Staff were welcoming and efficient, good check-in experience is important. Glass of cava was very much appreciated. We enjoyed the breakfast, and had an evening meal which was OK. Our room was clean and nicely decorated. Bed comfy and shower amazing! Roof terrace is great and was quiet when we were there. Great to catch some autumn sun.

Room was small - not huge issues but: Very limited wardrobe space Nowhere to store cases No mirror to do make up in room No hooks on the back of the door for coats No draws to store ‘stuff’ Weak hairdryer - bring your own. Bring water as after first night they charge €3 for a small bottle.

Staff are great and always there to help. Excellent breakfast with cooked options to order. Really comfy beds. Great bathrooms, great showers. Excellent wifi. Brilliant bar on roof with great service. Great location very close to all main activity.

Wardrobe and storage space is limited. There are occasional drain smells, but this is Europe and that's what you get sometimes.

Great location very close to the old city with plenty of bars, restaurants etc. lovely roof top bar area in the hotel. Very nice touch stocking the minibar with some drinks for free. Everything was spotlessly clean. The check in was excellent and in particular Matthias pointed out lots of areas of interest on a map, told us hotel could organise bike hire etc.

The fact that the lovely rooftop bar was only open one night out of the four nights we stayed .

Hotel is close to the main street, which could be a bit noisy because of traffic. However, that is understandable if you want to stay in the centre.

Considering its a 4* hotel, it felt like 5* - complimentary glass of cava on arrival, we arrived early and our room was ready, complimentary soft drinks, beers and chocolate in the room! Rooms were nice, clean modern, we had a nice view from our balcony.

Breakfast was underwhelming and probably wouldn’t include next time. It was at the reception area, so not a separate space, and had very little variety, mostly just some cakes and mini pastries and fruit. However there was a separate menu where you could order dishes such as eggs.

We think that, for a 4-star hotel, it was expensive, although the staff were friendly, welcoming, and very attentive. The room was clean and well looked after, but, for a corner room, it felt cramped. If we had known the room would feel like that, we would most certainly have booked an alternative hotel. We had dinner on one night in the hotel, but again, as a 4-star hotel, it was sadly disappointing - surely the meal should have been presented on warm/hot plates - unbelievable really that we had a meal that was going cold within minutes.

Breakfast was really tasty, with lots of choice and fresh food. Can be busy though as space is limited, so on 1 day we had to wait for a free table. Could do with a few more tables and staff to keep foods and crockery refilled. The rooftop bar was a great bonus as wasn't busy when we visited. Welcome drink and little nibbles were a welcome treat for when we arrived. Room was soundproofed from the road noise outside and nice view back over the old town city.

No towel rail in the bathroom, or glasses to use in the bathroom (we'd used the 2 supplied with the room for drinks and don't want to mix). Tissues would also be handy as toilet roll isn't great quality.

Very friendly staff, centrally located, all amenities close by.
