The room was very large and well appointed. The spa bath was large and the room was cool and very pleasant. The location was good, being close to many places of interest. The staff were helpful and the breakfast buffet was fabulous - it was different every day, with lots of hot and cold choices - Thai and European. We never needed lunch after our big breakfast. The pool was lovely and refreshing after a hot day out and it was not full of noisy guests.

The room did not have tea making facilities despite that being advertised. It had only a noodle maker that could warm water but not boil it! The shower would often not get warm unless we let the water run for about 10 to 15 minutes first which was very wasteful and we did not know the first few days so had cold showers.

The location is amazing. Its right at the old town but somehow feels very secluded. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is great.

House keeping service did a quick job so the baby bed wasnt cleaned at all the entire week unless we did it, sometimes they forgot to restock soaps and didnt provide enough towels for the amount of people in the room. Also, the restaurant service never answers calls (at the pool or from the room) which was annoying. I think those things are easy fixes to really improve the level of the hotel.

Well located hotel! Just by Saturday night market, and also if you, like us, likes to explore by foot. The pool area was great as well. Rooms were cleaned daily and our room was spacious with a small balcony. Overall a good stay for a reasonable price.

There were plenty of options at the breakfast, but it was not for us at all. It felt like the quality of the food was very poor. They did have plenty of options for Thaifood though and some fruits.

The hotel is a beautiful boutique Thai style hotel which I love, with a beautiful garden and lovely antique nicnac's all around. The staff are very friendly and lovely. The pool is fantastic, breakfast ample, laundry very efficient and reasonable. The location is excellent, right in the middle of the old city. Plenty of cafe's and restaurants within walking distance. This was our 4th stay here.

Nothing, but it's not everyone's taste, as it is dark old wood in the rooms, not clinical white, like some people like. (which personally I detest.)

Good location and nice staff.

Need maintenance. Seems like falling apart. The bed squeaks on each single movement. A chair in the room almost disassembled when moving it. Hotel style is kind of vintage but it does not feel vintage. It feels just old lacking maintenance. Shower is small and the showers glass door is asking for an enhancement. Tiles colour in the bathroom are ugly. Room pictures seem too good. Reality is quite different.

Loved the breakfast buffet. Loved comfy bed, room size, bathroom size and toiletries provided were shampoo, Shower gel. Shower cap, q tips, toothbrush and small toothpaste, robes, slippers. We had the superior king bed. Small balcony but we didn't hang out there. Clothes drying rack was helpful!!! Washed small items and hung them dry overnight. Air conditioner worked great. Great location..near Zira spa. Must go there. It's just a few minutes walk away. Friendly staff. Clean. Bright and comfy. Highly recommend.

If I have to say one thing....I didn't like the air con facing the bed because it blew on me while sleeping but each room has a different setup. If this is very important to you, ask about this.

Perfect location. Can walk around with lots to see. Close to an awesome food market with lots of choice, shops, bars,temples, massage places. Nice cold deep pool so refreshing after a big day. Local family friendly hotel. The male staff member at restaurant was so friendly and helpful providing drink service by the pool . Thank you

More vegetarian options for breakfast buffet would’ve been nice. Also one of the rooms we booked sadly had no natural light and the only window in bathroom was facing the wall of building next door. Rooms on higher level were much better and amazing views

The quiet setting surrounded by plants yet in the centre of the old town. The frogs croaking in the small water areas in the evenings was delightful. The swimming pool was refreshing and surrounding area a lovely place to sit for a while. Breakfast was taken in a pleasant area with no enclosed walls. The whole hotel was a nice place to be. The room was large with a balcony to sit out on. A clothes rack was much appreciated. As always helpful staff who booked a trip for us, going above what we expected them to do.

A kettle rather than a water boiler thingy would probably have been more effective in heating water for coffee more quickly.

Great cosy hotel.Great location, walking distance to all main attractions.Lots of temples. The room was spacious, staff very kind and helpful.we stayed 3 nights , luckily a weekend , Saturday night market, Sunday night market and the bazaar market. You can walk everywhere , it s in the old quarter , lots of history. There s a small cafe just next to the hotel if you are hungry , cheap and cheerful. The breakfast was a bit of everything , it should match everyone taste, bread , fruits, Thai food, salad. A pool to relax in the afternoon heat.

We loved everything

Great ambience on entry. Excellent location, walkable to wats, close to 7-11 and museums. Spacious clean room with space for all bags, lots of useful furniture. Balcony facing morning sun. Bed 4-poster, comfortable with choice of pillows. AC quiet and worked well. Bathroom with good hot shower and a corner bath, ample toiletries. Housekeeping impeccable, always available within minutes, kept room clean unobtrusively. Reception staff friendly and helpful.

The only flaw in this superb package was the unimaginative breakfast, which was limited, uninspiring and monotonous. The ultimate no-no for me was to see potato wedges thoughtlessly sprinkled with bacon - thus ruining it for people with dietary restrictions, who already had limited choices. Such a superb hotel should do better.
