I stayed at mermaids for a total of 24 nights, the hotel is very clean and the rooms are very nice and clean too, every member of staff I came into contact with were all really nice, they all had a smile and friendly too, the pool was great, it had a built in jacuzzi which was lovely to use, and while I was there the poolside bar opened for business which was great, the hotel is in a great position, just minutes away from bars, restaurants, the local market, the beach, baht bus and shops, the sou is a bit noisy late at night, but that's not the hotels fault, there is also a little bit of on going work still going on in the hotel but it did not in any way effect my stay, there is a microwave in the dining area for all to use which is a great idea, I really enjoyed my stay here and would have no hesitation staying again, Thank you to all the staff and to my room maid who was a lovely and did a great job keeping my room clean ❤️

On arrival we had been booked into a room somewhat remote from the reception and parking area without a lift but when we explained that I have mobility issues we were very kindly changed to a wonderful room close to parking , bar, reception and a lift so all good. The hotel is ideally located within a 100 metres or so of the beach, close to bars and facilities. Breakfast was probably one of the best we have experienced in Jomtien in many years of visiting. Not so sumptu2ous as some in Bangkok, but more than adequate to kick off the day.

Nothing really to dislike, only noted that we chose Mermaid because the blurb said it had a lift then we had initially been booked to a room without same. But, ultimately, all good.

A really great little Hotel. Fantastic location just back from the beach. Great little restaurants nearby. Bars across the lane if that’s your thing, but plenty of other options if it’s not. The pool space is beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Nothing. We really enjoyed our stay at Mermaids. Exactly as expected and described. Great value for the $ paid. Cannot fault the place. Beds are hard… but so is every bed in a hotel in Thailand.

The building that my room was in has been renovated very recently. In fact, there were no signs that anyone else had even stayed in my room before. It was extremely clean and comfortable. Internet was extremely fast and reliable. The pool area is very nice

There is some renovation work going on in the hotel during the day. It did not bother me, but it may bother some. The location is in an alley that has many bars. It is a bit loud in the evenings, but everything becomes quiet around midnight.

The lady working at breakfast was fantastic! We enjoyed talking and seeing her everyday. Good location Nice pool

Reception staff were not super friendly Not enough lounge chairs for the amount of people around the pool Lots of smokers outside the pool view rooms (we are not smokers and struggled with the smell in our room. Wish there was more options for food during the day

Nicely renovated hotel with great facilities in the heart of Jomtien not far from the beach. I've already booked for when I'm back in Thailand in April

It is newly renovated, and still going on ( August 2023). Room was neat, comfy bed Good location

Be aware, it is just opposite street bars, some nights there was loud music until midnight but not every night

the staff were all brilliant, especially the reception lady Pek she could not have been more helpful. the pool is really good

the noise from the street is the only negative I could say, but knowing that it's a busy nightlife street that is to be expected

Spacious bedroom with balcony over looking the pool. Lovely shower room. Swimming pool good size. Location great for the beach, resturants and bars

Could do with a bit more storage facilities in bedroom. No iron in room or at reception to borrow
