I liked everything. The rooms are new and very clean, with a nice-sized TV, the bathroom is large and well-appointed. The wifi worked well and was speedy. The breakfast is about what you'd expect, nothing to complain about but didn't knock my socks off.

I would have rated the hotel exceptional for the money, except that i did the online check out at around 8am, and it turned off our room keys immediately, even though we chose 11am checkout. Also, I think there could be a little more information in the room about the property itself. It might have been there, but I didn't see anything about the restaurant, which I think they could promote more. We didn't try the food, but the cocktails were good and well-priced.

Every point of contact was stellar including the helpful and friendly front desk employee, our waiter for dinner at the lovely restaurant where we took great pics of the sun setting over the mountains & the breakfast manager Stephen who went above & beyond to accommodate us for which we were very grateful. PHENOMENAL facility in terms of location to the mountains - the views from every part of the hotel were just breathtaking!! We were there only one night, but it felt like a mini-vacation. We will stay here again and encourage our family to do the same. Thanks for a great experience!

This hotel was very clean, well furnished, and decorated. We loved the desk clerk, Jamie, who was friendly and extremely helpful in providing information about the area and PSU. He also provided us with a coupon to dine at their restaurant, The View Restaurant and Bar. Also, they had the very best continental breakfast I have ever seen. Real bacon, sausage, eggs, waffles, french toast, potatoes with peppers and onions, cut fresh fruit, cooked oat meal, yogurt, muffins, and k-cup coffee! It was exceptional!!! We will definitely stay here every time we visit our son at Penn State!!

The air conditioner was very loud and made a weird noise that made sleeping difficult. We didn't complain about it though because everything else was so great!

location is nice, clean property. overall the hotel itself is very nice. front desk staff are fine, but seem perturbed when asked questions.

front desk directed me to breakfast area, nothing left within 30 min of breakfast closing and wanted to charge for coffee. no shuttle option available on weekends to downtown make this a less attractive option give already high cost of rooms. this was my second stay there and first review. I suppose if golf is your thing, then this is a good option, but otherwise there are more reasonable options.

It was pet friendly, clean, spacious, comfy and convenient. Jamie, at the front desk was great. He was friendly, pleasant and accommodating.

Nowhere to dispose of large items, like a pizza box. I was told I could put it in the dumpsters in the parking lot by a younger male front desk agent. I thought he would take it and dispose of it for me but I had to go to the dumpsters outside. Also, breakfast could use improvement. The OJ was from concentrate and was too sweet. The eggs were soggy and didn’t taste like real eggs. I wish they had coffee mugs, either glass or ceramic, not paper cups. One more thing, the smell of the lotion and other toiletries was unpleasant. Despite these items, we had a good stay.

Beds super comfy like laying on a cloud. Loved that they are pet friendly. The breakfast included is best I have ever had with coffee & bagel bar, fresh fruit & juice bar, eggs, bacon, sausage, fried potatoes, blueberry pancakes, french toast, oatmeal bar w toppings, waffle stations, yogurt . Great location only 10 mins from PSU

No microwave in room although there is one in 2nd floor area to use. Just didnt want to heat up food then take in elevator back to my room. Also being Thon weekend the prices were really high

Great pet-welcoming place to stay if you are visiting Penn State University! This is my first time traveling to PSU with my dog and the hotel is pristine. They gave us a bag filled with dog treats, pet wipes, and a list of local pet-friendly restaurants, activities to do, etc. Great view overlooking Mountain View Country Club. Pool. Highly recommend! Although everyone was very friendly, Luis was excellent and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable.

The breakfast was good and had a variety of different options. Much more than most hotels we have stayed at. The pool was very refreshing and felt good after our rounds of golf that we played. The room also had a view of the golf course. We liked that we can golf at the same place that we stay.

The restaurant on Tuesday, 7/18/23, had a special meal of $10 burgers. The 1st time my boyfriend's burger came out which was ordered medium well was like raw burger and was sent back. The fries were cold and dried out, almost burnt. The 2nd burger that came back was terrible. The meat tasted old and made him feel sick the rest of the evening and the next morning. He only ate a quarter of the burger, took the rest to go because we did not want to embarrass the waitress again but threw it in the trash outside the restaurant. We should have sent it back at that time and we're sorry we didn't but we felt bad for the waitress.

The setting is beautiful next to a well manicured golf course. The property is immaculate with attention to detail. My room was perfect, I loved the shower, very high end and enough towels. The staff was very polite and helpful. I was very impressed with the breakfast buffet. It was all fresh and healthy food with variety. Quickly replenished as guests used things up. It was so nice to wake up and have that treat.

I'm an older person with knee challenges. In using the bathroom, I realized there was nothing to grab on for safety. The same thing is needed in the shower area. I think grab bars are needed immediately.

My daughter loved having 2 pools to choose from. We traveled with our dog and the room was perfect for him! We had hard floors in case of any accidents and were close to the exit for easy access to the outdoors. There were bags available in the potty area in case you didn’t have them. Breakfast was great! I would definitely recommend this property to anyone, especially families and people traveling with pets.
