Location is great and its pretty close to Airport. Its an Oasis among the hustle bustle of the city. Lot of shops and restaurants around if you are ready for a bit of walk or you can do GRAB. We had a villa so we had our own Steam Sauna, Jacuzzi and other things and the bed was really comfortable and not very soft which I like.

Wifi is bad. Its slow and lags. Need a lot of improvement there. Breakfast spread is same every morning which becomes boring. There is not a single dish which changed during the 4 days we stayed there. Could have added a bit of Indian breakfast spread like Dosa and Idli or Puri Sabji for some days. Resort should have own entertainment facilities like Game Parlor for kids or some other shows or activities which was missing big time.

Khum Phaya is a wonderful, quiet resort. It is not too big, the gardens and the pool are great. We have spend a relaxing time here. The room (we had a pool room) was nice, comfortable and quite large. The multiple shower is fantastic!

Although everything functions well, we think that in the not too distant future some major updates will be necessary.

The pool was absolutely beautiful, at around 100m long with little islands for sunbathing and a bar, and surrounded by foliage, which gave the keepers quite a job picking the leaves out of the pool. We had the Lanna deluxe poolside and it had a jacuzzi which was great fun, as well as a great shower. The room was lovely and had a movie channel or two on the telly.

Well.. the restaurant wasn't amazing, and the area around the resort didnt provide an awful lot of choice. And the mosquitoes.. well that's the price you pay for such a beautiful resort I guess.they provide nets, but a good idea to get some spray and roll on from the local 7-11 just up the road. All of these are relatively minor things, I loved our stay and would go again.

Leafy grounds, helpful staff, and nicely appointed rooms. Pool was a nice feature at the end of a hot day.

The room we had was 'quiet' within the resort, however it was nearest a busy road so the sound of motorcycle exhausts going past at night was noticeable. The pool was also a fair bit cooler than expected! Also, for those who want to be near the old-town, you'll need to catch a Grab (it's too far to walk).

The service from staff was absolutely superb; we needed help sorting out problems several times (not related to the hotel) and every time the staff were amazingly helpful. The place is comfortable and quiet. Breakfast is good.

Only issue is the location - because of the main road that runs adjacent to the hotel, getting anywhere from the hotel is impossible by foot and requires a taxi (Pro tip - get the Grab app).

The resort is nestled in a quiet part of the city and is located next to a cultural centre. Within its walls, the resort is spread out amidst greenery and a stream running through it. The was large and very comfortable and we had a pool view that made it nice. Breakfast comprised a spread of local dishes and also a western spread, which inlcuded having egges done the way you want it by a very bright and cheerful chef. In Thai tradition, the staff are warm and always willing to help with any of your needs. Access in and out of the resort and moving about is easy with Grab and most places of interest are within 15 to 30 min ride.

Nothing really except that we were caught in severe floods the last 2 days of our stay becasue of a freak rise in the river levels. The good thing is that the resort has a good gym and restaurant and there were still some places nearby that you could walk around. The cultural village next door is a must as the show comes with a sumptuous dinner that comes with generous refills.

Staff were exceptionally helpful. We booked a private car on the recommendation from one of the reception staff to Chiang Rai to see the white temple. It was amazing and thanks to the lady in reception we had a comfortable journey to and back. The only thing I would suggest is that the breakfast service omelette station etc clean their utensils for those guests who don’t eat pork or are vegetarian, also that they offer a better variety of breakfast as this is the only thing that lets the resort down.

From the efficient service at the front desk, to the fantastic restaurant staff with the magnificent meals served, to the gorgeous girls who pampered us in the Spa. What a wonderful experience, Thailand is certainly an experience that will be in my heart for many years to come. A special shout out to Satang, Sorn, Om and Kay. Also the lovely lady that never goes home at the Front Desk, sorry, didn't get your name. Oroy Mak Mak!! (I hope that's spelt right 🥰) and don't forget the pool.
