My girlfriend and I spent an amazing time here. We stayed 10 days in the loft apartment. Since our stay in Marrakech was a bit longer than what is usual for the city, we wanted a spacious room that could offer us some privacy and make us feel at home. We definitely did feel at home. The room was perfect for us, and we never tired of spending time there like I imagine we would've in a smaller, more hotel-like room. In general, the Riad is very well kept and extremely beautiful. We especially enjoyed the rooftop where we enjoyed our breakfast many times. The breakfast, which to our surprise was included in the price, was delicious and varied. As a result, we ate breakfast at the Riad literally every day. Either on the rooftop, in the beautiful courtyard or in our room. The team at the Riad was very flexible, and they modified the breakfast to meet our requests (for example, we wanted eggs, and so every day we got eggs, prepared like we wanted, to go along with the rest of the already delicious breakfast). This is what really stood out, the amazing staff. Extremely friendly, down to earth and professional. They strived to meet our requests with no hassle, from washing and ironing our clothes (for free) to providing guidance on how to navigate the hectic Medina and the souks. The list of things they helped us with is endless. I could go on and on, but the last thing I'd like to mention is that the location is awesome as well. Very close to the souks, Jemaa el-Fnaa (the main square), a few good restaurants (Le Slimana, L'mida), and, pro-tip in case you want to venture out of the Medina: there's a street nearby from where you can find a taxi, despite most of the Medina being closed to cars; If you write "Ali mosque door driveway" in Google Maps, it'll take you straight there (5 minute walk). My girlfriend and I had a vacation that we'll never ever forget, and it was in large part thanks to the riad and the team there. We will be back!

Dar Zelda is a charming, cozy riad strategically located right in the middle of the Medina, yet somehow feeling tranquil and remote. Our suite had its own terrace, and it was delightful to take breakfast on the beautiful rooftop every morning. The main part of the house was undergoing some maintenance while we were there, but it's a beautiful property. Jamal and his staff are very warm and accommodating, making you feel like honored guests in their personal home. So much of the Marrakech experience – especially for first-timers to Morocco – revolves around the Medina, so if you want lodging that puts you steps away from the action, while also providing a peaceful respite from it, this is the place!

I look forward to experiencing the property when the interior remodel is finished. More onsite dinner options would be welcome.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with tea and sweets. Jamal took the time to explain the Medina in detail, provided us with a map, and marked the key places to visit. This personal service immediately made us feel well taken care of. The rooms were beautiful, very clean, and hygienic – exactly as we had hoped. They were cleaned daily, and fresh towels were always provided. The breakfast was another highlight: everything was freshly prepared, with a wide selection of fruits. We were always asked if we wanted tea or coffee, and the service was consistently friendly and attentive. What stood out most were Jamal and Adil, who became our friends. The evening conversations at the hotel after our excursions were the most enjoyable moments for us. All in all, this hotel offers excellent service, warm staff, and a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommended!

I spent Christmas with my family in Marrakech, and we planned to stay in a charming riad. We chose Dar Zelda, and I must say it was an excellent choice. The hotel is located right in the heart of the Medina, very clean, with an excellent and abundant breakfast featuring typical products freshly prepared on the spot. One evening, we also had dinner at the property, and it was truly delicious. The entire staff was extremely courteous, especially Jamal, who was incredibly helpful and kind, assisting us in every possible way. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend Dar Zelda to everyone.

Very clean and exceptional staff! - very helpful and attentive to our needs. Cars were not able to get to the exact location of the riad due to tight roads, so we had to walk for around 5 minutes to pick up location. This is where Dar Zelda staff came in handy for us as they would take us to the pick up location and pick us up when we were finished. This was especially handy at night when we would go to dinners - they made us feel safe.

We didn’t like that we would have to walk to the pick up location especially when wearing dresses but at least the staff were always attentive and helpful!

Riad Dar Zelda is a perfect place to stay in Medina of Marrakesh ♥️ we enjoyed our stay in July so much, guys/staff from the riad were the best!! We arrived really late at night and they still served us a dinner, typical Moroccan cuisine (3 courses) including local wine and water (25€ per person)👌🏻 Breakfast was also authentic Moroccan, pretty the same every day but still good. I fell in love with local msemen (sort of flatbread or pancake),mostly breakfast was sweet with good coffee and authentic Moroccan mint tea (also as a welcome drink). Riad itself is so beautiful, kinda an oasis in Medina, so quiet and cozy hidden spot. Riad is in Moroccan style with a hint of modern taste, I would say really instagrammable place. Located in good place, within a walking distance to every local tourist spot, 15 min and you are on the main square, 5 min and you are in Ben Youssef Madrasa or Marrakech museum, 5 min around the corner is also starting local souk (market), 20 mins and you in Bahia palace, so everything you need. Staff, mainly guys, were so nice and helpful, they arranged everything for us, helped and explained how it works in Marrakech, what to do, what to avoid, also warned regarding the local scams, at the end our 3 days stay was ideal. 100% recommend!

The breakfast was amazing - pancakes, fresh fruit, eggs, bread, honey, jam, cheese, salad. Jamal and Adil were the most welcoming, friendly and helpful people. They made us feel so at home and like we were part of their family. I was unwell during our holiday and they both did their utmost to make me feel comfortable. The ladies who worked so hard in the kitchen were really lovely and presented beautiful food to us every time. The location is fantastic - out of the front door and two minutes later we were in the Souk with a ten minute walk to the main square where there were taxis if we wanted to go further afield. We also had a very interesting and hilarious ride on a Tuk-tuk through the middle of the Souk to a restaurant!

Nothing could have been better, it really was perfect.

Right in the heart of the Medina, close to the markets, some really nice places to eat (2 minutes walk to Le Slimana, 20 to Nomad), the loft room was perfect for me and my two teenage boys. The roof top terrace is really rather cool and we had an an amazing breakfast sat up there. We left our bags there all day from check out and collected later on. We were offered refreshments on the roof whilst we waited for a transfer and felt really welcomed and looked after. I was really delighted with my choice of Riad in Marrakesh and will go back again.

Our stay at Riad Dar Zelda was unforgettable. From the warm welcome with traditional Moroccan cookies and tea to the beautifully decorated, cozy room, everything was perfect. The staff, especially Jamal and the team, were exceptionally kind and attentive, making us feel at home. We loved the splendid breakfast on the terrace each morning, with fresh, delicious options and a lovely view. We even canceled our second Riad to extend our stay here because we enjoyed it so much. My partner and I just stayed here last week and loved it. The hotel is very nice, just like the pictures. We stayed in the apartment on the top floor and absolutely loved it. The manager (Jamal) was the best. He's so nice and helpful. You can tell that they really care about their guests and want them to be happy. Also, we highly recommend asking the hotel to book your taxi from and to the airport.

We really loved this place and cannot think of anything we'd change. I highly recommend staying here and hope to go back one day.
