I couldn't have asked for a better home base for my 2 weeks in Alona Beach. Perfect location with tons of great restaurants nearby in a quiet and beautiful setting with many trees and birds. The room was very comfortable with a big window and glass door which made it feel bright and spacious. As a bonus the room had many well-placed electrical outlets, and screens on the windows, both rare in Asia. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the free water is another nice bonus.

The shower was a pain to use but it gets the job done.

I stayed for 5 nights at Alona Gecko Inn and had a very pleasant experience. Overall, I would stay here again if returning to Panglao and looking to stay close to Alona Beach. Rooms: My room was very clean from the bedroom to the bathroom, with a small but pretty terrace which I found very nice in the evenings. The room included a fridge which was useful, as well as a small desk with space for two people to sit. The room might be on the smaller side for a couple or a couple travelling with a child, but it was perfect for me as a solo traveler. Location: The location is excellent, close enough to Alona beach that food and retail options are a quick walk while being far enough away that the hotel has a somewhat tranquil feel in the evenings. 5-10 min walk away from the beach to a good coffee shop (Overgrown Cafe) and a reasonably priced eatery (Andrea's Kawayan Eatery). Facilities: Not a whole lot to say here as the hotel does not offer food / activities. The grounds are very well landscaped however, which is a nice extra touch.

Not sure if I missed it, but free drinking water would be a helpful and eco-friendly offering, rather than selling bottled water.

Very good location. Everything you need is within walking distance. The people working at the hotel are very very helpful. Everything is very clean and the room is cleaned every day if requested. You can fill your drinking water bottle. The possibility to do laundry, and we were helped to do that too, because the washing machine was unfamiliar. We stayed longer than originally booked. Thank you for the very nice reception!

Nice complex, very well maintained. The room was spacious, as was the bathroom. Loved how the shower is seperated from the rest of the bath area. It is a good shower too. The beds were good. If you don't like the tin sheets, you can ask for blankets. There is a small parking spot, in case you come by car. Shops, restaurants and the beach are all closeby.

Not an issue to us, but there's a plumbing problem: there are drain flies all over, and especially in the bathroom. They are harmless to humans, though. An extra mirror would be nice. There is only one in the bathroom, and it is hanging real low.

Great location. 5-10 min walk to Alona Beach and a great little yoga studio called Jing Yoga. Cafes and restaurants right on your doorstep (I recommend Shaka, Overgrown Cafe and Bamboo Place). Spacious and clean room, good wifi, friendly staff.

The bedding situation was a little weird?! For a double bed, they give you a couple of small top sheets that wouldn’t even fit a single bed. But I’m a small person so whatever, not a big deal and I didn’t ask them for any alternatives!

Location is very near Alona beach and on the Main Street but at night is still very quiet and won’t hear the noises from the bars & crowds. Plus, you will see real geckos there too. 😄

Good location, 5 minute walking to Alona Beach, many restaurants, coffee shop, supermarkets... around.

They dont provide free bottles of water during my stay. There is a machine (I dont know) creates noise at night which disturbs my sleep. The hot/cold shower is not stable. One foreign man at the reception (not the local ladies staff) is not friendly at all. I dont know if he is the patron or not, but the way he talks to me is quite rude.

German quality :D Very clean, everything's new, shower head with a water filter was especially lovely. Nice rooms, have a fridge and a table, view to the garden also is beautiful! Having a proper A/C unit was awesome as well.

Property charges a small deposit - not a big deal, a bit surprising for South East Asia. Sure is worth it though.

What amazing accomodation is such a good location! The photos on the listing do not do this place justice. The bed is absolutely enormous and so comfortable. The room itself is SO spacious and the shower is excellent. Very kind staff and just a short walk to alona beach!

Nothing! Could not have had a better experience

4 nights of stay. Right across the Hennan Resort main gate. Reasonable price, good room condition, friendly workers, nice location, air conditioning was well operating, moderate wifi, and there is public shower room and resting area you can use. Even after your check out, you can still take a shower before you go to airport. Willing to visit again.

Wish the blanket to be a little bit thicker.
