Perfectly standard Japanese business hotel in a great location with a pretty good breakfast. This fits the bill. You know what you're getting with a place like this. What you need to know is that it is only a few hundred metres from Kushiro JR Stn, and only a few minutes stroll from Kushiro Washou fish market where you're going to get your "kattendon" for breakfast. (That is why you're coming to Kushiro, right? Well, it should be!) Nusamai Bridge and Fisherman's Wharf Moo are a ten minute walk away. That's where you'll be going for dinner.

They were not very accommodating when it came to our motorbike. They wouldn't allow us to use the carpark (one of those cool elevator ones) and had me park in a little alley behind the building. It was a locked, secure area but... there was no cover and it was a little difficult to get in and out of. Ah well. We all survived.

Well situated, within a 5-7 min walk to the JR station. The front desk were accommodating. We turned up early and wanted to leave our bags. Since their lockers were all full, they took our cases and gave us a storage number. We booked a "non smoking" room but apparently all the rooms are non smoking and smoking is only allowed in the smoking booth outside. The room did not smell either way and was very clean. We particularly liked the wide entranceway which meant we had space to leave our large suitcase open and walk around it! Unheard of! The double bed was against the wall but this is quite common in Japan and didn't pose any issues for us. Shower pressure was good and the bathtub comfy. Breakfast was simple but enjoyable. Standard choices of rice, soup and a couple of hot dishes but also had 2 types of smoothie (which were fresh and delicious, a definite standout for us) and cereal. Overall we thought our stay was good value for money.

The tv was quite small but we didn't really use it.

The reception staff were very warm and friendly, professional and helpful. While English is not their first language, they communicated with us (non-Japanese speakers) very well. Our room was very clean, the twin beds were comfortable and the wifi was good. Hot water was plentiful and there was good water pressure. Our room was cleaned and fresh towels were supplied daily, which was a nice bonus. Breakfast was good. The hotel is very close to the main rail station.

There is no lounge area in the hotel, so all your time has to be spent in your (small, but average for Japan) room. Breakfast on our last day was a total disaster. We arrived in the breakfast area early, only to find that there was no breakfast to be eaten. Every scrap of food had run out. There were no staff on duty for breakfast, so nothing could be replenished until Reception got free from checking customers out. Refills happened in a very haphazard way, with not much more food being provided, and that very, very slowly. Apart from that fiasco, I would have rated the hotel a 9 or 10, not 8.

This was our 2nd time staying in this hotel while in Kushiro. Front desk staffs were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Higuchi. We would like to thank him for his wonderful service - he spent over one hour helping us booking winter activities and restaurants, whatever we asked for. Great location, 1-2 minutes walking to JR Kushiro station and bus terminal, 3 minutes walk to the popular Washo market. The room is small, but clean and comfy. Value for the money was far beyond my expectation. The price included free breakfast buffet. We loved our stay.

Some of the mattresses were not very comfortable for the older people in our party.

This hotel was simply great. Great value given the location (few steps away from the JR station), level of cleanliness, and complimentary buffet-style breakfast. Rooms were quiet, with a small fridge and a kettle, private bathroom, fresh towels, heating, toothbrushes, slippers, pajamas etc. Wifi worked well and the elevators were quick.

Some staff spoke almost no English. Communication mainly via translation apps, but still made everything work.

Fantastic location so close to Kushiro train and bus station. Comfy bed with a top sheet. Also the window opened which was great. Great soundproofing too. Only a little noise from room next door. Fantastic value with a good complimentary breakfast that had delicious smoothies. I liked the matcha tea that was provided and you could turn the fridge on and off.

The bathroom was small.

It is in a good location by the railway station. We could check in very late. The staff is friendly and courteous. We could even park bikes in a secure area. Breakfast is included in the price. The room and bathroom are clean. We were satisfied.

Be careful to sign up for breakfast earlier in the morning (there is a ticket system), as there is not much remaining to eat at a later hour.

The hotel is very close to Kushiro station, but sadly all the eateries were around Nusamai Bridge, which is about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Facilities were good. There is a microwave for guest use in the cafeteria and you're allowed to enjoy your reheated bento there. There's also an ice dispenser on the 2/F which is quite nice if you'd like to have a super cold drink or two. Free breakfast is available at the hotel from 05:30 - 09:00 (09:30 on the weekends). There weren't many choices, but all of them were surprisingly delicious. Fruit and vegetable smoothies were served as well so it's a healthy way to start your day.

The pillows were a bit too thin.

This hotel was so comfortable and just across the road from the Train Station. The room was a great size for Japanese standards. The breakfast was great. The only thing was we only got to stay there one night. The staff were so friendly. We will make sure we stay longer if we come back. Thanks for having us.

welcome by the counter staff w good English. very friendly and helpful. she helped us to call a cab. we were able to check early as requested due to the availability. breakfast was good and healthy. nice breakfast place.

lights in the room was not able to give me proper dim lights. it had to turn off the entire room light or to switch on all.
