Johnny and Lisa (owners) were friendly and sent a very comprehensive list of places to visit, restaurants and basically anything you could need. Specifically the call out for massages in your room were great. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Special call out to Gusti. I was looking for Balinese coins to bring home as souvenirs for the kids. He advised most places don’t use them or only 500’s. He then came back the next day with a small roll of 100’s and 500’s. It was super sweet and I basically had to force him to take paper money in exchange (with some extra) for his kindness. They were able to accommodate us early when my wife wasn’t feeling well and we arrived before our ETA which was already early. They had a “Happy Honeymoon” welcome on our bed. Beautiful pool and view. Private pool was nice to relax in. AC worked great. Convenient breakfast option. Very close walk to the beach and food options Security at the gate through the evening was a nice touch Additional drinks without and with alcohol available. I really liked the Kombucha. I thought the honor system was a nice touch. If you are looking for a place away from the chaos of the city, but very close to dabble in the activities this will be perfect. Everything you need within walking distance. City centre is a 1-2 mile walk along the beach or 15-20 minute taxi/motor bike

Bathroom has open air spots where the windows don’t close, so we had some mosquitos in there. We would shower and then finish getting ready in the room. Make sure to keep door between room and bathroom closed at all times to help with this.

The location was brilliant, close to main canggu but quiet and a 2 minute drive to a beautiful sunset spot on the beach. The staff were friendly, accommodating & attentive. We loved the cafe’s, restaurants & shops nearby that were all high quality but very well priced. We spent more time around the local area of Seseh then we spent going into canggu.

It’s honestly hard to find anything we did not like but if I was really trying then I could say I would have liked for our towels to be replaced daily as part of the daily clean.

Ppl are kind Staffs are well meaning and polite Infrastructure was superb but water pressure can be stronger and faster to heat up. But bathroom is pretty and high ceiling and air flow was fab. Everything runs the way it supposed to be, for that am being thankful. 7 rescued dogs were well taken care of, relaxed and happy. Such a lovely members of the family. Location is alright if u take transport to places. Aesthetic and well thought property with excellent air quality and flow. Layout was open which allows possible noise issue to dissipate, so thus was rather quiet as well. the dogs and how thing runs the way it supposed to be was the best feature. Bfast was simple but lovely and healthy. Just enough to start the day Bath towel was generously given and very absorbent as well as tissue stocks. Ac runs great and cold.

a pair of slippers in the room would be nice.. or even upon request and mentioned in the note would be good. Blanket is a bit too heavy and too big and kept slipping to the floor.... possibly wont be an issue for wider beds. Staff needs to be more attentive to details when cleaning, found blonde hair strands on the head shower handle and by the rim of the toilet seater upon check in. Having the surface wiped w either clean cloth or just tissue for final use would be good.

Spaces Bali was amazing, we loved our stay here. Such beautiful grounds and pool area. The location is great 3 minute walk to the beach and there are lots of nice restaurants in the area. The breakfast at Spaces Bali was excellent, the fruit and eggs both delicious. Lisa was so attentive and really made us feel welcome, she even arranged a birthday cake for my daughter. Also highly recommend the massage by Luh at the resort.

The area is being developed so there is alot of construction in the area, but nothing that really bothered us.

I had an excellent experience at Spaces Bali! Everything was brand new, with special attention given to the interior and the overall look of the hotel grounds. The well-maintained surroundings featured beautiful plants throughout. The pool, with its unique and beautiful shape, was the best I've ever seen. The staff was incredibly friendly and responsive. The owners personally greeted guests, offering assistance and valuable recommendations. The room was impeccably clean, with daily housekeeping. I had the private pool, which was also amazing. Overall, a top-notch establishment!

Everything was great!

Everything. The villas were comfortable, private and just plainly wonderful. We had one with a small private pool in addition to the large one, which was fantastic. Johnny and his staff did everything they possibly could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We decided to arrive a day early on short notice and they solved the issue to my highest satisfaction. There are a lot of little perks that stand out, from a little homemade welcome basket to filtered drinkable tap-water. The place is a five minute walk from the beach. They also rent scooters if you want to explore the area.

The only thing that comes to mind is, while the dogs on the property are pleasant during the day, we had one night where the dogs were barking us awake at 4 am and I had to personally go outside to shhh them. That’s the only thing that could be improved.

Spaces has a beautiful outdoor area around a stunning communal pool. The garden adds to the beauty of the area. It was perfect to be able to relax by the pool or if you wanted to be more private, each room has an veranda with seating to also relax in. The Location is perfect. Close enough to the beach and cafes to walk everywhere but far enough away ( couple of blocks) to be away from the crowds. Shower had great pressure and good hots water. Beds were comfy.

I didn’t like having to leave such a beautiful place

The service was fantastic, both staff and owner always very friendly and helpful. The property itself very nice, peaceful, still located in a quiet area with many nice restaurants nearby. Rooms very atmospherically decorated, very clean. There is efficient air conditioning and also a huge fan above the bed. The private pool is great too. The best thing is the drinkable water on tap as you don't have to worry about accidental poisoning. The property is „guarded” by wonderful dogs who, contrary to some opinions, are not that noisy.

We had the most lovely stay at Spaces Changgu. The owners make you feel so welcome & at home and a late night arrival was possible without any trouble! Beds are very comfortable, rooms beautifully designed, everything is clean, lovely breakfast options (a la carte) and great tips & recommendations are sent on arrival. The swimming pools is beautiful and surrounded by a stunning garden. We even got help with ironing our clothes for the wedding we attended ☺️ Can’t recommend highly enough!

This is a really gorgeous place which is run by a lovely and friendly Aussie couple. The room was bigger than I was expecting with lovely toiletries and thoughtful attention to detail like including a yoga mat in the room and leaving a welcome message and snacks when I arrived late :) The pool area is even lovelier than the pics! The whole property really gives you that sense of stepping off the treadmill and slowing down. I only had breakfast one day but it was delicious (they make their own granola!) I also liked the location as it's quiet and easy to get to the beach, Udara (for yoga), Pererenan and Canggu. The water is also filtered and safe to drink out of the tap, which was a bonus. Thank you Lisa and Johnnie for a wonderful stay. I hope to be back again one day! X

I scrambling to find the negatives here! I would have preferred my room to be a little more privately located. I was staying in Stone 6 which is right by the main path and faces the communal area. I noticed some of the other rooms were a little more secluded as they were tucked away and/or hidden by plants. The property has five dogs so if you don't like dogs this is not the place for you. I was woken up a few times by barking in the middle of the night, but this is Bali and barking dogs are pretty much everywhere!
