The balcony view is what sold us on this hotel. It was across the street from Pirates Cove, and we planned to go there, so it was convenient. The rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. To our surprise, there was a small old school arcade. The pool room is very warm, which makes it comfortable getting in and out of the pool.

The hot tub was closed right as we decided to go into the pool room at 8:30 pm. But it was open in the morning. There was food left in our fridge, but we just tossed it, and honestly, we didn't even report it to the front desk. The breakfast could definitely be better. Complimentary breakfast is nice, but it wasn't what I expected. It was a fruit, yogurt, orange juice, and a muffin. They deliver it to your room. I expected the "normal" complimentary breakfast, so that's probably my biggest disappointment.

I loved the shower and the king size bed was so comfortable. Really good nights sleep. Very clean room and lobby area.

Not too wild about the breakfast. Would rather go down and have a hot breakfast with more choices.

Front desk staff was super nice! Most everyone else was friendly as well. Having toys for the kids at the beach and in the pool area was amazing since we traveled by plane we couldn’t bring much with us. Loved that we were able to text with the staff vs having to go to the office or call.

If I’m being super picky the breakfast could have been better…we aren’t a frozen/packaged food family but for what it was it was great. Loved how it was delivered and you could pick the time of delivery. Ice machines being broken were a little inconvenient. I would suggest having someone outside to get beach towels from. But getting them from the front desk was nice and not at all difficult ( I was traveling alone with children so that would have made it easier)

When we got to the hotel and saw how nice it was we asked if we could be up-graded to beachfront. The staff was very nice and helped us up-grade to beach front, it cost a little more but made our stay! The room location was awesome, we got 1st floor on the beach, it had tables outside the room so you could eat outside. We loved sitting on the beach, caught a great sunset and it was nice walking the beach. Only wish we had longer to stay! The room was great, had everything we needed - clean, a frig with freezer, comfortable bed and just all around an enjoyable experience! Also, very nice pool and hot tub! I also liked how they provided a list of nearby restaurants too!

Breakfast - it was nice to have it delivered to room, but it was a little skimpy for the price of the stay, but I must say the breakfast sandwich tasted like "real food" so that was good. So just a small detail that wasn't that bad!

We absolutely loved the hotel and would definitely recommend it. It’s our second time there :) Location: can’t beat the beautiful view and proximity to the beach. There’s a chest of toys for kids near the beach. Pirate’s cove is just across the street and great for kids. Amenities: the pool and pool water is warmer than Goldfish swim school which I love. Jacuzzi is nice as well. There’s a little arcade. Room: spacious with a fridge and large comfy beds. For breakfast you can select the type of breakfast you want and have it delivered to your room at a specified time; such a great touch!

Great central location, right on the beach. Wow. Very friendly staff and comfortable room. It was my base while I enjoyed day hikes and exploring the arts in the downtown area.

The door needs to be repaired. It was hard to close and open, and the security safe in the room didn't work. It's not a big deal. I was too exhausted to say anything or request a different room. Road construction hampered some destination travel, but what can I say, road improvements will be great in the future. Thanks Pete B!

I loved that when we checked in the lady at the front desk explained everything to use and when she told me about the breakfast delivery options I told her we would be leaving to head to the airport before their breakfast times. She said even if we were leaving in the middle of the night to just write down the time, we wanted breakfast, and someone would still bring it. We definitely loved that!!! Simple Breakfasts, but that's okay! Room was huge and cozy!!! Beds were cozy, price was good since we stayed during the off season (not summer) so very happy with our stay!!!

I thought this property offered fantastic value for our off-season visit, and it seemed especially accommodating to families with children. Roachell was very helpful throughout our stay. Our patio was a peaceful and private way to enjoy East Bay in the cooler weather, and we found the breakfast boxes very convenient and especially appreciated the bottled waters and different fruit options.

Our room was a little noisy at times but not too disruptive.

The property has a very nice location with a beautiful scenery of the beach and lake.

We didn’t like the concept of having curated breakfast boxes sent daily to our room due to the limited variety available. For instance, it would have been better had they included fresh cut fruits in the boxes (such as, pineapple, orange, and berries). Also, the apples included in the boxes did not taste that good. Lastly, there were a lot of mosquitos right on the balcony door and screen.
