel's location is quite near the center, making it easily accessible by foot. It was convenient for us to explore the nearby attractions and experience the vibrant energy of the city. We regretted that our stay was too short, but it only means that next time we will definitely extend our stay to fully immerse ourselves in the wonderful experience this hotel has to offer. We would highly recommend it to others seeking a perfect blend of artistic flair, vintage charm, and a convenient location near the city center.

The hotel is located in a quiet area. We arrived late, but the late check-in was perfectly arranged &we had no problems. We got an upgrade so we had a very big appartment. The hotel is very stylishly furnished and cozy. The breakfast is very good.

There are not enough parking places in front of the hotel, so we some spend time to find one..

The hotel is very nice with onsite parking and a great breakfast made by local very friendly team.. Coffee was great as well as selection of food. The hotel is walking distance form the city center and in a lovely place near the water... Excellent and would come back again...

All was good. How can I pust something bad if everything was great...

This was our second time staying here and we love the cool decor of the rooms and very quiet location just outside of the center. Lots of character but not cluttered. We also love to swim and relax by the Danube canal just 100-200m away. Bike storage good in garage.

We missed an in-room kettle but you can buy coffee and tea in reception cafe area.

Lovely retro style hotel in a quiet suburb close to Regensberg centre. Large spacious room and the kitchen area was a bonus.

It was quite warm but they did provide a fan.

We had a fantastic stay. The room was nicely decorated with furniture that goes well with the charm of the hotel.

It’s frustrating to see the price going down by more than 30% on the day of arrival. The reception didn’t offer us a discount.
