Location was great, in walking distance to centre. The room was very spacious, clean and had kitchen with stove and microwave and is fully equipped for cooking. AC/heating was good and quiet. Lady at reception was very welcoming.

Our bed was a bit sagging in the middle. The red sofa in the room looked very run down with lots of scratches and rips and I didn't feel like sitting on it. The room would actually look better without it. Car space was a bit tight for our 4WD, especially when a car was parked next to it, but we managed. For the price we paid, we had better accommodation in Apollo Bay.

It was very comfortable for our night stay. Beds were very comfy and we got a good nights rest. We were within walking distance to find somewhere to eat, as there are no facilities in your room to cook but there is a microwave in the laundry you can use and also a bbq on the premises but as we arrived later than planned this was not an option. We had three to room.(our choice) One queen bed and one single. As an overnight or 2 day stay it would be great. Perhaps if you were staying longer and had big bags you may find the room a bit small.

At the time of check in the owner of the motel upgraded us to a huge family room with a full kitchen at no extra cost.What a lovely surprise! That is good old fashioned great customer service.The room was lovely and had everything we needed for a 2 night stay.You can walk into town with ease and the motel is on a quiet street.We would stay here again next time we are in Apollo Bay.

Only wish we could have stayed longer as there is a lot to see and do here!

The motel staff were happy and obliging. It is in a quiet location, within walking distance to shops, hotels, and restaurants. The rooms and bathroom were spacious and clean, and it also had good amenities.

We felt that the bathroom and kitchen were a bit dated and tired looking. The bush adjacent to Room 7's carport encroached on the carport, which made it tight to access some of the doors on our parked car!

Me and a mate booked a room as we were riding the Great Ocean Road and got caught out with a bad weather day. When we arrived looking like drowned rats, we were told we had been moved to a larger room which would help us dry our gear. This was at no charge and we did not ask for it, but it was a god send. Great location to the local pubs, restaurants and beach, friendly owner and great local knowledge, apartment was clean and suited our needs, I would recommend and stay again.

Furnishings seemed a little dated. Television free view/standard channels choice was poor (log in to view seemed to be the only option).

Staff were very helpful with providing information on dining, places to visit, local conditions etc... The room was spacious, clean, tidy, with all the equipment you need. Having the spa in the living space makes it an enjoyable experience rather than feeling tucked away in a bathroom as an add on, its a feature of the room we booked and the first reason we booked here. The log fire would be a nice touch on cold nights whilst you have a spa and watch a movie. The weather was too warm for us to use the log fire, but its a great feature. The location was great as well, easy walk to beach, town centre, and via car to local attractions.

I was very close to rating this place higher. I withheld 1 rating point only because the room is showing signs of ware and could use some attention. I'm being a little nit picky, but I hope this inspires some attention and a 9+ rating in the future.

Great Location close to everything. Room and bathroom were quite small. Photos made the room look bigger. Ok for the 2 nights . Good value and very helpful lady at check-in.

Table needed looking at very wobbly and no tea towel to dry up cups & plates which you had to wash in the bathroom sink.

The staff were lovely and really helpful. As it was a quiet time of the week, they upgraded our room. The room was spotless, spacious and had everything we needed to cook. As the motel is a block from the main street, it was really quiet but still only a 5 minute walk from the centre of town and the beach. Great place to stay!

Well located, very clean, and with excellent facilities (most especially the wood burner to help make the apartment very cosy on a wet mid-winter weekend)

Could have done with a little more wood, as the very gusty conditions outside meant the fire burned rather quickly. Only needed a little more, but that would’ve been lovely.
