Room was impeccable and clean! The bathroom roomy and water pressure great. Location was perfect, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Best part about the stay was the staff. They were all welcoming, kind, and accommodating! They really made our stay at the Wild Oscar comfortable.

The only downside was we booked the Jr. Suite with Balcony. We ended up on the lower floor and the balcony, which was on top of the garage entry way/security guard. So it was a limited in privacy if you wanted to sit outside. It didn't necessarily bum us out, but for the next guest, I would suggest requesting to be on a higher floor.

I loved the location of the hotel in the heart of Polanco, an easy walk to shops and dining. I also loved the modern design of the interior. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful. Thanks!

My only negative point would be the sound coming from next door. Insulation was not the best, at least in the corner room where we stayed.

Historical property with great terrace restaurant

Room was on smaller side but fine. Getting luggage to the front door was a challenge. Once there the bell staff took over and were great. Bell staff also took luggage the half block walk from front door to get taxis or Uber’s

The Wild Oscar was a wonderful home-away-from-home for a week. It is a nicely located boutique hotel in a safe fun area to walk around. The decor is stylish and cozy and the staff very friendly and helpful (including Carlos and Mauro at the front desk, Paula and Jonathan in the restaurant). The breakfasts were delicious.

As a boutique, it obviously does not have all the facilities of a large hotel (like a pool or a hopping bar) but it is a wonderful place to come back to after a night out in Mexico City. The gym is small but quite well supplied (2 treadmills, an elliptical, a reclining bike, weight machine, free weights, mats). An upright stationary bike would have been a nice addition.

The location in Polanco is very good, safe, and within walking distance to a wide variety of restaurants and cafes. The staff is friendly and the service is excellent. The place is in a very good condition and very clean.

Being a boutique hotel means that some things just don't work, for example, the breakfast menu doesn't have prices. When you ask for the cost you get a rather vague answer. Breakfast was good, but you then discover that the price is outrageous. Rooms are a little cramped and fit only two people. A water bottle is provided for the first day, but you need to pay for the water bottle for the rest of the stay, which is an issue when you are worried about drinking tap water.

Excellent location! Big and comfortable rooms and bathroom. Giovanni took care of our check in and check out at the front desk he was very friendly and professional! Your value for money is definitely there!

The suite with balcony on the 1st floor (room 107) was not very private. On the main balcony of the room you can always see the security of the hotel and other people doing their job but that did not bother us much since we so we did not complain about it. Asking for a higher floor solves the privacy issue. There is a terrace of another room is right in front of our bathroom window (window is equipped with privacy glass) which we found was really odd in case you opened the window. Also higher floor solves bathroom privacy issue.

location was perfect. close to many restaurants and a really good area. silence hotel size of the room was good and enough for one person too

the gym opened to late for who is working and like to work out in the morning was not good. And breakfast also started serving late if you have an early appointment with customers

Incredible location! Seriously could not ask for a better location in Mexico City. Polanco is a beautiful neighborhood with Michelin worthy restaurants and bars within a stones throw. We loved exploring the area on foot and the easy access to the rest of Mexico City. The lobby and restaurant are both modern and clean. We only ate at the restaurant once but had a wonderful experience.

Our room (we stayed in an upgraded room with a balcony) was very small and very dark. The balcony had a see through metal grate floor over the parking garage so the "view" was of the driveway to the parking garage and the security guard. Therefore the only window we had was very exposed. The room itself was nice and clean but the lack of sunlight was a big negative for me. The mattress was also incredibly firm which is not our preference, so we woke up every morning with achy backs and necks.

Breakfast consistently cold. Eggs either too runny and had to go back or were just so cold there was no point in eating them. Staff at reception could attempt more conversation and smile more as well as speak better English!
