Beautiful hotel along the bay beach, awesome and friendly staff and personnel, and a unique touch for breakfast. We absolutely loved the fact that we were given, on daily basis, all ingredients to make a personalized breakfast, including croissants, breads, eggs, bacon, juices, water etc... I mean, it was up to us when and how we wanted to have that, and we truly loved it. The fridge was refilled and resupplied on daily basis, depending on what you have consumed. There is a list of what is complimentary and what is charged. So make sure you take a good look of that list to ensure that you don't consume what is chargeable. The hotel is located in a very quiet area, yet, giving access to the public beach and all shops, restaurants and bars along the bay. We rented a car, so we very much loved the idea that a covered and very well guarded parking was including in the price, giving us a peace of mind whenever we are parking the vehicle. The room was huge, beautifully decorated and filled with amenities and basic stuff that you may need. Our bathroom was fancy, with a shower and bath tub, we had a lot of fun. I mean, everything about the hotel was quite WOW. Our balcony was facing the sea, so we would wake up with an amazing breeze... absolutely wonderful. The staff was so friendly and always ready to assist. If we were to go back in the same area, South Beach camps Bay Boutique Hotel would be on top of our list for accommodation.

The only thing that didn't work was the tv channels. There was a decoder and instructions on how to use it, but nothing worked. We even called the staff for assistance and the technician indicated that they were in some kind of transition, all the decoders and cables were being replaced, and that's probably one of the reasons why it wasn't worked. So when in-room. we watch our Netflix account and online social media stuff. Not a big deal, but It had to be mentioned.

We stayed here at the end of our two-week honeymoon. The room was huge, with a nice balcony overlooking the beach and it was super clean. We appreciated having our own kitchenette, and used it to make food in the evenings when we got tired of eating out. It was very well equipped and our fridge was restocked daily, so there was always plenty to eat! :) The hotel is in a great location, the restaurants of Camps Bay are within a ten-minute walk, the citysightseeing bus stops 5 minutes away, and it also didn't take long to get in to the city centre by Uber. Staff were friendly and let us check-in slightly early upon arrival.

It wasn't cheap! Delivery of the bakery items in the morning wasn't consistent each day, which was slightly annoying, as we were sometimes waiting for it to be delivered before we could start our sightseeing for the day.

Great location. Rooms are a good size and clean. Well stocked fridge each day for breakfast.

The property is described as 5 *, but it did not live up to 5* expectations. Turning the shower on full flooded the bathroom, and there was no notices to warn of this. When turned down it was fine. One night Our air-con leaked over the bed. The swimming pools are less than 3 foot deep, and it’s fair to say it’s style over substance.

I can only recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cape Town! It was a great and safe area to stay in, the beach is right across the street and there are many great restaurants around. The staff was really kind and always keen to answer any questions. Our room was lavishly furnished, really big and very clean. The view from the pool deck was unbelievably beautiful, especially being able to watch the sun set right at the ocean. We really loved the breakfast concept that the hotel offers. That way, we could enjoy having breakfast in our own room, eat whatever and at any time we wanted and it would always be fresh.

The staff were brilliant and a particular mention to Kerri who sorted both new accommodation and extended car hire when we heard that our departure flight with BA had been delayed by 20 hours! We enjoyed the privacy of our room (Room 3) with access to the pool, the in room breakfast and the private under ground garaging. Location good for local restaurants and ease of access to drive out from the quieter south end of Camps Bay.

Where do I even start… The service at South Beach is excellent, nothing is too much to ask. The suites are really comfortable and beautifully decorated. One of my favorite things about South Beach is having a kitchenette in my room. With a fresh baguette and croissants delivered every morning to my door, I can selfishly luxuriate in waking up late and making myself a delicious breakfast and a mimosa from a fully stocked fridge! I can treat myself while sitting on my veranda and looking at the morning activity on Camps Bay beach and promenade!

There’s nothing to dislike everything is spectacular.

It immediately gave you the feeling of being at the beach in a relaxed environment with luxury, we received freshly baked bread every morning

The bed was a bit uncomfortable, I think the mattress was just to soft/maybe worn out so we soke up every morning with a sore back. The breakfast I was not a fan, they don't have a kitchen on site (I assume) hence you need to make your own breakfast in the morning but they supply you with eggs(you can boil, scramble or fry), cold meat, yoghurt and fresh fruit

The layout, comfort, and size of the apartment/room were amazing. Beautifully and tastefully furnished. Spacious, stunning bathroom. Fully equipped kitchenette. I really enjoyed their breakfast concept of delivering fresh croissants and baguettes to our room each morning, and stocking the fridge with tasty sandwich fillings, fruit etc. each day. The location is excellent- close to restaurants, literally across the road from the beach and natural tidal pool, and easy access back onto the main road.

The lady assigned to clean our room was unnecessarily rude and a bit abrupt which put a damper on our stay. However, other members of staff were generally good. There also seemed to be an ongoing issue with the entrance to the parking garage. during our stay, causing it to stay half-open. This should have been attended to with greater urgency given the potential security and safety risk.

Loved the unique breakfast setup - everyday you have freshly delivered bread hanging on your door to accompany your breakfast you make from the variety of fresh ingredients in the fridge. The items are replaced daily and the staff at reception are happy to fulfill any special requests - we asked for Oat milk and it was immediately brought to the room. The views from the rooftop pool bar are breath taking and even more so when the sun is setting. Our suite was was equipped and very clean. The staff were superb. We will definitely be back for another memorable stay

Overall we had a brilliant 4 nights here and would highly recommend The bed was extremely comfortable! The location was perfect and safe to walk to the restaurants. The food in the area is fab! The rooftop bar was great. Edwin and Arnold make great cocktails! Lovely views The breakfast is there to make yourself at your leisure with fresh croissants and baguettes delivered daily. There's plenty of food and it's quite nice that you can make some sandwiches to take out for day trips. There are washing machines and dryers to use downstairs. This came in handy as we finished our SA trip in Cape Town and had lots of washing to do. All the staff are really friendly. The car park is secure.
