+ the location could not be better! It’s right across from the Lille-Flanders station in the middle of a plaza above a number of restaurants. About a 5 minute walk from the center of town and also a 5 minute walk from the Eurorail station + nice bed, nice facilities + was really nice to just have some drinks and hang out on the window seat people watching the square

- minor issue, but the QR code system that was used instead of physical keys was a little annoying to work with

A very cosy room, loved the l’ocitaine toiltries and the salon( breakfast room) where you could get coffee/ tea/ hot chocolate on tap all day ( often with cake) The breakfast was good, a good variety. Worth it if booked with room and you get a deal.

There could have been milk alternatives such as soya, cereals were also not available but there was plenty to eat.

Great location, just a few minutes walking distance from Grand Place and the old city, opposite the main metro hub (Lille-Flandres) and 5min. walk from the train hub Lille-Europe. Monuments, restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, shops, literary everything near by. Comfortable room, not very large, but descent. Big TV screen. Very polite personel/reception. Rooms soundproof enough considering that the hotel is located opposite the buzy train station area of Gare Lille-Flandres. Good heating/hot water facilities. Totally recommend Rosa hotel for someone who wants to stay in a good quality hotel for a few days, in walking distance to every major spot in the city centre and to have the easiest access to metro/bus.

Small elevator, narrow corridors and staircase, but it is expected in an old building. QR code key to enter the building. If you are not familiar with this, it will need a bit of time to get used to it, but it actually works pretty fine. Check your inbox for a email regarding your personal QR code, once you make your booking, and have a hard copy on paper just in case your cell phone...runs out of battery before you enter the hotel. No real complain on this though. It would be better if the hotel had 24h reception. The hotel is not as expensive as some other near the Grand Place, but it is a bit pricey for a 3star hotel. In its defence the neighbouring 3star hotels are not much cheaper, either.

Beautiful hotel and room very near to the station so central for the town's shops and sights as well as getting out of town. Room had everything you'd need and all of high quality. A very high standard of cleanliness and options to have a "green" clean rather than a deep clean every day - this was perfectly sufficient. Friendly staff and lounge area open all day.

No tea/coffee in room (although there was access to these facilities in the lounge area) Breakfast area was a bit crowded - don't know if it was just a busy few days but it was difficult to move around and for the staff to keep up with demand. Breakfast was tasty though.

I found the staff at the hotel were very friendly (contrary to some other reviewers). Our room wasn’t quite ready at 3 so we were able to make use of the small but beautifully decorated dining room/lounge and help ourselves to tea, coffee and cakes which were available for guests all day. Room was ready at 3.20 and the receptionist took all our luggage up and left it into the room for us. The QR code key worked fine and breakfast was great, especially the waffle maker. We had a triple room with view out to the station and a small double which was very small but we did know this in advance. If I went again I’d upgrade to a bigger room but we only stayed one night to visit Christmas markets so not a problem. Everything was very clean and obviously recently decorated/renovated. I would definitely recommend and stay again in future. Close to all the main attractions and lots of bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Parked in Lille-Flandres station car park - all undercover and just a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Nothing.

The decor was lovely and there were lots of thoughtful details. From the reception to the rooms to the breakfast area, everything was very compact but a lot of thought had gone into use of the available space including clever storage. The bed was very comfortable and staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The room was tiny, even though it wasn’t the smallest available- difficult to move around the bed and to get dressed. I definitely wouldn’t have wanted another person in the room! There was only one small window at ceiling level but the installation of a daylight-effect ceiling light helped. In my companion’s room the air conditioning and door lock were broken, although staff were very helpful and an alternative room was offered. The QR codes for the doors didn’t always work well.

The hotel's location is fantastic, with everything just a short distance away. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful, and I greatly appreciated that my request for a top-floor room was accommodated. While the room was small, it was charming, practical, and spotlessly clean. I was pleasantly surprised by the welcome gift, though I would have preferred something other than alcohol. The wooden stairs added a delightful touch of character to the hotel.

Breakfast was a bit of a challenge due to the limited space in the food serving area. The lack of ventilation in the breakfast area was also a downside, especially when some guests burned waffles in the waffle maker, which quickly became noticeable. A small fridge in the room would have been a welcome addition. The elevator was tiny, and the wait time was often quite long. Unfortunately, I had some trouble activating the QR code to access the room.

The room was smart and very clean with a spotless bathroom. Although the hotel is in a busy location the windows were effective in keeping out the noise from below. Best of all for us was the location opposite the train station as we had a very early start and could just walk across the road.

The hotel served our purpose very well. The room is small, but perfectly adequate for one or two night's stay. We left too early for breakfast but there was fruit available on our floor so that was great.

A lovely small hotel, very stylish and well designed and well thought out, in a great location.

We had extremely high hopes of this hotel having read many excellent reviews and we would echo the positivity with just one caveat - we didn’t find it as immaculately clean as others and the lack of round the clock housekeeping showed. If this detail could be addressed then it would be a most amazing place to stay. Please do not let the upkeep be neglected, that would be such a shame.

It was clean, check-in went smoothly (self check-in with qr code provided before arriving), located very close to the city centre and the railway station.

The room was quite small, with limited space for our luggage. Finding a parking spot can be challenging, but there are options such as the Euralille parking at approximately 25 euros for 24 hours. Street parking may be a better alternative if a spot is available nearby. Despite these inconveniences, I still enjoyed my stay at the place.
