Everything was a delight and in excellent order The situation was charming and accessible set, as in a 'mews' arrangement..The room had all that we needed; a bed , a small kitchen & shower room. The reception staff were so welcoming and kind; we would certainly like to stay there again, in fact we will.

Hotel d'Horloge provides self-contained studios that were ideal for our week in Paris. It is positioned between two nearby metro stations that provided easy access to the city or further afield. It is on the fringe of the tourist area but is surrounded by cafes and restaurants with good food to meet all budgets. The studios are tight but well equipped with hot plates and all facilities. Beds are comfortable and rooms are warm. If you are our age (70s) go for the ground floor. The layout is marvellously quirky with studios on the ground and first floor facing each other in an open narrow cobblestoned courtyard. It is built from a 18th Century fire station with stables downstairs and quarters on the first floor. Security provided by enormous wrought iron gates monitored from the office. The staff are its strength, nothing is too much trouble. If you are staying a week in Paris and are happy to travel to Printemps by metro without having to change, this is the place.

It's exactly as it says on the tin.

Very quiet place but lot's of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, and of course the famous Père Lachaise Cemetery. Also good to reach, not even a 5-min walk to two different Metro stations (Ménilmontant - Line 2, Rue Saint-Maur - Line 3) . The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room was quite small but this is to be expected in a city like Paris. For our taste the mattress was too soft. But these are minor details, overall we were satisfied.

I recently stayed at the Hotel de l'Horologe in Paris and had a wonderful experience. The staff is excellent, multilingual, and always ready with great advice. While the hotel is outside the main tourist areas, Paris's extensive metro system, with two stops nearby, makes getting around easy.

The only downside is the size of the rooms and the particularly narrow bathroom. However, since you'll likely spend most of your time exploring the city, this isn't a major issue. Overall, it's a great choice for a stay in Paris.

Second time I stayed, very convenient, charming little place, and good value for money. Staff very forthcoming and helpful. Some rooms are much better than others I think, worthwhile looking into options or asking. The neighbourhood is one of my personal favourites. Metro connections are so-so dependent on where you need to go, but anyway still very central. Cooking facility very convenient.

Some furniture is a bit basic (table, chairs) but ok!

Comfy bed and cosy room. The location was great because we were only a few minutes from both metro line 2 and metro line 3, so easily traveled in to paris each day we stayed. It was clean and tidy with a kettle and a fridge which was good because I brought tea with us. The courtyard was pretty and the gates made us feel safe. The lady who checked us in was great, she carried our bags to the room and spoke english but still let me try checking in in french.

Really great staff that were so friendly, and the hotel is a lovely layout! It takes you out of the busy streets of Paris and puts you in a relaxed setting. Staff would do anything and were really enthusiastic and polite! Room was clean and had a cooker and microwave which was really handy!

I’m a rugby built guy who’s 6’2 and struggled a bit with the bathroom. The shower wasn’t the most comfortable if you’re built like myself, but didn’t take away from the hotel!

Location was ideal, easy to get just about anywhere from where we were staying without having to take a bunch of different trains. There's a really neat wet market that happens down the street that has amazing produce and fish!

Accidentally overloaded the electrical system, which was fixed quickly after I checked in with the front desk. Just be weary of having a lot of things on while attempting to run the microwave!

The location was great-close to food, transport and sightseeing. It was a really well designed mini apartment with great facilities, modern, clean and comfortable. Staff were really friendly and super helpful. Breakfast delivered and delicious. Very enjoyable stay.

Some people may have trouble getting up and down the little stairs to the apartment but it’s likely the same in many French accommodations.
