The location was very quiet and convenient for us as we had a car - great to have free, easy parking on site. Check in staff were helpful. Waiter at breakfast was very nice, and breakfast itself was excellent - good choice of cereals, pastries, bread, bread rolls, cheeses, hams and other charcuterie, hot food items such as scrambled eggs, bacon and tomatoes. Nice coffee.

Our room was a bit tired and slightly shabby. The bed was not comfortable. Although the day to day cleaning was well done, longer term cleaning left a bit to be desired with small amounts of mould on the ceiling and tile grout in the bathroom, and some of the soft furnishings grubby. Paper cups? You must be kidding me. On the second day we asked in the bar and got some real glasses. It would be much better to have a kettle in the room to make tea. And as others have said, there were insufficient power outlets in the room making it hard to charge devices. Again, we asked for and were given a power board, but it would be better if this was supplied in the room so we did not have to keep going and asking for things.

The hotel itself is wonderful, the rooms are spacious and modern, and the lounge area is fabulous. We didn't have a chance to utilise the outdoor swimming pool due to rain, but we had a direct view to it from our room and it looked impeccable. The area is calm and green and allows for nice walks in nature and with a quick 5 minutes drive, you'll be in the heart of the Obidos Vila.

The restaurant in the hotel offeres dinner with a few options, but only one vegetarian option. Additionally the breakfast buffet does not have many gluten free options, other than fruit, eggs, and sausages. I will not rate the experience negatively due to this, because for anyone who does not have food intolerance the food is wonderful and the breakfast buffet is FULL of wonderful cakes and bread! This is just a heads up to anyone considering visiting. Luckily, the town is a short drive from the hotel and there's a vast variety of restaurants to choose from.

It is a great hotel , not too big. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. The food is good . 2 swimming pools. Rooms are big with a huge balcony . 7 min from beautiful obidos, where you can not enter with a car. So we were glad we were just outside the city.very

The very weird thing is that the bath has a window, and you can see the other person taking a shower. If you are sharing your room better with someone, you intimate.

Booked cus was my wedding at the hotel. I got the first ground rooms and i stayed at the 201 room nr. To me that is the best room cus the balcony is huge and you have perfect view to the Óbidos Castle. The bed is super wide too. Loved the room.

The wall from the bathroom to the room is kinda transparent and you can see the person taking shower in a blurry way but still. Still visible, that part i did not like.

The hotel is located just 5 mins drive from Obidos, so super convenient but also really quiet and peaceful. The reception staff were all really friendly and helpful with advice on where to eat and what to see. The hotel has a minimalist feel. We didn’t try the spa, but enjoyed the good sized outdoor pool. It was good for a one night stay, so we got to see Obidos by night and day and have a great meal in the old town.

The walls between rooms could be more soundproofed and the place felt like it could do with a bit of a refresh. I’d like a few more homely touches - plants, pictures etc. But overall it was great for what we needed for an overnight stop.

The breakfast buffet was more than satisfactory.

It would’ve been nice to have had facilities for coffee in the room, and also glasses rather than paper cups. The main problem – and a serious one – with the room, was that there were no convenient charging points for cell phones et cetera.

I had an issue with AC in my room and the staff handled it by giving me a better room at no cost. The first one wasn't the best, saw the TV channels were also not working well, that part of the hotel is accessed by stairs. The second room was great, accessed with elevator, only hope more clients can have that second room at least when it's first stay, if I haven't been there my opinion wouldn't be so good about the hotel. Has free parking space.

The coffee price is high, we ended up buying our breakfast in a supermarket for half the price.

Staff was friendly. Breakfast was more continental like. The rooms were good, but standard hotel rooms. The location is superb and there was free parking available. They also allowed us of later check out, that was a big help before hitting the road to the airport.

There was nothing bad with the rooms, they were standard ones a bit poor looking. The breakfast was continental type, we missed some local favour, but it was good.

The room was clean well decorated and we slept well in the bed. There was a fridge and a safe for your valuables. The bathroom was fully equipped and a reasonable size. Breakfast you could have a full English or Continental and you helped yourself. The pool was of a good size and clean. There was a good lounge with a bar.

Breakfast was great, didn't expect that variety; standard room was spacious, clean; bar was open til midnight (and our stay was off season); staff is friendly and very helpful; a lot of art work though out hotel - creates a more unique vibe.

Lack of sockets - to charge a device you need to unplug lamp; flies in the room (but that's a general Portugal thing as I understand)
