Casa Izeba was truly a delightful surprise! An incredible boutique hotel emerging from a classical mexican residence that belonged to the owner’s parents and grandeparents. This hidden gem was renovated with the best taste in interior design creating a modern yet cosy environment for a great stay in Mexico City. The amenities and rooms are all of great taste and comfort. The location of Casa Izeba is simply the place to be, in the midst of the trendiest streets of Roma Norte and walking distance to all the best restaurants, including the best and most famous bakery Panadería Rosetta of which we are lucky enough to have a taste of some of their fresh goods every morning at the delicious breakfast offered at the hotel. The owner and all of the staff were extremely helpful and made sure we had the best start to our honeymoon by providing great service, helpful, kind and making us feel at home. The only things we regret are not having stayed longer, not being able to purchase all the amazing furniture and not being able to keep Casa Izeba as our little secret! If you’re looking for a place to stay in Mexico City, look no further. We absolutely loved it!

Nothing. Loved everything

Overall, a beautifully designed and comfortable hotel. The room (suite with the bathtub) was very clean and spacious. Bed is very comfortable. Breakfast consisted of fruit, yogurt, granola, coffee and delicious pastries from famous Rosetta bakery next door. There's a rooftop deck with several places to relax. All of the staff were exceptionally helpful and kind. The location is excellent, on one of Roma's loveliest streets. We loved our stay, and cannot wait to visit again!

The cleaning product used in common areas smelled a bit too strong. Sometimes it was noisy due to other guests walking up and down in the hallway - perhaps some rugs in the common areas/rooms would help absorb the sounds/echo.

The location was amazing, right on the main street of Roma Norte. The breakfast was simple but nice. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Rooftop views were lovely.

Getting in when I arrived was a little confusing. They should send guests instructions on how to get buzzed in when you arrive. A filtered water dispenser would be nice to have in the guest area as well.

Wonderful! They had items from the bakery next door and yogurt with fruit, coffee and juice. Amazing location close to many shops, restaurant/bars. Staff was very attentive.

Only possible negative thing - you had to be buzzed in to enter front door, but they were prompt with answering most of the time

Location of hotel is located in Roma Norte a very trendy historical, safe and central area of Mexico City . Close to many of the main sites of Mexico City . The property is located in a very stylishly renovated old mansion . The room was large and the bed very comfortable. The shower had hot and comfortable water pressure . Anna was one of the staff and she spoke English perfectly and was very helpful in booking tours and transport . The property was very clean and the rooftop terrace was beautiful . Filtered water in the room was appreciated .

My room was located on the ground floor beside an inner courtyard. The sliding door and window of my room let in noise from the courtyard particularly when music was being played in the courtyard and in the morning when people ate breakfast in the courtyard . When asked the music was turned off . The bathroom had no counter space which was strange and not convenient and lighting in the room and bathroom was very low. No bidet or hand held shower option . The breakfast was very simple and mediocre and was repeated every day.

Location was central to shops, restaurants and museums. Breakfast was wonderful with pastries from acclaimed chef! The hotel was decorated beautifully and tastefully with art pieces showcased. Rooms had all amenaties! Bed was very comfortable. Staff was accommodating and gave perfect recommendations!

I am so glad that Brick was full! It came up as first on the search engine- but Casa Izeba is cozy, central, warm and inviting. We felt like we had made new friends and family upon departure!

The staff was excellent and friendly. This is a beautiful home that has been turned into a small hotel with 8 rooms. There are lovely areas to sit including an outstanding roof garden with multiple areas for privacy and tables where one can bring food to eat. We stayed in an attic room which were recently constructed. They are built to the highest quality and taste. The bathroom was excellent and we had a small balcony with two chairs that we used frequently. The location in Roma is terrific. Some of the best restaurants in the city and easy to use Metrobus to get around.

We didn’t mind this, but others may. It was three flights of steps up to our room. The staff was lovely and carried our luggage. Some may find the price steep for a fairly small room (over $400 a night).

Everything was just perfect! This boutique hotel is amazing, decoration of common spaces is wonderful (we loved yellow stairs), rooms are very cosy. They also have a nice rooftop. Location is great as well for exploring Roma Norte. Breakfast with bakery from Rosetta and yogurt with granola is very delicious. Some complementary snacks are provided (like fruits/ice creams) which is really nice. Stuff was very helpful and friendly, they helped us with each and every request we had. Cannot wish a better place to stay!

They do not have parking, so you need to use paid parkings nearby.

Absolutely delightful stay at Casa Izeba! The service here is top-notch with an incredibly attentive staff that greets you warmly every time you come and go. Each welcome is accompanied by a tasty little snack, adding a personal touch that makes all the difference. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a welcoming and attentive experience!

I stayed on the third floor, which doesn’t have an elevator. This wasn't a problem for me, but if you prefer avoiding stairs, consider requesting a lower floor

They were so incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our entire stay. The house is gorgeous. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was a lovely living room area, courtyard area, and even rooftop area, all filled with art, books, and plants.

The only thing I'd suggest is for them to lower the height of the shower. I'm not sure how other rooms were, but in our room, the shower was extremely high up so it took a long time to wash our hair. Other than that, everything was incredible!
