Very homely place to stay. Attention to details with cosy seating area with cushions, fresh flowers. Well equipped kitchen which was shared with 2 other rooms. The Breakfast was self service but everything was provided freshly in the kitchen: bread, Fruit and jogurts available, coffee and tea available as required. Dishwasher and washing machine oven and hob. The owner was friendly and provided lots of information via the booking app and WhatsApp. The location was good for us as we wanted to be near the station. Supermarkets close by if you want to self cater. Close to a board walk which takes you along the river and all the way to the harbour if you want a nice walk or stroll (lots of benches).

Breakfast was a self-service meal with ample choice and variety of cereals, bread and fruit, tea and coffee. The table was in a room across the corridor from the kitchen. There were nice views from the windows and the was a good variety of furniture.

On booking, we did not realise that we would be sharing with other people. There were two steep staircases to reach the property but each had strong convenient hand rails so did not cause any problems but the property would need careful assessment before a booking made for a person with limited mobility.

So comfortable in every way, great bedding, beautifully decorated throughout, breakfast was fresh breads,butter, jams, fruit, yoghurt, cakes, awesome coffee machine with tasty coffee, tea, olive oil and salt to use, full kitchen with cooking equipment, awesome heaters throughout, top floor of the house plus another level upstairs to sit, with only one other room rented, bath and shower, towels, complete privacy and respectful host, walk to everything and all the way to the next town by waterfront path or across Bridge 5 minutes to Spain

Nothing it was perfect, exceeded my expectations

The owner was friendly and helpful, the room (with ensuite shower) was pleasant. We hadn't been expecting much given it was a quick overnight stop between trains but it had a warm and friendly feel.

It was a bit further from the Hendaye station than we'd expected (our bad) and lugging our baggage out there was a bit of a chore. This would have been mitigated if we'd been directed to use the boardwalk along the river ... we used this to get back to the station.

What a beautiful place to stay. The living room, the bathroom, the bedroom, kitchen. All beautifully designed and decorated, bright but also cosey. Tea, coffee, fruit, bread, cereals, it's all there. And a great garden to relax in. Gives you the perfect summer feeling. It might be a bit too far to walk to the main beach, but there are bikes at the house, which you can use for free, for a beautiful ride on the cycling path along the shore which will take you to the harbor and the beaches of Hendaye in 10 minutes. Truly recommendable.

Nothing we can think of.

After a long day of short hops on various forms of transport, I arrived at the HOR DAGO. It was about 9:00 in the evening. The owner came out and guided me in. It’s small house but it had everything, including a huge assortment of breakfast foods. Everything was super clean and very well thought out. Very friendly and helpful lady.

I didn’t have much luck with the hot water, but knowing me, I probably missed something. It was way too late to bother the woman so I showered quickly.

The property’s location is a quiet and pretty residential area, handy for the station and for the bus to the beach. Communication with the host, Antonina was excellent and, when I met her she was friendly and helpful. The bedroom was light, airy and comfortable, with everything I needed. It was clear that the hosts have given a lot of thought about what will make their guests’ stay special. All rooms are spotlessly clean, the kitchen is well-equipped and well-stocked with various breakfast treats as well as a coffee machine. the garden is beautiful.

A minor issue but there was an overpowering smell of air freshener when I arrived.

Well located for Hendaye Station for arriving late from San Sebastian and catching an early morning train to Paris. Comfortable attic room with ensuite, with access to a shared dining/lounge space. Range of produce provided in the kitchen for a self-service breakfast. Excellent host.

Tall travellers need to watch their heads in the bedroom and some might find the stepped access difficult.

Very comfortable homely environment with access to lounge area and well stocked kitchen. DIY breakfast available so can choose when to have it. Short walk to river boardwalk and 15 min max walk to the railway station. Good views over distant mountains. We only stayed for one night but wished we could have stayed longer.

Bit of a trek to Hendaye centre for those on foot but bicycles are available

Location was very good as was the welcome

For some reason, on our second night there the radiator in our room was boiling hot. We turned it off but opening windows led to some insects flying in. In the morning, we found that other radiators in the building had also come on. Not sure why or how this occurred. We left early so did not find out what had happened. The property is lovely and very tranquil. I guess this was a blip of some kind.
