When checking, in the receptionist (older lady that wears a hat) accommodated our request of being close to the lobby. Breakfast was pretty good, plenty to eat and Hot. Good location to everything we wanted to go to. My favorite staff member was Alix, she was so helpful when we had a problem with the toilet in our room, she called right away to have it fixed and we were back in our room within 1 1/2 hours. Alix was friendly and an exceptional employee, you need to hire more people like her, she's a gem.

Had a problem with the toilet in our room, but it was fixed promptly and we were back in our room quickly.A little disappointed that the pool was not available when we checked in on Thursday when there were hardly any people here, but was fixed on Friday when the hotel was full capacity. The pool was so crowded we couldn't get in.

Location: About 15mins from Washington Park Beach & Zoo. Culver’s across the street and gas stations. Service: Staff was very nice, accommodating, and personable. Property: Nice lounge area when you walk in, comp breakfast (eggs, sausage, B&G, waffles, fruit, yogurt, cereals, toast/bagels, juices/milk/coffee), Pool & Hot Tub was nice, and a small work out room. Also a little grassy area that I was able to let my kids run around and play in. Room: has microwave and full mini fridge, lots of movie channels (especially for if you’re bringing kids).

Rooms were basic and out dated but we weren’t really looking for anything extravagant. A few stains on our carpets otherwise things were nice and clean.

The property was very clean and close to a lot of things to do!! Shopping and eating! The breakfast was good and they have a pool and a Jacuzzi. Mimi at the front desk was amazing!! Super friendly and helpful!!

We didn't like the bed, I want to make sure to say that if you like a firm bed you are golden but if not then you won't like their beds. We left a night earlier due to the bed being uncomfortable but everyone sleeps differently.

The location was great. It's not a huge hotel and slightly tucked away off the main road. Easy access to the beach, shopping and restaurants.

The breakfast was typical cheap hotel food but did the job in a pinch. Kids would probably love the selection if you're traveling with littles. We discovered an amazing breakfast spot a block away - Sophias House of Pancakes - great food, large portions and small prices.

Unfortunately the first evening my toilet backed up. They did not have maintenance staff available an hotel staff brought up a plugger for me to use. The most worst is the toilet was so very low and hard for someone to bend down and stand up especially someone with bad knees and very tall. When we told the hotel staff at the hotel desk she did not take it serious. The breakfast was ok but coffee very weak and bad. I had to poor it out just horrible.

Everything looked clean. Except the carpets in the rooms

Our first room the A/C wasn’t working and Linda tried telling us it was cause the curtains were open and had made the room warm. Also the toilet was running none stop. Room 320 . She moved us to 209 and the room was fine but the shower faucet dripped none stop. The carpets in the rooms need some attention. They feel dirty walking on them.

The ladies at the front desk took excellent care of my husband and I. There was a gentleman working the night shift and he had the biggest smile on his face when we got there like he loved his job. Very reassuring to see such a smiling face even at 11pm!

Nothing I disliked. We got a handicap room when we didn’t request one. Don’t know what happened there but 🤷🏻‍♀️

Location and staff were great. Room was comfortable and spacious. Housekeeping was good.

Hot tub was not completely full and not every hot. There was a lot of maintenance scheduled all in the same day. There was no hot water from noon-5 p.m. and (on the same day) the pool was closed two hours early for maintenance.

the woman at the front desk was fantastic!( i wish I could rember her name ) the room was clean, and the beds were comfy. It was our first visit to Michigan City and hopefully will not be our last. It has been, our favorite small town stop so far. we would definitely stay at this hotel again, when visiting.

I liked that it was close to the main road where everything is just along. The parking lot was very well lit at night and it was very clean outside and in.

Nit picking here, but the hall ways and elevator are exceptionally warm compared to the room temps. It’s not unbearable or anything but my girlfriend and I thought it was because of the humidity of the pool/hot tub. Beyond that everything else was great!
