Location was amazing, close to local attractions. Walking distance to Belem tower and Vasco da Gama memorial. Great restaurants nearby. Castille de George a bit of a walk but duoable. Visited the Banksy Museum and club pilates Lisbon while there. Small refrigerator in room, microwave in hallway and coffee downstairs. Large rooms, comfortable beds, private bathrooms, great staff, responsive owners. Felt very safe there alone and in the neighborhood. Great garden area and authentic feel.

Beautiful guesthouse, rooms decorated with impeccable taste and attention to detail. The peaceful garden is a delight in the middle of the city. Hosts are very attentive and helpful. Great value for money. Perfect location for exploring Lisbon and the neighbourhood itself is full of nice restaurants and sights. Highly recommended.

Only downside was the lack of a kettle for making tea - coffee machine downstairs has pods for making tea but not great. Also very few plug sockets in room and the mini-bar is actually just a mini-fridge. Aside from that, we had a jacuzzi in our room but we couldn't get it to work which was a pity.

Minor detail but there is no kettle, just a coffee machine downstairs so tea drinkers may be disappointed. There are pods for making tea in the machine but they aren't the same as real tea. Also there wasn't many electrical sockets in the room and the only rubbish bin was in the bathroom and it was quite small. They also mention a mini-bar in the rooms but it's just a mini-fridge with nothing in it.

Location, location, location. Perfect for walking to every site in Belem. Close to some very good restaurants. Very nice & helpful host. Good communication before booking. Loved the on-site cat that would visit us daily. Rooms all have a country theme and we enjoyed the decoration to match the theme (Africa). No noise from other guestrooms. Very spacious room with patio overlooking lovely garden. Large bathroom, lots of natural light. Comfortable bed. Lots of nice little touches. Plenty of storage for clothing & luggage. Garden had multiple seating/conversation areas. Very peaceful. Even had a hot tub but we didn't try it. Husband loved the coffee set up in the front entry way.

The hosts were wonderful and very friendly. Great directions on the nearby local sites and restaurants. The guesthouse was a beautiful oasis in the heart of Belem. I loved my Asian themed room. Everything inside was clean!

Though I like cats, all of the outdoor cushions had cat fur on them. Maybe using a lint roller everyday will help. Didn't realize the shower door was loose and didn't form a good seal with the bathtub so the floor got wet! Which I mopped up. Just different from the States.

The apartments near Lisbon are a real gem! A perfect blend of comfort and style. The host welcomed us warmly, offered a cup of coffee, and shared insights about local attractions. The presence of a private courtyard, where cute cats reside, added a special touch of charm and coziness. The location allowed us to explore not only Lisbon itself but also other cities in Portugal thanks to the host's recommendations. A big plus was the availability of coffee, tea, and water, which added to the feeling of home comfort. Overall, staying in these apartments was an unforgettable experience, and we will definitely come back here again!

Very nice room, comfortable bed, sofa, a lot of space to keep the clothes, etc. Hosts are very welcoming, offering free coffee tea in the morning, There is a beautiful inner yard, places to relax. Overall, the place is quiet and well kept. All tourist attractions just around the corner, what is very convenient

Minor issue, is the entrance/climbing in/out of the shower (bath), as there is not so much space between shower glass and WC. Just had to be careful.

Staff is very welcoming and friendly. The place has a wonderful and well-kept tidy garden and a small outdoor area which you can use for breakfast or lunch, or just relaxing. I also liked the decor of our room - thought and love definitely went into decorating this hotel and the rooms.

The bed was a bit on the harder side. Some prefer it that way though. We also had to wait a bit to get checked in, the door was locked and nobody responded to our phone calls. Luckily, another guest came out and let us in. Aside from this little inconvenience, all interactions with hotel management were more than pleasant.

It was wonderful, very relaxing but also in walking distance of the main street. Our room was on the first floor with a balcony, we sat out most evening to relax after sightseeing. Wifi was good, room was cleaned everyday, fresh towels when needed. There is a small fridge in the room, great for keeping water and wine cool. A free coffee machine in the reception area, which was easy to use. We was met on arrival by the owner, who showed us around, very helpful about local information. Its about 10/15 minutes walk to train station, you can go into the city Lisbon or to the beautiful beach of Cascais. 5 minute walk from local bus stops. Also 8 minute walk to pick up the local sightseeing open top bus.

The room was a good size with a private bathroom and a mini-fridge. The guest house was situated on a quiet street only a 3 minute walk to the main street and Jeronimo monastery and a few minutes more to the river side and park, where it is lovely to walk with the breeze coming from the river. The house was big and nicely decorated and had a garden with shaded seating areas that we could take advantage of. Finally, we could come and go as we pleased. It is a bit of a distance from downtown, but the Uber cost as well as the bus fares are so low in Lisbon that travelling to downtown is not an issue. Finally a tip for those wanting to visit the monastery. There are two lines to go into the monastery. A very long line to get into the living area and a much smaller line that gives access to the Chapel only. We took this line and got in at no charge and the church was lovely and we decided not to visit the rest.

The communication with the property manager before the check-in went well and he agreed that we could drop off our luggage several hours before the afternoon check-in time so we could go exploring. However, when we arrived at the time we agreed upon, there was no one there to receive us and it took a bit of time to get hold of the manager and get into the property. Some guests smoked in the garden but none in the house which was excellent, but the ashtrays left behind made us somewhat reluctant to make good use of the garden. That being said, we could have simply emptied them in the trash bin.
