Staff was really friendly. Not sure the ladies name at the front desk with the really short hair, had a smile and very friendly. Knew her job, was very pleasant to work with. The owner would say when he walked around the parking lot.

Not sure what more you could do for a budget motel. It had a few cosmetic issues that most people would fix at home but don't take a second look at while on vacation, or even notice. The 3 button didn't work on the remote.

The property was overall very clean and well organised. It was nice not to worry about room service coming into the room due to me leaving electronics out.

While the insides of the property were amazing, the outside did leave a little to be desired. There was random trash about that I would see left after multiple days. However, other than that it was a good experience

I was very pleased with my room. The staff were all very nice and accommodating and the room itself was beautifully styled. I've seen other reviews mentioning a recent renovation and my room seems to have been one of those renovated because it was so nice and up to date. The bathroom in particular was designed so well. The bed and pillows were comfortable and there was little noise from outside so I was able to rest. I would definitely recommend staying here for anyone who would want a nice room on a budget

The towels were a bit scratchy but everything else was great

The staff were great and so kind/accommodating, location was ideal. I saw the sunrise in the morning from my room. My son goes to Humboldt which was why I decided to get a room in Arcata. Looked like everything was freshly remodeled and the price was less than half of what surrounding hotels are charging. Almost everything in the room looked relatively new. So I based my review on economics, proximity, helpfulness and cleanliness.

I like the location it's right next to entitle l everything.

I was unable to check out due to unforeseen circumstances but planned on getting another night and ended up losing my deposit and having to another one and the reason I was given was because they couldn't rent the room that night but seeing as I rented it again and for two more nights feel like I should be able to get my deposit back.

Quiet. Nice price.

The bed was very high. I'm 5'6" and could not get into bed. It was up to my belly button. Needed a step to get in. Lower the frame for smaller people.

Surprised me how nice this motel was. Normally I’m nervous to stay in a motel but they just redid it. New beds new everything. It was really nice. You can hear all the trucks and cars but it’s not too bad. There’s nothing that motel cant really do about that because it’s in an area where there’s a lot of traffic.

The place was updated, clean and the owner was really helpful with whatever questions/concerns we had.

The rooms are kind of small. But we were just there to sleep.

Of the 3 hotels on our trip you are the only one that had a REAL handicapped shower. She could not take a shower for the first 2 nights, even though we had reserved a handicapped room each night. We we sooo happy to see a roll in shower with a seat.

A couple of hairs in the shower. Handicapped room did not have enough room to maneuver a wheelchair chair in. 2 towels for 2 people who want to swim then take showers is not enough. Come on people, you charge a freaking fortune, you can wash 2 extra towels. No shampoo.
