Upgraded us to a 1 bedroom with a single bed in the lounge at no charge. I was surprised and very grateful. Clean and nice. So close to everything. Shopping mall across road, bus stop across rd and down a little, walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Morning of check out miss 15 took a long shower and we were running late. One of the team rang to tell us not hurry, take our time. They really went the extra mile to make our stay a fantastic one. Highly recommend this hotel.

Didn't like that after booking option 2 = 2 single beds for myself & miss 15, payment made, then get an email saying they want more $ per night because option 2 cost more per night. I was not happy. This should have been mentioned in hotel booking details advertisement as it does in some other hotels (not that many hotels charge extra for these options). I emailed them back, saying they need to be more transparent about this hidden cost. They were very understanding and said they are under new management, and they will split the beds at no extra cost, which I was grateful for. When we arrived to check in, we also got upgraded to a 1 bedroom apartment, which was an unexpected surprise and one we were very grateful for. Thanks team you made our day. Recommend your hotel.

Very convenient location right in town & easy access parking. Walking distance to the boardwalk, wind wand & eateries. Room was well equipped with kitchen facilities heat pump & air-con unit & lots of hot water. Very comfortable rooms.

We were on Level 2 (top level). A lot of noise coming from either something loose on the roof or the door (being caused by the wind).....did not sleep well because of the noise. We notified staff, however, we were advised that since it was a public holiday, maintenance workers were not available to fix the problem right away.

Beds probably needed upgrading. Just some general maintenance issues like door handle that comes off and air conditioner in bedroom that you cant turn the fan speed down. One thing that felt odd to me was the lack of a cupboard or pantry space to put groceries if you are staying longer. We had to store them in bags on the floor. There is plenty of space there where they could fit a pantry cupboard.

We booked Quest 1 Bedroom Studio for the weekend to visit our mokopuna (Granddaughter) in Taranaki. Unfortunately it rained the whole weekend but we were lucky to have a spacious clean Studio with an fully equipped kitchen, modern bathroom and washer - dryer in the apartment. This saved our trip, we were able to amuse her in comfort & privacy indoors which we were grateful. The beds were comfortable and the rooms clean, we were a stones throw from the city shopping centre with stylish local cafes with good food and boutiques right outside the front door. Car parking was easily accessed and free with our booking. The Staff and Housemaids were polite and helpful. Ngā mihi maioha…

Staff were so helpful, welcoming and friendly, the rooms were big and clean. Great to have laundry facilities in the room, and the kids loved the spa bath. Carparking was great to have pre booked. Would stay here again on another family trip.

Unhoused people on the streets surrounding. Not much the hotel can do for this but not super comfortable to walk out alone at night.

Central location and good parking. Loved the fact that this is the old post office building repurposed into accommodation. The apartment was comfortable and quiet. Great shower, kitchen, and the washing machine and dyer was a bonus. Overall, it was a very nice place to stay.

One minor disappointment was that there was still a greasy tray left in the oven from the previous occupants that was a bit smelly.

Location was great, limited parking due to remedial works on outside of property, room was spacious, having laundry facilities was a bonus when travelling instead of having to find a laundromat. Staff helpful

The fact that apartments were not serviced on Sundays, this seems odd but no where was that explained, came back after being out all day to damp towels when expecting fresh ones. Pillows could be better too.

Was very comfortable bed and pillows, great pressure in the walk in shower (2 pressure options), toiletries smelled beautiful. Were very accommodating around leaving air con on for us when we arrived. Could barely hear anyone else around us so was nice and quiet. Perfect location.

Tv screen was very blue tinted but still somewhat watchable. When taking shower water pooled a bit between toilet and sink instead of staying just in the shower area. Might need the extractor fan in kitchen to be a bit stronger. Could use a motherboard for power plugs either beside bed or at desk. No one at reception when leaving at about 9.45am but just left roomcard on the desk.

Loved the location, 2 minutes from a mall and the coastal walkway. Town was also a few minutes walk, although there is a little hill. 15 minutes from Pukekura park. Facilities in the room adequate, the bed and pillows very comfortable. Reasonably quiet. Air conditioning in the unit very good, and the only form of air as windows to open were not accessible. The BBQ deck level was great for a place to sit outside.

The windows were up high, so I felt like I was boxed in. The hallways were quite dark too, at times it was hard to see the room numbers, especially when first finding your room, and the order of the numbers was weird. My key card did not work the first time, so I had to negotiate back down to reception with my suitcase, which was less than ideal. Reception did not always have someone there so you had to use the phone at reception to contact a person. They often were there in very little time though.
