On the plus side, the hotel architecture is magnificent, the dining experience outstanding and the staff excellent. The room itself, a corner suite on the top floor, was good with great views. We could even see the CN Tower across the city more than 26 Km away. The location is easy to get to just off the 407 highway - far enough from downtown Toronto but still accessible. Markham is a thriving area with every sort of facility one needs.
We were surprised by the lack of amenities in the suite: no mini bar, water glasses, bathrobes, slippers, or writing pad and pen. There were two bottles of water but cost $2.50 each. The tea/coffee maker included 4 small creamers, but 3 of them were off, and we had to pour the curdled coffee out. So, we decided to have tea instead but there was only 1 English Breakfast and 1 Camomile tea bag. Of course, we were able to order replacements, but this was not a 5 star experience. We also had to pay for parking, which is not unusual in big city hotels, although many hotels do provide free self-parking for guests and paid for valet parking. In spite of all that, we really enjoyed the suite, and give high praise to the staff and to the restaurant.

#1 Reviwer IN NC My recent visit to the Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites Conference Centre & Spa was delightful, as I had the opportunity to stay in one of their most splendid rooms. It was my inaugural visit to Toronto, and this hotel experience truly exceeded my expectations. The staff, particularly the lady who tended to my room each morning, was exceptionally kind. She always greeted me with a warm smile and a cheerful hello. The room itself was spacious, allowing me to comfortably move around, cook, watch TV, work, and rest. The only drawback was the noisy refrigerator that persisted throughout my stay. Despite this issue and a minor mishap with my pants (as seen in my review video on YouTube channel KDs 3mpire, #1 Reviewer in NC), my overall experience at this establishment was pleasant. I eagerly anticipate my next stay and look forward to returning soon. - A drawback was the noisy refrigerator that persisted throughout my stay - Paid Parking - Wifi could have been better - Ice Machine was out of ice on our floor - My biggest problem was the gym closing so early on the weekend

Location was great and we have stay there a few times. We love where it is close to everything. Will stay there again. Room is so big enough for 4 people if needed. Parking is very safe and room was big enough for my stay
nothing that I did not like. Maybe the rate could have been better I would have stay longer. We enjoyed the stay and front desk and everything and everyone was so friendly and helpful. Front desk check on my stay status everyday which not a lot of places would offer

The apartment was very spacious and could easily host 3 people. The room service cleaned very thoroughly and were not stingy if we required more towels, etc. Moreover, the amenities were great (the gym was spectacular, the pool large, the squash courts well kept)
It may just be me, but I felt like I had a lot of allergies during my stay which many people told me could be from the dry heating and if it's not cleaned properly. This is just a theory so I would not hold this against the hotel immediately. We had an unfortunate incident where, whilst having coffee there, my uncle paid for everything but the waitress still came to someone and asked for more money, as apparently someone had ordered a drink separately but we could not identify whom that person was. Also, apparently she was rude to my uncle when confronted about it.

The room was big/ suite clean right temperature for hot July. Conveniently located between church and event center we were at for wedding. Lounge at bottom was convent.Easy in and out parking privileges for $10 fee which is more reasonable then the meters there. Fridge and other amenities in room all working well. Beautiful views. Beds are very soft which I like my husband did not.
There is no second floor public access to pool you must walk through lobby to access stairs only to pool. They have a $75 charge for early and late check in and check out.

The buffet breakfast The spa The room - very spacious except for the bedroom The toiletries - except when they ran out I will be booking a room similar to the one I booked, probably with a conjoined room Loved the view Felt like we were in our own little mini getaway The room had a sofa bed for those who just wanted to crash in front of the television Loved the wake-up service from the television
Someone complained that I was wearing shoes in the swimming pool, when they were water shoes. A question is meant to be asked. Right? Or mind your business? The tone of the staff when we we came for the breakfast buffet. We knew the time. Every morning, we had a personal situation at home that needed our attention. So we ended up coming down at the time just before closing, and the staff kept checking their watch to indicate to us that the buffet would be closing very soon. I mean, we are not going to express our personal situation every time, right? Very intimidating. We managed to select what was offered from the delicious buffet and had an enjoyable time. Despite our situation, we will come back.

I stayed in the 3 story building housing the suites with kitchens. Both my suite and the larger hotel lobby and restaurant were absolutely sparkling and new looking. The employees were all very naturally friendly and helpful. They catch the details.
Small thing. Top sheets are pulled too low under the mattress at the foot of the bed. This makes it impossible to pull the top sheet and blanket up to your neck unless you are 4 feet tall.

The porter. He worked there for 20 years. Great demeanor. You could see the depth of his experience in the little things he did.
The confusion between priceline and the hotel. We secured the hotel with a UK credit card. Once we arrived we wanted to change the credit card to be billed to avoid the additional conversion fees and got the run around from both the hotel and booking.com. Furthermore, the room was booked as a king suite because it was for our wedding day. Upon checking in we were given a two double bed suite. They did compensate with a 1pm late check out at no charge but we had to be woke from our slumber as the front desk was calling and complain as they were prepared to charge us an additional 75$ for a 2pm check out. PLUS the security deposit credit card was billed 30$ (once 20 then 10) which was unexpected.

Integrity of hotel staff. They were great. We forgot some personal items and when we went back asking about them we were happy to know that they kept them safe for us to collect. Though I wished they contacted me to be aware of the forgotten items.
I had to pay for the parking $10 per night on top of the hotel charges. Everything else was fine.

My family loved how beautiful the hotel was on the outside and especially on the inside and they loved the glass elevator that let u see the lobby while going up and I loved that the room came with a sofa bed even if it wasn't the most comfortable the 4 of us were able to split up all the beds to be more comfortable in the room we got the people were so friendly and nice and helpful and we just loved how our waiter at breakfast went above and beyond to make our 6 year old son so happy they didn't have waffles at the breakfast buffet and he really wanted one and was disappointed and they Suprised him and brought him out a giant waffle covered in fruit and powdered sugar and chocolate sauce to dip it in all egg free because he is allergic to eggs so thoughtful and sweet absolutely amazing customer service on the hotels part thank you
The sofa bed was very uncomfortable but the double beds were very comfortable ... one other thing we didn't like was the weird glass by the door that had a curtain it let way too much light in from the hallway not sure why it's there but everything else was nice ... side note not a complaint but maybe something they could change in the future there was no little freezer in the fridge like most hotels so I couldn't re freeze my ice pack for my cooler but that's not a big deal
