Fantastic staff Kath and Rick that made our stay very special . Very close to the pleasure beach and plenty around to do.nice clean family room with a double bottom bunk , single top bunk bed and a separate double bed with tea and coffee making facilities. Lovely white bedding , small but perfectly formed bath room with toiletries and fluffy towels . Amazing bar in the cellar which was clean and modern . Could not fault for the price and we would definitely be back next year.

There was nothing that we we didn’t like .

The welcome was lovely-a really nice owner who was chatty and made us feel welcome. The room was clean and everywhere felt welcoming

Nothing really wrong with the room, the only reason I did not give an excellent was the fact that we thought initially that we could get breakfast and that there was a bar area. However there is nothing wrong at all with the place, just that we read old reviews before the change of ownership. At the end of the road though there is a weatherspoons which does a lovely breakfast, so don't let no breakfast put you off. Overall a lovely stay with a welcoming host 🙂

I consider myself lucky to have snagged a single room in this place on a Saturday night. The Marlow Lodge is far nicer than a typical Blackpool guesthouse, and is more like a proper hotel. The decor is very tasteful, new and modern, and everything is spotlessly clean. My room was really cosy and comfortable. The drinks supplies were very generous. The wifi was excellent. The lady who runs the place is exceptionally friendly and pleasant. The street is quieter than many streets that have a lot of guesthouses, but only a short stroll to South Pier and the Pleasure Beach. From now on this will be one of the first places I consider when visiting Blackpool.

The only thing stopping this place being perfect was a glitch with the shower. The flow of water stopped and started for no reason. Also the taps in the basin don't stay on, you have to hold them down, which makes it tricky to wash your hands. The Lodge only reopened under the present proprietors a few weeks ago, so I can forgive them for having some teething problems. I am sure the plumbing problems will be quickly rectified.

The room was lovely and clean and the beds were really comfortable. The owner Elaine was lovely and so helpful. The location was Fantastic, close to the beach and amenities but also a quiet location. Would stay again.

There wasn't anything I didn't like but it would have been good to have been able to have a breakfast but it didn't really matter as there were plenty of places to eat within 5 minutes walking distance.

Cleanliness, Location, Friendly Host

Nothing to complain. What was mentioned in the Add, was presented. To access the car park, you have to go around the road. It is not directly accessible from the property. That was a bit of inconvenience. It is chargeable at £6/day. But nothing to complain as Parking wasn't mentioned as part of package and moreover, parking elsewhere will cost you double.

Staff were very welcoming, room was quite small, but very clean and tidy, bed was super comfy best sleep I’ve had in ages! Very Good location, about 15-20 min walk to town centre but 2 mins to the beach front and south pier

Shower was very small, so if your a larger person, it’s a very tight fit

Accommodation was a good size we had the double family room ( two double beds). Location was excellent, easy access to South pier and the tram. Tim was a really good host. Great value for money as a base to explore Blackpool.

The furniture is a little dated but it was acceptable for the purpose of our stay. The room could benefit from more accessible plug sockets. A bedside lamp in the main room would have been useful. Very limited parking, we paid to use the car park across the road but was £20 for 48hours which was an added cost to be aware of.

Lovely welcome from them both.. to start they gave us a car parking space for only 7 pound. And then put us in the room overlooking the car park. Very professional 👏 👌 rooms are spotless. Can't fault. Also shower was good pressure so a massive bonus for us 4. We be coming back soon

Nothing. Was lovely

The Marlow Lodge is a lovely place to stay. It didn't feel like we were staying in a hotel but like we were staying with friends. The staff are exceptionally great and are willing to go above and beyond to make your stay more comfortable. The bar was very entertaining and my children had a brilliant time learning to play pool for the first time.

There was nothing we didn't like no fault could be found with the location or the place itself
