The friendliness of the staff, their ability to adapt the organization to the marathon runners and their good advice. The kitchen and the dining/living room are well furnished and well organized, the ideal environment to share time and experience with the other guests.

First of the location is excellent. And this is not exaggerated for review points. Right in the centre of the historical town and nearby to pretty much a lot of good restaurants, museums and public transport. A 5-12min walk and you're already near a bus station or subway. All major museums or sight seeing locations are within walking distance. There is no need for taxi/uber or public transport. For the beach you get the public transport: Very convinient and relaxed. Tip: Get a 10-ride card, which is only 4 euros. Because a single trip costs 1,50. Note: The transfer from airport is more expensive as you need to pay a special zone fee. Hostels are what you expect: high social interaction but logically less privacy (unless you book a solo room) and decent comfort. Generally 9/10 times a hostel isn't designed for comfort, hence the lower price. Instead of bunk beds, the hostel did opt for single beds in rooms with multiple people. You don't feel like sardines in a can which is in my opinion a plus. Even though I dined outside, the kitchen is well equipped with all your basic needs for cooking simple meals. The breakfast option offered is basic (cereals, bread, eggs, cheese, ham, etc) and helps you start the day which is fine for me. Staff is friendly, well versed in English and social. One of the staff "forced" us (it became a challenge due personal honour!) to find 10 drunk cats hidden in the common area. 11/10 would play again.

Not a real dislike but a heads up: You're in the city centre. Expect loud / noise from outside as merry and joyful folks pass the streets. People inside the hostel logically come and go the entire day and night. So if you're "allergic" to this, either get a personal room or maybe book a hotel. My only minor dislike: The pillows for me were a little hard. And for some reason all of them are very wide and thick in size. The hardness I got used to, but why the wideness and thickness?

This place is like a home, let me give you brief Check in : I checked in at 4am and IVO at reception was so helpful for the smooth checkin at night. Room: they have 3 floors with spacious rooms /bunk beds. Best is they have single beds instead of piles of bunks over one another so you feel like being in a hotel. Breakfast: they have a heartful of breakfast even though you are a vegetarian. Location: this is in the middle of old city, 50 meters is the central market, which is the main tourist point. Staff: IVO: he is the heart of the hostel, a guy from Argentina who is an architect but lives his dream of traveling here. I love him and this hostel gets 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ just because of this guy. Booba and one girl at reception: they are smooth, loving and always helpful. Local tours: we took their free walking tour and the guys was knowledgeable, and knew small small details about the city so a big yes for the tour. Loved being in the hostel which actually runs like a home. PS: kitchen is super sexy. Take care IVO and thank you for treating us like a family.

ok I hadn't stayed in a hostel in ages so was apprehensive about staying in a hostel but home youth exceeded my expectations..very friendly staff.. excellent facilities and comfortable rooms..an excellent communal area and silence after midnight..the culture of the hostel is all about inclusiveness and a very friendly atmosphere plus I arrived very late and the guy on reception was brilliant..plus the girl on the reception Duda is a star

I would have liked an bathroom in the room but there was one in the main communal area . didn't have the breakfast but looked to be great value

This hostel hugely exceeded my expectations! The location is perfect and very safe, everything is so close and walkable. Really clean rooms and facilities. Rooms were spacious and not overcrowded because of the single beds rather than bunk beds. Lockers were also very spacious. Staff were very friendly and created a very sociable environment offering walking tours and bar crawls. Free luggage storage and use of facilities after check out was handy!

It would be nice if there were more toilets/showers as I sometimes had to wait during peak times. AC didn’t work in our room for part of my stay so it was very warm at nighttime.

I ❤️ the stuff, the place, interior, higene and ofc people I met. Stuff is a lot of fun but still professional and helpful. They make the atmosphere home-like and by things like carrying on Trivia - Quiz make it easier to get to know with other resident. The big table in the kitchen also proofs useful for meating. Location is right in the middle of Old Town do it couldn't be better. Interior has patio-like with covered roof ofc so you get a lot of sunlight.

I'm 195cm tall and if I'd sleep upright I wouldn't feet the bed. Luckily most of us (me included) sleeps on the side.

The location is great, in the heart of Valencia. The hostal hosts activities some nights were every body meets each other and have fun. the staff is super friendly and always caring you are having a nice stay. Toilet was the best of the trip, they were always spotless clean all the time! Our room was in the ground floor, so we couldnt avoid the noise surrounds until midnight, but we knew what we were signing for, usual hostel atmosphere, plus in the centre of Valencia adds a layer of noise, but yet the beds were super comfy and we had good night's sleep from midnight to sunrise. I would recommend this place a lot, we were impressed. Excellent for a short visit to Valencia.

Everything. The hostel is in a great location right next to the famous market and a short walk from some of the main squares. The hostel itself is super cosy and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very sociable between the guests and the hostel hosts some events such as sangria night etc so if you fancy having a drink while you socialise then you can and if you would like to party then they have an organised pub crawl that people can then go out to. Even though people may be having a drink in the hostel, it never became rowdy and felt comfortable for both party and non party seeking guests. The breakfast was nice and the free tea is appreciated. They also have a free walking tour in the morning which I went to and enjoyed. Something I appreciated, that I haven't seen in other hostels, is that the lights to each bed were dimmable so if people were sleeping you could set it to a low light so you could still see but not be blinding the others in the room. I've stayed in a lot of hostels and this is the first one I have seen with dimmable bed lights. This is very practical for guests and was also appreciated. The plug to each bed was also appreciated. I feel this hostel understands the smaller details that are very helpful for guests and they have these things covered. I really enjoyed my stay there and wish I'd stayed longer in Valencia and this hostel.

By far the best hostel experience I’ve had - social, safe, spacious, clean and comfortable. From the staff to the fellow travellers, I had a really great time staying here. Location is so central and the social activities with partner hostels were a lot of fun and great way to meet people. The team were really lovely and make a real effort to get to know you by name. Laundry services were also worth it - clothes came out smelling divine and all folded with love.

Honestly the nicest thing were the ppl there, as in the workers(the travelers too ofc☝️). Rlly made you feel welcome and stuck around with the general crowd after their shift. Can’t even give a shout out to one person in particular because they were ALL very cutesy.

If I HAD to name one thing it would probably be that there are no places to put your stuff in the bathroom. Please I need an area to put my enormous bathroom bag…
