April 2022
We stayed (2 Adults) between 9/4/22 & 16/4/22, Easter holidays. First time staying in a self catering apartment when skiing, in short, would 100% stay again. Read the below for further info. Location: Hotel is ski in/out, access to a blue slope (Escartee). Short walk along footpaths/roads to shops/ski hire and restaurants. Telebus (free service) is approx 5 -10 minutes away which allows you to travel back and forth to Plagne centre. Plagne centre is where we got dropped off & picked up by Ben's Bus, which also made it easier for us. Hotel / services: We arrived earlier than the check in time 17:00, our room wasn't ready (reception did check for us), we was allowed to leave our luggage at the hotel which allowed us to then go collect our ski equipment. Ski lockers are provided, the room key is used to lock/unlock, no need for a padlock. Some reviews mention the ski room being busy/crowded in the mornings, we found the peak time was 8:45am. So we arrived 5 mins before and had no issues. We also left our ski boots in the lockers and had no issues with them drying out. Pool, we didn't use the pool but walked past it a number of times. It seemed it was most busy in the afternoons/evenings. A restaurant is attached to the hotel (Le Chair Lift). We did eat there the first night and the food was good. Laundry services are available, €6 to use the washing machine (powder incl) & €4 for the tumble dryer. FYI the machines only accept coins, reception has change available. Some reviews mention the hotel being like a maze and difficult to navigate around. There are numerous staircases which does cause some confusion, but after a short walk around the hotel you soon get an understanding of which stairs link to which corridors. Room: We stayed in a studio apartment on the 2nd floor. The room was bigger than expected and the facilities in the room were brilliant.
The below would not stop me from booking again. But thought it is worth pointing out. Lifts/elevators: The lifts where small and were very busy on the first day of check in with families taking luggage and items to their rooms. However, this didn't seem to happen when checking out.

Great location, and excellent value. Rooms are a good size and have very comfortable beds, and powerful showers. WiFi is free. Spar and restaurants and easy walk away. Boot room leads onto the piste so supremely easy ski in/out.
I sent a few questions ahead of arrival to aid our planning but got no replies to my emails, which was a shame. Not much info provided on arrival either so it was a voyage of discovery what we needed to do, buy, locate etc. No UK/US TV channels sadly, and the tv itself was too old to have an HDMI port to allow connectivity to the Xbox i had brought to keep my son entertained in the evenings. We coped fine of course, but it was a bit surprising. We would definitely rebook here, as all the downsides can be mitigated with foreknowledge, and the plus sides are great, but it will be a smoother experience knowing what we now know!

Location, rooms, bread delivery, ski in ski out. Comfortable beds too. Loads of self catering utensils etc although we ate out. Locker system for skis really good. Staff helpful + friendly. As NY there were 2 awesome firework displays, main one at midnight we had the best view. Amazing location.
Only the price but I booked only a couple of weeks before leaving for new year. I’d definitely come back but book in advance. Pool was super busy plus no ball games.

The Front de Neige building is situated in an ideal spot very close to Plagne Village with direct access from the ski room to a blue ski run. We booked an apartment with separate bedroom which was perfect for two people. It is supposed to cater for four, but that would be rather too many people in the space. Kitchen very well equipped and bed very comfortable. Large bathroom with bath and shower. Easy access to restaurants and bars without the crowds of Plagne Centre. Undergound parking in the building with direct access to the apartment by elevator was excellent.
Only one elevator to service 6 floors and the whole building, so lots of waiting around. Solid ice all through the outside car park and at the entrance to the garage with no attempt to clear - extremely dangerous as these areas must be walked upon to access the building. Ski cupboard just big enough for two people but not for four - no hooks to hang equipment and no heated boot storage.

The hotel is perfect. Comfortable, clean and well-equipped rooms. The kitchen has all you need for your 1...2 weeks stay. The location is amazing - right near green (children's sloop) So it's easy to start your skiing day event with the smallest ones. The hotel has a restaurant and there are some restaurants around within 5 min walking asses. Good free parking right in front of the hotel closed only for hotel guests. There is also underground parking for an extra fee.

The Dou D J Praz drag lift outside the boot room, was a good short cut to Plagne Bellecote. Le Charlift restaurant in the hotel was a nice place to eat and slightly cheaper than nearby alternatives.
The pool was rather cold. The hotel mattresses are very firm and the rooms are very hot. No option to check in early on the Saturday. Rooms pre allocated, not on a first come basis, many of them not ready until 5pm.

Piste-side location with good size rooms for the cost and easy parking. Easy check in at reception (booking.com filtered the attachment providing the self-check in information so we didn't get this, but this is not the fault of the hotel). No issues with checking out - just make sure you ask what the procedure is when you check in.
The swimming pool could have been a bit warmer and some hooks in the ski lockers would be useful. But I'd still come back again even if these things stay the same.

Location on the piste and an easy walk to shops and restaurants. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff on reception. The daily bread delivery service. The ski locker room. Very warm rooms, we turned all the radiators off as it was so warm!
The pool/jacuzzi water was cold, which was a disappointment after a long day skiing we were looking forward to soaking in a warm jacuzzi. The ski locker room doesn’t have boot drying racks, so you have to take them up to your room.

Location is excellent. Ski in ski out. Apartment in reasonable and good condition but for a 4 star rating it should be better.
The property is dated and is obvious. It is clean but the fact it is dated doesn’t project well. There was obvious dust on corners and top shelves/ fridge and top of sockets which raises questions about extend of cleaning. Dishwasher had no salt and for a stay of 1 week I had to buy and load it. Rather poor of property not providing this. Cutlery did not appear clean so had to wash them before I used them. No oven or grill therefore what can be cooked is limited.

Great location, kind staff and comfortable rooms. Ski in-out is also nice. The bread service especially is a real treat!
Rooms were a bit warm, too warm to our liking. Spa (30 min) is a bit short, would be better if it’s 45 minutes and that someone from the staff ensures it’s clean and available before the next group comes. Ski lockers don’t have boot heating, which means everyone takes their shoes upstairs.
